This young man is unlicensed, and I Filed a 15-Page Complaint with The Secretary of State's Licensing Board here in Georgia, after my husband and I were Defrauded out of over $43,000!! The Special Investigator with The Licensing Board Filed a 'Cease and Desist' Order, even though Mr. Davis has never been Licensed!! My husband and I had our home, property, good names and excellent credit score ruined at the hands of this Sociopath, and four years later, we are still trying to rise from the ashes of what used to be 'our lives'. If this man even approaches you, Run!! There are no words to say that would convey to you the torturous 8 months of our lives that were spent under the verbal, emotional and mental abuse and master manipulation of this evil young man from April of 2013 until January of 2014!! I have kept track of him, and have learned that there are at least 15 more victims that have been added to his List of devastation, following his 'fleeing from our home on foot' back in January of 2014. I tried to take him to Court. There is no Justice!! Stay Away from this man!! Get Away from this man!!
Davis tore away the back of our house and deck, and 'fled' leaving it framed-in with ugly tarps strung across our roof line! Our home remained in this deplorable condition for over a year, until our church and Home Depot could Partner together to put up plywood to enclose this entire area and build a Shed Roof to keep out the elements! We suffered over 140 days and nights of Rain, Wind, Sleet, and Freezing temperatures, with water pouring down the walls causing damage, before help arrived!
Area Canton, GA
Cost $15,000 - $19,999
Date April 2013

Jon has pressure washed and stained my deck and balconies. Also screened in the balconies. He has installed window tints, installed a sprinkler system, and a termite protection system. For free he has given me tips on lawn care, picked up a couple rocking chairs at Lowe's, and given me other general home caring tips. No reasonably priced contracter is perfect. He missed an appointment here and there but I never had completion times written in my contracts as it was not an issue with me. I highly recommend Jon to do anything you might need done with your home and/or property. Pay him promptly and he will keep in touch with you and complete youe desired work until you are both satisfied. You can e-mail me at originalwhimpy@windstream .net if you require further information.

Just like what you have read about the others who have written a tragic story about this Company, I too have been victimized. I hired this company to do renovations to my home in June 2009. But the bottom line was this, the company walked off the job leaving 33% of the job unfinished that cost me over $5,000.00 beyond the $20,000.00 I had already paid Prestige Construction and Renovations to complete. Furthermore, the other contractor who I hired to completed what this company did not finish, said that it was going to cost me an additional $10,000.00 to repair the mistakes that Prestige R & C made. These mistakes caused hidden damages to my home that was discovered by a licensed inspector provided by the State of Georgia. Whatever you do make sure that you do not do business with this company. Avoid costly mistakes.

I came home from a short trip to find my home flooded. I called Prestige Construction and Jon came out to my home immediately. He took care of the damage that day. Because of Jon's excellent service I hired Prestige Construction to do the extensive remodeling of my home. Jon went above and beyond any of my expectations with his quality of work. He was prompt and always had a pleasant attitude. I will hire Prestige Construction for any future projects.

My choice of Prestige Construction and Renovations to repair the front porch on my 55 year-old home was beyond my expectations. John and his team didn't cut corners, and were quite diligent to make certain that the repairs were made to fit in with the style of the house. Not only did they work quickly, they stayed within my budget and the wood work is beautiful and is a work of art. I would hire them again without reservation whenever I need remodeling work in the future.

My story is exactly like everyone here that is doing a review. I've successfully sued him and had to garnish his bank account to get a little money back. I've put lien's on two houses in his name. This guy is HORRIBLE. He will not finish your job and I HIGHLY suggest never using him. He took me for a good bit of money as I was gullable because I needed the work done and he was the only person that said they could do it within the time frame. Never will I pay a contractor anything up front unless I personally purchase the material and personally have it delivered to my house. He gives contractors a bad name and I hope he gets what he deserves...NO BUSINESS.

I had hired Jon Davis to complete a large job for me. To keep the story short, I have paid him over 80% of the job and only 30% of the work had been done. I am out over $8k finishing the work he refused to do, along with fixing the work he did that was done improperly. I can also confirm he is not licensed which is illegal in the state of ga. He was also very vulgar, threatening, and cursed me out several times. I almost had a restraining order placed on him. If anyone else has been taken by this crook, please contact me immediately at Integra6@earthlink.net

It would be in your best interest to run when you see the person come your way. I signed a contract with Mr. Davis, in which he started the job, I paid him in full and he did not finish the job. I had to hire an attorney. Now Mr. Davis calls me with verbal threatens and mentally. He is trying to intimidate me into giving him more money. He is not registered with the State and he is not certified. After July 1, 2008 all contractor were to have been licensed by the State. I don't mean a regular business license, but the the licensing process that tests the contractor's knowledge of construction techniques, his general understanding of the international building code, and examines the number and complexity of the projects he has completed. Call the Secretary of the State for this. He told me I had to pull my own building permit, which the county said only if I was doing the job. When I mentioned something that his lay workers did wrong, he started yelling at me and saying that I was accusing him of doing a bad job. What do you think will happen when someone has to call him on his job guarantee when something goes bad. The hardy plank he put on my house is starting to fall off.
