simply: 1. made a reservation for Thanksgiving holiday week/weekend 3 weeks prior 2. sent vaccination info via email. received no confirmation. called myself to confirm receipt. 3. called the morning of arrival around 11:00 am to confirm again. (they had not done this) 4. had full conversation w/ them about my dog's arrival; confirmed what I needed to bring etc. 5. during this same call told them my kids would be dropping off my dog around 1pm or so 6. called them 3 times @ 1:15 to tell them kids were close - no answer 7. called all the way until 2:45 - no answer; kids knocked on windows and doors.. no answer 8. THEY HAD CLOSED EARLY 9. TO RECAP: They did not tell me at the time the reservation was made that they were closing early. They did not tell me when I called to confirm receipt of the vaccinations they were closing early. They did not tell me when I called the day of the reservation to confirm my dog's arrival that they were closing early. RUDE. INCONSIDERATE. UNPROFESSIONAL. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY PUT ME IN A BIND AS MY FAMILY AND I WERE HEADING OUT OF TOWN FOR 3 DAYS FOR THANKSGIVING. IF I COULD I WOULD LEAVE -5 STARS... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

My two cockatiels were patients of Dr. Bracie for approximately five years. Dr. Bracie and his staff have been great until about a year ago, when he hired another helper to work. Since then, they cut me off my bird's medicine (metacam)or else pay $195 for a visit. My bird has two broken legs and since I moved to the suburbs, I can't bring him for visits. I called to get metacam two days ago (I order metacam every 6 months), and was told initially that there would be a $95 charge. I agreed. The next day, that became $195, and since I became disabled, I cannot afford that. Chateau Animalia abandoned my bird immediately without any notice. I have had my cockatiel for 16 years. These people don't care about your pet. Be careful.

I was blown away by how rude the staff was especially James as noted in other reviews. The first experience they charged over a $1,000 dollars without permission just to tell us our dog needed to see someone else because they couldn't perform procedure telling my girlfriend the dog was close to dying. The other place just hooked dog to Ivs etc very simple procedures they could have performed. The next time our dog was staying in there hotel I went to pick up the dog for her I was told by James twice to wait 5 minutes which was very rude considering I was patiently waiting and he was with a customer. Then as soon as I took a seat, with an attitude he asked what I was waiting for, I told him I was going to wait 5 minutes and than pick up my girlfriends dog . He had the nerve to say no dogs were being picked up for the day, all the time neglecting the lady he was talking to at the counter running the same spell of charges I've heard before. Why was he continuing to tell me over and over I was going to have to wait 5 minutes when I hadn't said anything, very weird and rude when he had 1 customer ahead of me. This was all in early hours so the need for him to be rude and dramatic was completely unessesary all he had to do was phone my girl the dog was already paid for. It's not like I arrived 5 minutes until closing even if I did the customer service still needs to be there. Terrible experience.

Our lab Sebastian was sick and we drove past Chateau Animalia on the way home from another vet. We called and Dr. Bracy and his assistant made a house call to examine him. They performed acupuncture and gave him a series of injections which gave Sebastian a boost of energy. Over the next month, Dr. Bracy made a number of house calls to see Sebastian and was very comforting and reassuring. We all knew that Sebatian was very ill but Dr. Bracy did not pressure us to put Sebastian down. Unfortunately Sebastian passed in February because of a brain tumor. In July we got a kitten, Ernesto. Ernesto is now Dr. Bracy's patient and has received the same excellent care. Dr. Bracy and his staff are very kind, personable and knowledgeable. I recommend them highly!

I had my first visit with my Cat who had a bad case of worms a few days ago. I never take her to the vet because they always peer pressure me to get a rabies vaccine and my cat has had two severe life threatening reactions to it, but since she was ill, I had no choice. Dr. Bracy and Jillian told me I had an option to do a rabies titer to test my cat's immunity to the rabies virus instead of having to do the vaccine and that had immediately put my mind at ease. They were so nice and understanding of my concerns and really took the time to explain my options to me. They treated her worms and because they were so understanding and caring, I allowed them to give my cat Destiny two vaccines. They gave her some type of injection to help prevent an allergic reaction. It's been three days since my visit with them, and my cat's worms are gone ,and she has not had any reaction to her vaccines. I will go to them from now on. I wish all vet clinics would have the same caring doctors and staff. I didn't feel pressured to do something I couldn't afford. I tell everyone I meet with a pet to go here. Thank you Chateau Animalia.

Had a wonderful tour and first visit for my dog. Doctor Bracy and staff, Jasmine, we're thorough and patient. My very anxious dog was a lot less stressed with them than elsewhere. Examination was thorough and tailored to my dog. Impressive equipment at the facility. We will likely board there, as well. Signed, S. Davis and Piedmont

When you have an ailing pet, friendly and compassionate care are priceless. Dr. Bracy and his team do just that. If you're looking for a vet with great 'bed side manner,' visit Dr. Bracy. He becomes a friend to both you and your pet.

Dr. Bracy is an incredible vet. My dog Luke came to him with his lower torso paralyzed from a blown disc. One session and Luke was able to support weight on his hind legs. After 4 months of therapy Luke is walking and can almost run. Can not recommend enough. Thank You for all that you did for us.

I switched vets because I didn't feel I was getting personalized treatment at my current vet. At Chateau Animalia, the entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Bracy really took his time with my dog and got to know him.

We are from Ohio and we needed to board our 3 dogs for a day in Atlanta. We have 2 German Shepherds and a pitbull and needed a nice safe place for them. Chateau Animalia was just amazing. Dr Bracy and Carmen made us feel so good about leaving our dogs. They are very nice, kind, and professional. I will use Chateau when we're in the area again. Wonderful people and Rusty, Jake, & Dillon can attest to that!!!

My 14 year old cat was very sick during Christmastime and we thought he wouldn't make it. We took him to Chateau Animalia and he received the best and most personal care ever! Dr. Bracy and his staff were compassionate and treated my cat with dignity and great care. They literally saved his life by treating him with fluids, various meds and giving us an at-home medicine to give him each day. Dr. Bracy called me at home, sometimes after hours, to check on my cat and went out of his way to show concern and kindness. I think very highly of Chateau Animalia and would recommend it to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable and kind-hearted vet and staff!

We took our dog Parker here for her first time being boarded in November. She's a pretty shy dog (we got her from a shelter in March) that wouldn't like the group style of boarding that is so popular around town. She had the best time at Chateau Animalia! When we brought her in, they had her room (complete with TV, bed, and water) all ready for her. We were able to play with her in and outside the room before we had to leave, which was really nice. We also added on a bath to her boarding stay. Parker has never been able to handle a bath at Petsmart because of her nervousness, so I let the staff at Chateau know that she's never been able to do it anywhere else, and it's possible she might get too scared. They were very receptive to this. To our surprise, when we returned to pick Parker up, she was bathed and happy! Now we use Chateau for our grooming and vet services as well. Their prices are really reasonable and they have monthly coupons on their website. Since this is our first dog, we're so happy to have found a place like this that takes such good care of her! We would highly recommend Chateau Animalia.

This full service veterinary and rehab center is the best!! After having a stroke 9 weeks ago, our dog has made an almost total recovery. This is due to the physical rehabilitation done by Dr. Bracy, Kristina, Lisa and others. Two other dogs of ours had dental there and their teeth are now beautiful and so clean!! We highly recommend Chateau Animalia for everything your pups need. The Nortons
