This is the 2nd year that I have used Northside Gutter Cleaning company to clean my gutters. They are wonderful! I had an emergency where water was coming into my house. I had been quoted by some other companies (and let us just say they wanted to charge me thousands, for a problem that was so easy to fix). I had called up Northside gutter unsure if they could help me or not with my water problem. I spoke to Charles, the owner and he had explained to me that I had some clogged underground drains and possibly some leaking seams. Well it turned out that that was exactly what the issue had been. Apparently my gutters were so backed up that water had been getting into my home. After the cleaning a few small (but heavy) storms came through and no water came into my home or was running down the walls or simply straight over the gutter...kind of like a water fall. I'm a pretty new home owner and I have had quite a bit of misfortune in my new home, from bursting water pipes and so on. In all of the chaos of everything that is going on, Charles and his crew made taking care of the gutters and underground drains painless. They came when they said they would and they left when they said they would. They didn't try to sell me anything extra. They did just what they said they were going to do and honestly, that meant so much to me. I will definitely use them again!

I just recently got the gutters on my home cleaned out by Northside Gutter Cleaning Inc. I absolutely love how fast and efficient they were during the job. After they were finished, it was cleaned up and you couldn't even tell individuals were working at my home. The gutters are working properly and look new. I would highly recommend this company to others that need to have their gutters cleaned out.

WOW. So I just read the creative response from the owner. I realize it makes him look better to try and portray me as the one with less than respectable conduct. But it seems as though the owner added some inaccurate details on my behalf and left out the excessive number of times in a row he called me after reading my review. I am sure he will shoot a reply as he seems to be the type that needs the last word, but I am done playing that game. I trust these review sites. I share positive and negative feedback to the communutiy so that others benefit in the same way that I do. He will do and say what he needs to in order to get money. If people were or are happy with his services, fabulous. But I wouldn't want any of my friends to have to deal with him, so I wrote what I did. Back to my life now. I The owner is a jerk and the company is a rip-off! After receiving a quote, the owner told me that he would be at my house sometime this week, but would call me to let know in advance. I never received any email giving the policies/scheduling. I clearly gave him 2 numbers and stated my cell gets no service in the house, he only called once days later, and I didn't know he was coming. I had to cancel when they showed up as I was leaving, and instead of letting me reschedule he charged me the full fee!

Hello, Annie called on Wednesday afternoon and asked us to clean her gutters by Friday afternoon. We said we would. I told her we would call her in the morning the day she was scheduled, ether Thursday or Friday. I also let her know that she did not need to be home for us to do the work. On Friday morning we called both numbers and she did not pick up. An hour later our crew showed up at the door and she told us another company had cleaned them on Thursday. I called to let her know we do have a minimum trip fee for canceling service at the door. She hung up on me. She in turn left this review. It looks as if she called several companys and the first one that showed up did the job. If she had called and canceled service there would be no charge. When the guys were at the door she did not want to reschedule and she was not charged the full amount. Thank you for your time.
Hi, I have heard that from a few people lately. They say left a message and never received a call back. Come to find out we have been having problems with our messaging system and a lot of messages have been undelivered. We answer the phones from 7:50-6:30 Monday thru Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. Now that I'm aware of the problem I anticipate it will be resolved by the end of the week. Thanks for telling us about the problem. If you need us to take care of your rainwater drainage issues give me a call and I will get it taken care of right away.
Language barrier.Seriously?That's a lame excuse.I don't need an assessment from you about my language. And two and a half month time frame is not acceptable for any service.Get over it and stop lame excuses.Take criticisms and work on it.

I believe there is always time to be polite. We did not intend to come across as arrogant. I feel that the language barrier contributed to his interpretation. This morning he aggressively canceled, talking over me the whole time. With out argument I removed him from the route. We have worked for this gentleman in the past and he know that we do give a time frame the work will be completed within. This year the thunderstorms and above 100f heat have put us momentarily behind schedule. When he called 3 weeks ago we gave him a 2.5 week window, weather permitting. We were running behind but he was on the schedule. Our job is to make every customer a returning customer even the difficult ones. We would welcome him if he chose to use our service in the future. Thank you for your time.
I called Northside after using another service for several years. Northside's price to repair a downspout, clean skylights and gutters was much more reasonable. Matthew Robins called to let me know he was coming, did a fantastic job, and left the invoice in my mailbox. I couldn't be more pleased.

All I can say is WOW! Our gutters were in desperate need of cleaning and new covers. Northside Gutter Cleaning came out and took care of 4+ years of gutter debris and expertly replaced our aging gutter guards with new ones! They also did a great job of cleaning up all the debris from my property before they left. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking help for clogged/problem gutters! Thanks Charles & your crew!!!

I see that NGCI had a rebuttle to my comments. I can assure you that I have many years of experience in dealing with this company and what I say is completely accurate. They know it, too. I have given NGCI many chances to get and keep my business over the years. After complaining that they did a poor job on my pressure-washing, the owner, Charles, yelled at me and later apologized. So, I gave him another chance and they cleaned my gutters the next year. Last Tuesday, I asked them to come over to give me an estimate on gutter replacement and repair. Charles said he would send someone Thursday or Friday. The following Tuesday arrived, and when I called, he didn't even remember the conversation and couldn't find the work order or my account of 14 years. NGCI is flakey and unprofessional...and I wonder how my gutters got damaged to begin with.

