First time I tried out Terrell HVAC. Jim came out with another technician to conduct a winter system check (2 systems). While I can't judge them on a "trouble" call, I can say they conducted a professional job in checking out both systems. And again, they were very timely and prompt. They even arrived a little before the appointed time! I look forward to checking out Jim's company and services when we really need them!

I called late on Sunday when I realized my A/C wasn't cooling the house. Jim was able to accommodate my schedule and come on Monday during my lunch hour. They were quick and easy and got the A/C unit sorted out quickly - even though we had to venture to the roof of my building. Would definitely recommend their services.

We called Terrell HVAC on a Thursday evening after our AC stopped working. They came out that night and diagnosed the problem and came back in a timely fashion the following day to replace our AC unit. Along the way, it was discovered that the builders of our house had done several things improperly, and there were other issues that needed attention before our AC would run properly or efficiently. Despite it being busy season, Jimmy and Aric were at our house for the better part of 3 days fixing the problem and getting our home cool again. We have an infant and the guys were determined to fix our AC as fast as possible for the baby. Many issues came up along the way that were out of their control and they dealt with them in a fair and professional manner. Our house is now cooler and more efficient than ever. We would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I had an older A/C unit at a rental property go out yesterday. I called and spoke to Jimmy. He was able to get onsite today and breath life back in to this system without costing an arm and a leg. He called to discuss what he found and explained the costs involved before doing any work. His invoice showed exact costs for time and material, leaving no ambiguities. This is the third time I've used Terrell Heating and Air in the past 3 months and have had excellent results each time.

My A/C broke down about last week, and I needed a service quick because I have guests staying at my home. I called him up and he was able to fix my A/C on the same day. He clearly explained to me what was wrong, and he fixed it within an hour so i don't have to pay extra hour for his service. Overall I am satisfied with his service.

On May 4th, Jim Terrell installed a YORK 3 TON unit with Evaporator Coil. Today, Jonathan of Cool Masters came to perform Preventive Maintenance on all my units. Jonathan found the following defects: 1. A 3 ton unit was installed when the original unit was a 2 1/2 unit. 2. The evaporator coil should have had a "piston" or "TXV Valve" installed and it was not. 3. Jim put too much freon in one of my units. THE SOLUTION: 1. I have to either get a brand new unit or new ductwork to accommodate the higher degree of air flow from the larger a/c unit. 2. Since I can't afford a new unit and Jim Terrell is not refunding my money or returning my calls, I have to install a TXV valve that will help subdue the higher rate of air flow. 3. I have to pay for excavation of the extra freon that Jim put in one of my a/c units so that it runs more efficiently. Jim Terrell is a SCAM ARTIST.... Contact Cool Masters at 678-407-7857 for any and all of your air-conditioning and heating needs...and they have a cool product called SprayFoam for your attic that I am getting installed in the next few months.

Jim Terrell has a home grown business like me! I was totally stoked that he came out on a Sunday to repair my air conditioner. It was a really hot day, and I was really pleased with the level of service he provided. You know when the owner comes to your house on a Sunday, you've called the right people.

Terrell quite literally saved the lives of me and my family. We are new homeowners and new to Atlanta, so we were at a loss as to who to call to perform what we thought would be some routine preventative maintenance on our heating system that the previous owners had just installed in 2009. Jim Terrell, the owner of Terrell Heating and Air, personally answered our call and made the service visit. As he was thoroughly explaining each part and pipe, he noticed that our carbon monoxide exhaust was disconnected, meaning the "silent killer" was just pouring out under our house and seeping in through the floors. He asked if any of us had experienced watery, itchy eyes, stomach issues, or other ailments, and I said that ALL of us had. We thought something was wrong with us or the house, but we couldn't ever figure it out. Our child's doctor said that had this not been discovered, he could have died from prolonged and continuous exposure. Thank you Jim!

Initially we had concerns regarding a negative review which the owner fully explained to our satisfaction. Total experience was fantastic. We got a great deal on a new furnace and the installation was expedited due to an impending cold front. During installation they noticed a potential electrical problem and fixed it . Installers were polite and efficient and they cleaned up nicely when finished. I would highly recommend this firm!

Jimmy Terrell, of Terrell Heating & Air, saved us thousands of dollars when both are outside a/c units were damaged by a lightning strike or massive power surge. Once he determined that the units could not be repaired he replaced them right away. I didn't know that an event like that could be covered under our home owner insurance. But he worked for a couple weeks with the insurance company to make sure they covered our claim!
