I bought a TV from Sears but later joined the Marines. During that time I had to put the TV in storage and had to wait 3 years before I had the opportunity to get it out of storage and bring it to my duty station in another state. When I finally got it, it didn't work. It took me 2 months to find a suitable date and time that a TV repair could be scheduled with Sears due to my stringent/unpredictable work schedule. On the day it was scheduled, I waited several hours and no one showed up. I called to tell them and they had no explanation for why the repair technician didn't show up. Their technicians are required to let them know if they are running late or behind but no explanation was given. Sears apologized and said a technician would call me the next day and reschedule. The next day, no one called. They also would not service me on a Saturday. So I called Video Vision and they were willing to come out right away, AND they service on Saturday and Sunday for much cheaper than Sears! Sears did not live up to the service they promised and were unwilling to accommodate me to rectify it. They were a HUGE waste of my time. Thanks for nothing Sears!
