Steve is a genius when it comes to HVAC systems. He was highly recommended by a friend, and I've in turn recommended him to others. He's like a bloodhound in how he can hunt down the source of... problems that eluded other companies. NOTE: I'm referring to Steve's company. Worst company. Don't hire them. First time they sent someone, he told us the unit was fine, we just needed a new thermostat. He left, and the problem still persisted. Second time the same guy... comes and tells me that he left a valve loose and all our freon leaked out, freezing our unit. This was his fault, but on the invoice he indicated otherwise. Third time a different worker comes out, says it's the condenser coil. We wait 10 days for them to come back out and replace it. They actually sent us the original guy. I refused to let him work on the unit, he responded "fine with me. now I get out early today and left". I called the company and got Roy/Troy (not sure which is correct). He was extremely rude, told me it'll be atleast 2 weeks before someone else can come out, and that I shouldn't turn people away. Then he hung up on me. The only reason we even had this low rent company in the first place is b/c we just bought the house and the sellers purchased a home warranty. We always used E Smith in the past. That is an excellent company. We're going to cancel the home warranty, pocket the $ and hire them.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Worst service I have EVER had. I am not sure how this company is still in business. It is certainly not due to the owner. Troy and Robert are friendly enough, but the Owner ( I think his name was Roy) - All i can say is... WOW - What a JERK. He refused to work on my unit, stating that it was too old and someone had previously installed something improperly. I asked what he would have done differently and he told me.. I then asked how much it would be to do what he was speaking about and he told me that he didn't want to work on my unit. I asked for his help and he refused. Said how he would be taking responsibilty for someone's previous work if he did, and how he was already batteling with other customers. He clearly was having a bad day. He walked up all lethargic like and you could tell from the start that he did not want to be there. I have 5 units total... Boy did he mess himself out of ALOT of business to maintain them every 6 months. I would never reccomend them and am certain that they wont stay in business for long if he continues to treat customers like that.He is clearly a miserable person that has no idea how to service a customer.

Thanks to Metro Heating and Air for the free 10 point A/C tune up through our AHS Home Warranty account. Roger was on time, professional, friendly and helpful as he checked everything out. I was wary he would try to upsell me on something, especially since it was a free AHS service, but he said everything looked good. I appreciate that. He added some refrigerant for us. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if he had a spare filter to change out for our dirty one, but hey, you can't get better than good free service!
This is the worst company I have ever come into contact with. Roy is who you have to deal with and he is a miserable human being who does not know how to treat customers. They came to our condo a total of 3 days after we called them to inform them we had no AC in the middle of August. The AC broke again the next week after they “fixed it”. Then I called him to come back and they could not even get out there that same day when it’s their fault it did not get fixed properly. Roy laughed at me over the phone when I said I really needed them to come out there that day!!! I called another company who said it would be no problem at all for them to come out that day. It is the middle of August and it is 80 degrees in our apartment because Roy and Metro Air are terrible. After asking around apparently others have had the same issues with this company. Do not use them!!!!!

Metro installed our system for a low price. It did work out, but the process was increadibly painful. He only showed up about 1 out of 3 times he said he would. The install took over 2 months.
Steve did a great job in refurbishing one of my furnaces and replacing an original 25 year old furnace that stopped working. He was very honest and suggested replacing parts when I was prepared to replace, which saved me money. I would have no hesitation recommending steve to anyone and will definitely use him again.
Charged over $800 for a $100 problem. Another vendor fixed for $100 but Steve still has my money. Also took him from July to October to "fix" the problem. It took another vendor 2 hours. Oh yeah, and forget about warranty work- they don't do that. Protect your money and go elsewhere. Review is not fabricated. Talking with Steve is a waste of time and leads to just more misery. My last advice is please, for your own good, please use someone else.

