The best for your pet
We've been going to Ansley for 15 years with our cats. Simply put, we've never had a better experience than with the folks at Ansley. If you're local, use 'em. 'Nuff said.

great staff, great place
It really seems like they go out of their way to find people who have a real knack for dealing with animals. They are so great about answering questions, so caring. There can be a wait, but the staff is attentive and the house cat ,Elliot, is always sitting on the counter ready to greet you. Just a great feeling here.

My vet for 20 years
Ansley has been my vet for over 20 years and they are the absolute best. They've seen me through 6 cats and two dogs. I've always gotten honest and thoughtful answers to my questions and concerns. They care for the 4-legged and 2-legged members of the family over the years they have educated, reassured, comforted and consoled me. I wouldn't trust any other clinic with my pets.

A Very Caring Place
I would highly recommend taking your pets to this vet. I have been taking my cats to Ansley Animal Clinic for almost 5 years. I am constantly satisfied with the excellent care my cats receive. The front desk staff is very friendly and the doctors are very knowledgeable. Once while I was waiting for my cat's appointment, a dog that was hit by a car came in. I was amazed at how well their staff handled the situation. The dog was immediately taken to be seen by a doctor, while the owner was consoled and taken into an exam room right away. It really felt like they cared about the woman and her dog. It made me happy to know that I take my cats to such a caring place.

AAC Treats My Puppy Like Their Own
A friend recommended Ansley to me when I got a puppy earlier this year. On my first visit, they made us feel very welcome and seemed delighted to meet my puppy. I have never had to wait very long when I go for an appointment and when I have gone in to weigh my dog for heartworm medication, they always jump up to assist me immediately. They are professional and caring - Dr. Coates and the technicians are very patient and kind, with my puppy and with me. I appreciate them very much.

Nothing more than a revolving door
My cat got sick one night, so I brought him in first thing in the morning, to this vet. When I explained what was wrong, the vet said that a lot of times, cats will swallow strings, and you just have to look under the tongue to see if it's caught. That was the first thing she checked, but when my cat squirmed a little too much, she simply moved on to the next possible problem. 5 minutes later, she said to leave him for observation and that they would do some blood work ($600).

The next morning, a different doctor took a look at my cat, because something didn't seem right, and sure enough, found the string a few minutes later. She recommended emergency surgery. Had the first vet done her job correctly, I wouldn't be out $600 and wasting valuable time.

By the time my cat had the surgery, the string had been in his system so long, the procedure was much more expensive than expected. $4000! I asked the vet if we had found the string sooner, if it would have been less complicated/expensive, and the doctor replied with an assertive "OH YES." She then went on to say that if you catch these things soon enough, often you can just pull the string out of the cat, free of charge.

To add some salt to the wound, a few days later they called me back and said that my cat's kidneys were going to fail (according to the blood work), and without help, he would die in 3 months. It's been 18 months and my cat is still as healthy as ever.

A dream come true; the best vets in my experience!
Since my first visit in 2006 to today, Ansley Animal Clinic has done nothing but provide superior customer service to me and Grace (my cat). They have gone above and beyond time and time again for us, especially involving Grace's severe reaction to shots she received last year. I am terribly sad that we are moving away soon and can no longer visit Ansley! We will truly miss them!

Not recommended
The people here are nice and they do a fine job on the easy stuff like regular check-ups, testing for worms, routine vaccinations, etc. But our dog has had a few problems from time to time and these vets seem unable to diagnise or treat it. Their prescription usually seems to be that we try feeding him special prescription dog food that is only available from them. I would recommend finding a vet with more experience.

Great vet clinic
Yes, you may have to wait sometimes. That is fine with me, as long as my animals receive the best care possible.

The vets AND the office/front desk staff is so sweet and nice. In spite of the hectic pace of their jobs, they are on top of everything, polite and caring.

Ansley is my usual vet but when I had an emergency situation and happened to be located very near by the "other" vet (see my review for Briarcliff) I chose to go to the Briarcliff vet due to being stuck in traffic with a time-semstive bleeding emergency. Well, one of the front desk staff at Ansley talked to me on the phone and helped talk me through what to do to stop the bleeding on the ride to the other vet (while someone else was driving me and my dog of course!) Also, she called ahead for me to the "other" vet and even called me personally the next day to make sure everything went ok with my dog and that she was concerned. THAT is amazing service and genuine care!

The VETS at this clinic are greatespecially the guys. The male vets at this practice are SO amazing, thorough and compassionate. The two women vets there are just oknot as good as the guys in my opinion.

Really great vet!
I rushed my golden retriever to the Ansley Animal Clinic today, on a walk in emergency basis - she had a piece of a tree branch lodged in her mouth (go figure) and I was worried about her choking on it. The doctors gave her quick attention and removed the piece of tree branch. All was well that ended well.

I was pretty stressed before, worried about the dog, and the nice folks at Ansley were so good in dealing with me, too.

To top it off, the doctor cheerfully sent us on our way saying, "no charge". How great is that?!

For everything they do, I highly recommend Ansley Animal Clinic.
