Amazing job done by Tom. Excellent results and very professional. He provides good guidance for maintaining the grout.
Tom was doing some work in my neighborhood when I saw an ad on his car and stopped him to see if he'd take a look at the grout in our shower. There was a ton of soap scum from 13 years of wear that... had actually stained the grout and it looked awful, and we were getting close to putting our house on the market. He came in and assessed the situation and got to work the next week redoing the grout in the entire shower. He did a phenomenal job on something I didn't think could be fixed. And he saved me thousands of dollars by telling me how to properly clean the shower pan and doors so I wouldn't have to pay someone to install new ones. He also touched up the caulk in another bathroom and the kitchen and everything looks amazing. I can't recommend Tom and Mr. Grout enough! Thanks for a job well done!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Tom just left our house after re-grouting & caulking the shower in our master bathroom. He arrived when he said he would, finished the job in the time frame he estimated, and did an excellent job! I only wish I would have taken before pictures to show the missing grout and mildew buildup (that I could never get rid of) that he fixed. The shower looks brand new (which I thought was impossible considering it is 25+ years old) and he did a thorough clean up before he left. I would recommend Tom to anyone who has grouting/caulking needs. Happy that I now "have a guy" when it comes to grout.

I had Tom re-grout a bathroom in my old rental house last year. It was very dirty and several of the tiles were uneven and coming loose. We always did our best to clean in between tenants, but this time it was just too bad to get by with a good cleaning. Tom was very prompt and a really nice guy. I left him in the bathroom and another handyman in another room working on some painting/patch work. It took Tom about 4 hours and he left his bill on the counter. When I came back, I was amazed at how great(clean) it looked and he had actually repaired some of the loose/uneven tiles. My regular handyman saw the bill and commented about how he could have done it for less. I have no doubt a handyman 'could' have done it for less, but the quality of Tom's work is FAR superior to anything that handyman has EVER done for me. It was worth a little extra money to get it done right. Tom is very focused. He does one thing and he does it well. Any grout jobs will definitely go to Tom.

Tom did a great job re-caulking the line between my kitchen counter tops and back splash and areas that had settled between my bathroom cabinets and tile. He matched the colors well and the areas now look like new. His pricing is good for the work and time spent.

Tom did a great job in creating our kitchen backslashes. He followed the given design patiently with the result more than beating our expectations. I would advise anyone who plans to try this themselves to instead make your life easier and just call Tom, Mr. Grout.

Tom (Mr. Grout) Bass - is a skilled artisan - who has perfected the craft of total cosmetic facelift for aging baths and kitchens. Old ceramic tile grouting and seams. Sink and lavatory caulking. Kitchen backsplash and counter seams. Voila. Like new - all for a few hours work. Fairly priced and very personable.

The shower in our Master Bedroom was really showing it's age. Mildew, missing caulk, etc. I found Mr. Grout on Kudzu and saw the great reviews. Tom gave us a good estimate and we hired him to do the job. He was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The shower looks like new! We are very happy with the work and highly recommend Tom aka Mr. Grout.

Hiring Tom Bass (Mr. Grout) to re-grout the shower enclosure and floor in a heavily used bathroom that was showing signs of both wear and age was one of the best home improvement decisions Iíve made. From the initial estimate to the completed job Mr. Bass was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. He delivered what he promised on time and with minimal disturbance to our household routine. He is not just knowledgeable, meticulous, and thorough; he is a craftsman. The bathroom looked brand new when he finished and there was nothing to clean up. I highly recommend Mr. Bass and plan to hire him again for future home renovation projects. Thank you!

We did a complete kitchen renovation and the tile backsplash was one of the final pieces of the puzzle. Tom visited my house and told me exactly how much the job would cost beforehand. He was even able to come up with a great idea for how to finish off the ends of the tiled area. The work was completed quickly and there was no mess left behind. I am completely happy with the result and would definitely use Mr. Grout again.

Several months ago Sallyws50 asked me to re-grout and re-caulk two tub areas and the remaining tile in both bathrooms. Unfortunately my tool slipped and left a small scratch on an older four inch lemon yellow tile. Quality and craftsmanship are of the utmost importance to me and several times during the three trips it took to complete the project she told me how pleased she was with how re-grouting made her bathrooms look new. The scratch I am aware of happened near the end of the third day. I was truly embarrassed by the error and when she asked me how much of a discount I was going to give her, I told her that because of the total size of the job, the work done that final day would be at no charge.
