I came here on Halloween and found it be very interesting. When I took pictures with my digital camera I would see orbs. In the dining area there is a certain area where you take a picture with your camera and you will see an image of somebody.

The Whaley House is said to be haunted. There are 'documented' accounts of people meeting the 'spirits'. My best advise is go yourself and judge. Unless you don't like ghosts. The house itself is set up as it was, and is interesting in its own right, without the ghosts.

When I visited, I smelled the sweet perfume and felt the tension on the staircase. After looking through the photo album book at the pictures that were taken of ghosts that dwelled there, i didn't hesitate to think at all that that place is haunted!

Take a tour- you won't be sorry. The tours are relatively cheap (less than $7 per person). You'll get to walk through the house and see all of the rooms, most of which still contain the original furniture. The tour guides are all very knowledgeable about the history of the house. Many "sensitive" people claim to feel the spirits in the house. I personally think it's haunted.
