John Temmel The Siding Window & Deck Guy

After researching thoroughly and getting bids, we selected John Temmel for our job. The crew did a great job. I was especially impressed when John leveraged his 20 yrs building experience to be on the job to jack up/repair hanging bay windows as the job went along. Thanks to John's keen project management, we now have all new windows, 2 new sliders, 1 new door, all new gutters and beautifully painted siding. We're the best looking house on the street! John's team replaced our siding with Hardiplank and also did our painting and gutters. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors. I really appreciate his attention to detail. He was very customer focused and completed on our job on schedule and on budget. Thank you!

John was recommended to me by a neighbor. I needed a long section of band joist and sill plate replaced before building a new deck. I got 5 quotes and John's was less than half of all the others. He was able to start within a week and finished in one day (the others quoted 3-5 days). It was a great experience, and when it comes time to replace our siding, I will definitely contact John again.

John just completed new Hardie Plank siding on my house. Did exactly what he said he would do, stuck to his price and waited to the end for final payment. Always responsive to any concerns. Went out of his way to please. Mine was the fourth house in my neighborhood to use John. And all are satisfied, happy customers. John Temmel installed Hardiplank siding on my primary home in Alpharetta in May 2007 and he did a wonderful job, so good in fact that I hired him again this year (March 2011) to do an extensive makeover on a vacation home we recently purchased. We ended up with another great result. In both cases I bid the job out with other contractors, but was swayed by John’s knowledge of home construction, his competitive bids, and his personal assurances of quality as an owner of the company. I found it easy to work with him. On our latest job, he personally surveyed our site and made helpful recommendations we hadn’t considered that really proved to make a difference. He provided a detailed plan with cost breakouts, and he delivered everything promised. When we raised issues along the way we were delighted with his “no problem we will take care of it” attitude. On the latest job, John’s team installed new French doors, as well as new Hardiplank siding, vented Hardi soffits, gable louvered vents, rake trim and fascia boards, new gutters, and a complete three-color paint job, both for the house and a detached garage. The home has undergone quite a transformation and we are really happy with the quality of John’s work.