I dont know of any customers with a problem such as yours, this is the first I've heard of this, please call and if what your saying is true I'll give you a refund. By the way this is Steve and why haven't you called me regarding this matter? Probably because this review is fabricated! I still have no knowledge of this other than your post, how can you post this without atleast giving me a chance to fix. I know you havent called because I answer the phones. Also why has it taken you this long to post a negative review, every other negative review I've received were posted within hours of the call not months so with these facts I call B.S. nice try whoever you are!
Called on a Sunday afternoon and Steve was here within 30 minutes, had diagnosed and fixed the problem in 15 minutes and was warm again within an hour. All for less than $100.
Called Metro in middle of the coldest snap of the season. Steve returned my call and came out, same day! In addition, Steve called and advised he was running a bit late. Fixed my problem and good to work with. Definitely recommend.
Steve came out and hooked us up. Price was great, service was great, over and above, all with a great attitude - Steve was great to work with. I felt 100% comfortable that he fixed only what needed fixing, and was straight up on his diagnosis. He'll work on all our rentals in the future.
Steve is my neighbor. I had lost heat in my home on one of the coldest days this winter. I called steve and he was at my home within five minutes. He diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. and he did not charge me an arm and a leg ! I am blessed to have him as my neighbor. They say a man is blessed if he has a good neighbor and a good wife. This makes me half blessed. I am looking for a good wife. It did not work out last time with my ex. !!

I called Steve. He came out the next day and wasted no time finding the problem, fixing it and then giving me a short course on keeping my furnace happy. All this with a great attitude and no upselling pressures. Thanks Steve. See you in the late spring for an AC tune-up!
This business came highly recommended by my neighbor so I had Steve come up to give me a quote on replacing an entire unit for my house (furnace, a/c, condenser)also put in a new return etc. He came out looked at the unit and said he would provide me a quote the next day. He provided a competitive quote for 2 different systems that met my needs. Hopefully installation will be as good as his friendly service call.

I saw some good reviews on this business and called up Steve for help. He came in, changed out a part, charged me $480 for a $220 part (obviously I had no clue at that time and could not wait and freeze in order to get a second quote) and 1/2 hr of labor and left, never to be heard back from again. No responses to my email inquiries about warranty on the part or the reason for the huge markup in the price. I obviously preferred to contact him by email rather than calling because I wanted his responses in writing, but got nothing out of him in 1.5 months since the service! Steve, I would have appreciated it if you had spent a fraction of the time that you took to find out about my background and respond here, if you had just sent in a one line response to my 2 emails. Obviously you do not care about the customer until there is a possibility that it will hurt your business.

The follow up he's referring to is a e-mail he sent after the job was complete regarding why i charged him double what he found a price online for the same part. (I made the mistake of leaving the box at his house.) I didn't feel that I had to justify the cost of running a company to a guy with a PhD, that works at Ga. Tech, Although I was tempted to refer him to one of his colleagues in the business dept. of the school for which he works for an explanation. I know the price hundreds lower than my competition and by luck i had the conversion kit on my truck what luck we both had for that. The odds of any tech in my field having the kit stocked on their van is about the same as winning the lottery So no labor for part pick-up.Here is his e-mail "Thanks for your help today. Unit is working fine so far. Tip: Never leave parts packaging w/ customer... Sir it took no time to research you since your e-mail identifies your level of education and place of employment, however it takes me a long time to type, so yes I will take the time to respond when someone tries to hurt me or my business with reviews such as yours when I know for a fact that your total price was well below market value,remember this is my profession not yours! And one more thing all you had to do was call me. Isn't that how you originally got in touch w/ me? I would have made any changes to the invoice you requested I guess I should have charged you full price of over $600.00. Hind sight is 20 20! You should call some of my competitors and inquire the price for a high wind kit installed on a lennox furnace before you criticize my prices, and its easy to know what you need after you watch me diagnose it. If you could have got the part cheaper then why call me? Exactly! $480.00 was for service call, labor and part.. P.S. I didnt pay nearly what you would have online, but i have to incorporate the expenses associated w/ operating a business... I hope this makes you feel better...Steve
