During a recent trip to Atlanta, my TMJ began acting up worse than ever before. Timing could not have been more terrible as I could barely enjoy my visit due to pain. Luckily, Dr. Norman Eng was available and very accommodating. He took extra time to explain to me the nature of my injury (which I did not understand even after years of doctor visits) and taught me exercises that I could utilize at home to improve my flexibility and decrease pain. Never have I experienced such thorough and complete care, especially knowing that I was only a visitor to the area! I would highly recommend Dr. Eng to anyone looking for more than your average doctor. Allison Gaines, PsyD

I went to Dr. Eng for pain in my hip and leg after being diagnosed with piriformis syndrome from a previous chiropractor. Dr. Eng identified that there was more going on than just issues with the piriformis and evaluated the big picture and decided on treatment accordingly. He gave me exercises to do at home and did not hesitate to co-treat me with other medical professionals. I really appreciate his team approach. You do not have to live with pain and highly recommend Dr. Eng for his ability to troubleshoot the problem and his persistence in helping his patients attain lasting pain relief. I just found out I am pregant and I am so happy to have him in my court to help treat the aches and pains I know are sure to come!

I have episodical lumbar region back pain for last 15 years, especially after running or straining workouts. Sometimes I am able to stretch it out myself but sometimes I need professional help. I am a doctor that just moved to Atlanta and I was lucky that someone have recommended dr Norm Eng to me. One good session fixed it for good. Vast knowledge, great skills, amazing doctor patient relationship. Worth recommending!

Dr. Eng has a holistic view that solves the root of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms like so many previous MDs, Neuromuscular Therapists, and Physical Therapists before. I had chronic neck pain and stiffness and when in spasm, couldn't even turn my head. This would happen at least once a month leaving me in excruciating pain for five days at a time. He squeezed me in the same day, as a new patient, when I said I was in severe pain. He immediately eased the pain with a Graston Technique (which I had never heard of). After an interview and an exam he found my shoulder and posture were actually the cause. He gave me gave me exercises and showed me how to prevent further irritation. Now he works on my TMJ and what was initially (and I found out wrongly) diagnosed as tendonitis. I am now a believer of Chiropractic and Dr. Eng convert - good bye Advil.

I had a Rotator Cuff issue that made it hurt to lift my arm. I tried Dr. Eng to see if there was some non-surgical alternative and he used the Graston Technique that breaks up internal scar tissue, in addition to standard chiropractic adjustments. After a couple months of treatment, he healed me completely, with full range of motion restored, return to previous strength, and no pain. I know others with rotator cuff injuries who had surgery instead, yet cannot claim full healing like I have experienced at the skilled hands of Dr. Eng, unsing non-invasive methods. I offer to him my thanks and profound gratitude.

I came to Dr. Eng a couple of months ago with pain due to repetitive stress injuries from typing. I'd already seen 4 hand surgeons, 2 other chiropractors, and been prescribed countless medications over the past 2 years yet I was still suffering with debilitating pain every day of my life. I did not want to have surgery so I was actively looking for alternative treatment. When I went to see Dr. Eng, he was very thorough in his evaluation. He is always informative during every treatment session. Letting me know where my nerve entrapments were and stretches to do while at home. Through the various treatment methods, I have been able to do simple things that I haven't done in years without pain. I'm now confident that I will make a full recovery. I recommend him because he cares a lot about his patients recovery. All healthcare professionals should but from my experiences, it is rare to find one that does. He also performs various treatments such as the graston technique and A.R.T. not just simple spine adjustments. I only wish I knew of him 2 years ago. Thanks Dr. Eng, you are the best!!!!

Norman is extremely personable and helped relieve my back injury I haven't been able to rid for over years. Great service and even better treatment. I also thoroughly enjoy his methods as they are unique and much more beneficial than the avg Chiropractor

Dr. Eng has treated me for a number of running related injuries using ART and Graston. The first injury he treated was chronic hip pain which hindered my ability to run distances. After 3 treatments the pain was gone. One of the outstanding characteristics of Dr. Eng is he does not just treat the injury - he takes the time to find out why the injury occurred and recommends specific exercises/preventative measures to keep it from reoccurring. His concern is for the patient and their overall well being. Dr. Eng also works in concert with other professionals so they can work together on treating injuries.

4 weeks ago I sprained my ankle exercising at boot camp. Within an hour the ankel had swollen to teh size of a tennis ball. I went to an MD since there was a loud audible 'pop' to those around me when it happened. It was not broken however I was told to get some crutches and stay off it for 6 - 8 weeks. After 3 days I went to Dr. Norm Eng at 14th street Chiropractic. He performed 3 graston techniques over the next 5 days. The later part of week 2 I went hiking in yellowstone. Week 3, I was back at bootcamp with an ace bandage. Week 4 lost the ace bandage and I am wearing heels to work! I highly recommend the graston technique for anyone who wants to get back on their feet quickly after a major sprain!

I have been to many chiropractors in the past but none have been as focued and attentive as Dr. Eng. His combination of Graston, ART and traditional chiropractic care have healed my headaches and intense shoulder pain. I'm also an avid cyclist and therefore, have lots of many minor aches and pains. Dr. Eng addresses these quickly and helps to avoid serious problems from developing. He also teaches the proper stretching and exercises to prevent aches and pains from forming. He is more than a chiropractor - he is a trainer, healer and chiropractor all in one.

Phys therapy only slightly helped my chronic back, shoulder & neck pain. Dr. Eng eliminated it in 3 mos. For those nervous about their backs being cracked: SPINAL ADJUSTMENTS MADE UP JUST HALF THE TREATMENT I got. He mixed chiro. w/homeopathy, massage therapy & sports medicine. Few chiropractors say the same. He gave me exercises to do @ home. Even checked on my progress btwn sessions. His secret weapon: the Grasten technique. Incredible! FYI, I was a tough case: frmr college football player w/degenerative disc, ankle sprains, knee tendonitis, hip pain, all worsened by a stressful job & half marathons. Now I work & run pain-free!

Dr "Norm" Eng is one of the foremost practitioners of chiropractic medicine in the Greater Atlanta Area. I discovered Dr. Eng during an extensive quest to rehabilitate a severe ankle injury. After patronizing a host of podiatrists, chiropractors and physical therapists, it was Dr. Eng's use of the Graston technique that put me on the path to complete functionality. As my condition improved he progressed my care plan to promote general wellness via strength conditioning exercises as well as nutrition counseling. Not only does Dr. Eng offer precise and efficient chiropractic adjustments but he has a true gift with his ability to communicate and educate patients in understanding anatomy and physiology. Additionally he is honest and straight forward in explaining fees associated with his services. The unique setting at 14th Street Chiropractic promotes unparalleled individualized attention and excellent customer service. Norman Eng is a Doctor in the true definition of the word.

As a marathon runner I have had various sports related injuries preventing me from reaching my full potential in training and races. I went to orthopedic doctors as well as chiropractors, and Dr. Eng really stood out above most doctors. He truly understands athletes, and can empathize with them resulting in great treatment plans. His experience working at medical tents at marathons gave him invaluable experience that he uses with other runners that come in to meet with him. He uses various techniques in his practice and spends the time to make sure he fully understands the whole picture. The Graston technique improved the pain I had in my knees during and after long runs, and I only use chiropractic care for medical preparation and prevention in my marathon training.
