Great Gluten-Free Pizza
Jeanine makes great gluten-free pizza. It is nice that I can enjoy pizza here just like everyone else. There are very few places I can eat out and we drive from Carson City just to have pizza. In fact I don't know of any other pizza place that offers a gluten free pizza. My husband loves the pizza as well. There is something for everyone. I would highly recommend Big Apple Pizza to everone I know. Thank you, Charlene Morehead

Real pizza, real subs, real people
I've been a customer at Big Apple Pizza since they opened. I'm not a very sophisticated person, but I do know what I like, and that's a real pizza pie. I lived on the East Coast and tasted many, many pies, and subs as well, but they do not compare to the delicious home made style food that Todd makes. He makes his OWN mozzarella, dough (fresh!) and rolls, sauces, meatballsand the meat he uses is top quality. His veggies and other ingredients are very fresh and well-selected. I popped in today for my regular 'slice', but decided to have a sub instead. I nearly fell off my chair. It was FULL of meat - huge portion - all the way to the end of the roll (not like some joints), just the right amount of 'shrooms and peppers and onions, sauteed just right and nice, creamy provolone cheese. The roll was fresh and very, very tasty. I've never EVER had anything but excellent food at Big Apple Pizza. The prices are just right - if it's too expensive for you, go buy a frozen pie at the grocery store, and see what you get. I've eaten at most of the pizzarerias in the area, but Big Apple is heads above the rest. The casual friendliness (joking aside, they're from Jersey and New York, so you're gonna get some yelling, hey, get outta here!) All the entrees are so savory and well seasoned. This is the real deal - what a pizza should be - no fancy schmancy toppings, soggy or stale bread. Best of all, no contrived, nouveau cuisine - hey, it's PIZZA for crying out loud! I challenge anyone to find a better pizza place rated on top quality food, taste, price and CONSISTENCY! I can fully depend on Todd to deliver up what I order and make it so freakin' good, I wanna cry!...

Mediocre pizza
I thought the pizza here was nothing exceptional, except for the fact that two pizzas cost me $50. Each topping alone cost $2, and yet when I opened my pizza box, there was literally half a tomato on my pizza. Who would have thought $2 could buy HALF a tomato? For east coast pizza, it was pretty good, but the price was horrible for what they provided.

Fuhgeddaboudit--Rebutal
Sparksdude, get real man and wake up. You may have lived on an island, but it wasn't Long Island, Ny, otherwise you wouldn't have written such a bogus review. Reno-Sparks has finally satisfied its craving for genuine east coast cuisine. The pizza is outstanding, the only thing missing is the ground shaking from the subway passing under your feet. The Morgan's serve up REAL NY style food, complimented with the atmosphere and personality that you would expect from an east coast pizzeria. I am from Queens, NY, and having lived there and on the east coast for 25 years, this is as good as it gets. Thanks to Todd and his crew for bringing a slice of the east to the west. A+

Fuhgeddaboudit!
I grew up on Long Island, spent 18 years eating NY pizza. This stuff might look like it, but it doesn't taste like it at all. Some people say the water in NY is key, but I wasn't looking for true authenticity, just some good pizza. The crust might be the classic thin, but it's half-burnt, too. We ordered extra cheese and paid extra dough for it, but it still wasn't even as much as a normal pizza should have. It swims in grease, and the flavor is bland. I saw all the good reviews and thought it might've been a bad day (everybody has 'em) so I went back a second time- they screwed up our order, same greasy, burnt crust and barely there cheese. On top of that, the owners were brassy and rude, not just to us but another customer that was there at the same time. Maybe things have gone downhill or something, but I wanted to love this place's pie, and I'd never go again.\r\r^ ""chopper637"", why the need for a personal attack? Yeah, I grew up on LI who would lie about that?? I went and paid my money like anyone else, and tried the pizza here twice. I did not like it. If that's a ""bogus"" review to you, then OK, but in my opinion the guy who's apparently on a first name basis with the owner is pretty suspect. Sure you're not from NJ?...