I believe this review is from a competitor and designed to trick consumers in to thinking we are the wrong choice. There are several things out of place about this review. #1. In 1998 we converted from ACT to Quickbooks. Since then we have been able to recall customer data on demand. #2. Whenever a customer has been unhappy with anything there has never been a problem with us returning. We know you cannot please all the people all the time. Especially when it comes to their most prized possession. They may see something that we didn't. So we know call backs are going to happen even if it is perfect and its ok with us. It's Part of the job. #3. We have never used an acronym to describe our business. I feel it takes away from the company image unless you are NCR or ATT. #4. This is the biggest one that lets me know that this review is not from a legitimate source - I do not yell.
I have asked Kudzu to please police the reviews section a little better and remove bogus reviews. They will not. They say it is not there job and a review is a review. They tell me to go get more reviews. I will not falsely review myself just to match the competitions gargantuan volume of reviews on Kudzu. I have not built my business on lies and trickery and I won't start now. I have chosen to cancel my $1100/ Month ad with Kudzu. The ROI and customer service make it an unattractive place to advertise.

Another Anonymous Review from a person whom we have never interacted with. Thanks for not giving us a one star rating. Nice acronym, NGCI. Our more unscrupulous competitors use acronyms to hide payments from the IRS and there insurance but we have never used one. Any ways thanks for thinking about us and thanks for the bogus review. After looking up the other company that Atlantan25 reviewed- Atlanta Roofing & Renovations, LLC. We found that they only exist in KUDZU's free profile section. Intelligent consumers know better.
I have used other company in the past and I've always had water problems. I found these guys on line and i gave them a call. Charles asked me a couple of questions and said he knew what the problem was. They came out and fixed my gutters. Since then I've been dry as a bone.

Price was right, but not without hassles. Took longer than expected to come, then workers missed part of the roof/had to get more materials to come back and complete work. In the end was satisfied with quality of the work.

It took a couple of days longer than we anticipated, 20 instead of 18days. The guys did not have enough screens to go around a bay window in front and we did have to return to install 5 screens. The cleaning and screen install took 3-4 hrs; the return visit took 10 minutes.
Time spent convincing the good Rabbi that we are not bad people took 8hrs, some free gutter screens, 16 hi resolution pictures, a bit of computer work, several telephone conversations and a couple of emails. His screens are warranted for life and he can rest easy knowing that we're here to keep the water out.
When she set up the appointment we told her we had a 2.5 week time frame at that moment. She said that was O.K. After a few days she sent a nasty email and canceled. She did not give us an opportunity to do our job. If she had an emergency we would have been happy to have moved her work order to the front of the line.
I needed gutter work done quickly, and Northside Gutter Cleaning provided a same-day estimate as well as performing the work the next day. I had a long section of gutter replaced on the back of my 1950s ranch, as well as some gutter on the front. Structural work was performed to support the replacement. The whole job was then painted to match my existing trim color. Considering all existing constraints, including time, I am satisfied with this work. Although I was surprised by the initial quote, the business owner held his ground on the price, which I ultimately respected him for doing. His assessment was that the job was quite complicated, justifying the cost. After seeing the work that was done, I agree that I got good value for the money. When we discussed the job estimate, the business owner said he would provide me a receipt for the job at completion. It wasn't provided. When I made a recent follow-up call to get a copy of this receipt, he had great difficulty accommodating my request. He stated at least twice that he would have to generate an invoice 'out of thin air,' which is not what I wanted, but I agreed to accept in order to conclude the matter. I believe he is expecting me to 'trash' (his word) his business. Therefore, I have been careful in this review to stick to facts or quotes, and to separate assessment of the work -- very good, from my customer service experience -- bad. Full disclosure: I hung up on the business owner in frustration.

This gentleman left this review months after the work was completed. It all started when he called us on a Thursday in a panic. The company he had initially hired to do the gutter work didn't show up that morning and they were not returning his calls. They left him hanging in the wind. He was selling the home and he had to have the job completed by the weekend. I gave him a quote over the phone, a fair price. I rearranged the schedule for two of the guys and they spent all day Friday doing twice the work originally quoted. We honored the original price. When finished they collected payment and gave him a receipt. I updated the address in the computer to current resident because he was moving. He called me back two months later saying that the gutter we put up on the side of the house fell of. I reminded him that we installed a gutter on the back of the home. He finally agreed and then he start talking about how he never got a receipt. Months later the job does not exist in our records under his name because he said he was selling his home and we have coded it as Current Resident... So i would have to create one out of thin air to give him a receipt now. If he contacts us again Quickbooks has ways of finding addresses after the customer information has been updated. We can work some thing out and roll back the records. He just has to give us more information than he did or he will get the same answer. I wish he had taken the time out to leave us a positive review when we were the good guys saving his backside.
The guys that came out to do the work were excellent. Very clean, they did a great job. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 because my bill was 45% more than quoted based on our discussion and google map view. Charles did honor the quoted price.
