L5p Corner Tavern Inc

Regardless of what melmelcoolj and other snooty OTP (Outside the Perimeter) suburbanites with which Atlanta is rather unfortunately plagued may believe about the function of a TAVERN such as Corner TAVERN, this is a great place to grab a beer or twelve at nearly any time of the day or night. The bartenders are knowledgeable and make drinks like they're supposed to be made. The beer menu is extensive and offers selections from all types of beer, usually from the best breweries for those beers. The food, though a SECONDARY factor for a TAVERN, is quite delicious, with many of your bar food favorites and some dishes fit for more complex pallets.

Highly recommended spot for drinkers and seekers of fun.
Not recommended for OTP families.

A group of us come here every Tuesday night. They have excellent bar food in general, but the standout is the fries platter with several yummy sauces.

My husband and I ate here before a concert at Variety Playhouse. What a great spot on the patio. And we were surprised by how good the food was. Our waitress was very attentive, but not pushy. And the beer selection is great, prices reasonable. People watching is superb! We saw things we never see in the suburbs!

Every time I go to Little 5 Points, I have to grab a bite at Corner Tavern. They have a very cool atmosphere and the servers have awesome personalities. On top of the atmosphere and service, the food is phenomenal! The chicken pesto sandwich is my favorite and my boyfriend is in love with the Ham and Cheddar deli sandwich! Corner Tavern also has salads, burgers, and dinner entrees, such as shrimp and scallop pasta, oriental chicken, steaks, salmon, etc. They also have great sides, soups, and appetisers if you are not in the mood for a large meal.

This modish nightspot commands one of the city's trendiest intersections at the junction of hip Moreland and even hipper Euclid, where avant-garde fashion meets slacker chic. An expansive metallic-topped bar groans under the weight of bottles while friendly and foxy servers draw "draughts" and make time with overflow patrons inside who escape the crowds on the open-air patio and pack the pool room. Black-and-white photos of Atlanta's heyday adorn the walls.
Comfy booths and a few out-of-the-way corner tables allow for private conversations but the street-side seating is where the real action happens.

You couldn't find a better corner to sit on in ATL for people watching. The patio is big-ususally can get a place out there. Pretty good brunches and bloody marys!

It's a been said, and I totally agree. Good beer bar, pool, etc.
L5p Corner Tavern is a totally a chill place.

L5p Corner Tavern is good place for a few beers with the guys. Basic bar, pool, darts etc. Street crowd can be dauting.

The L5p Corner Tavern is a after work hangout; take your buds; have a few, some grub and shove off to the later night life.

The L5P is not for everybody: seedy bums here and there begging for change, but if you want basic food and drink, then this will work.
If you want Spago's, then L5P is not yer place.
