Best vet ever, 6/23/2010

I think this Hospital is wonderful. They are so clean and the staff is great. My dog was very ill and being 12 years old we thought that we would have to make that decision. But Dr. Davidson did... some test put him on fluids and now he is happier than ever. I love that place.

love baring animai hospital

My dog has been going here ever since he was 7 weeks old. Weather its a checkup, sprained paw or upset stomache, all of the staff treat my dog with so much love and tlc. In fact he loves going to the vet. We've have mainly seen Dr. Davidson and have had nothing but very positive experiences. He always ends the visit by holding my dog (who's a pug) and giving him some hugs and kisses! To cute! When we leave all the girls at the front desk say bye to my dog! I would recommend baring animal hospital to anyone looking for a vet!

Reno Redhead

I've taken all of my dogs here for years. The vets and staff are knowledgeable and all of them clearly love animals. Last Dec. a Fed-Ex driver threw a clearly marked box of brownies over the fence to my three waiting dogs. When I went out an hour later to find all three dogs gathered around 'something' I walked up to see what it was. Knowing chocolate is toxic to dogs I called the vet at Baring and told him what happened. He said to bring the dogs in right away. I reminded him I had an hour drive in and it was Friday, close to five PM, on a holiday week. He said not to worry, he'd be waiting when I got there. He could have just told me to go to the emergency vet in S.Reno, another 1/2 hr away. The vets always make sure I understand what's going on and don't rush me when I have questions. A great place to take your animals.

amazing hospital

I have been going to Baring for 5 years. Love the staff, I am always greeted with a smile. They have seen my dog since she was a pup and I cannot think of a place safer where I know that she will be getting the absolute BEST care available. All of the Doctors are knowledgeable in their fields, and I know every time I bring Daisy in she is in good hands.

Be Aware if your pet is being treated here,.

Ifr you take your pet to Baring Boulevard animal hospital, make sure you ask for Dr. Leautier or Dr. Luikart. I have personally experience their professonal care of my pets and they are excellent.\r\rIf your pet should be put on any kind of medication, check the dosage, especially is it is metronidazole and it is over 150 ml per day. My pet was overdosed by a vet at Baring because he placed a 1 year old Shih-tzu weighing less than 15lbs. on 500 mg per day for 14 days. She died in my arms in April and I have yet to receive an apology or acknowlegdement from the vet that killed my love one.\r\rAlso be aware, if you board there. Make sure you put in writing how your pet is to be fed and definitely, if you mix canned with dry, have them notate your record what you brought with your pet. They do not keep records and it is impossible to find out what your pets were fed, when and how much.\r\rIf you have had any problems with loosing a pet while in their care or being treated by this hos
