Sawhaven was updating my kitchen when I mentioned some furniture I wanted put together. They said they could send ma one of their handymen for that so I agreed to try. He saved me so much time that I did not let him leave for 2 days! He repaired some window rot, cleaned my gutters, installed 3 towel bars, installed 2 ceiling fans, and repaired my broken baby changing table door. I did not know how much a difference a professional can make on even the small stuff.

Used this company on a few small jobs, e.g. toilet replacement. They did a decent job. Used them on a bit more extensive work this last time around, and it was a bit of a hassle. The owner, Bastian, said he would get things worked out, and I hope he does.

Sawhaven was already doing my kitchen and bathroom updating when I asked them if they could do some other odd, small jobs around my house. I was surprised when they said they could. They were quick and clean! I was happy with all the work. List completed at last.

I called Sawhaven and requested a quote for work at our home. Jeff Higgins told me they wouldn't be able to come out to give a quote but I could email him pictures of all that needed to be done and he'd email me a quote. I did this on 11/2. Jeff called me back the same day and told me he'd email the quote the following morning. After 3 days passed, I followed up and Jeff emailed that I'd have it the next day (day 4). Long story short, it's been 3 WEEKS and still no quote. Obviously, I've had the work done already ($800 project) but want to save others the frustration of dealing with this company. Also, I find it outrageous that this company replies to their past negative reviews by stating "we only gave an estimate and didn't do the work." Customer service during the estimation process is part of "the work" and represents how they'll perform on a job.

From our first visit to Sawhaven through to the end of the project, we were more than satisfied with the work of everyone we met. John guided us through the process of designing the kitchen and then choosing the accessories to match and enhance that design. He knows how to listen. Shawn is an exacting artist, as well as a nice person, and the results of his work are evidence of his perfectionism. Every contractor on the job was courteous, competent, responsible and absolutely committed to giving us an excellent outcome. Communication and timing during the project could not have been better. All in all, it was a pleasant experience resulting in an exquisite kitchen.
