Tex is a lifesaver -- my DIY skills turned out to be severely lacking, and he swooped in and saved the day with his master electrician skills. He came to my house last minute and kept at a bathroom rewiring job that day until it was finished, even though the scope of the job turned out to be far greater than I'd described it. I've lived in ATL almost 7 years and really wish I'd found him sooner! I can't recommend him enough -- he did great work making sense of my 1939 cottage's antique wiring and bringing it back to life.

Tex showed up on time and spent a couple of hours installing several light fixtures as well as hanging racks in a bathroom. He was pleasant, efficient and did a good job all the way around. And his rates are great. I'd highly recommend him.

I've learned the hard way that electrical work can be expensive and daunting. Finding Tex took all those fears away. He is reliable, friendly, fair-priced, and fast. You can trust him to do a great job. I have an old house that needed the electrical panel to be properly updated for the first time since it was built! Tex came in and got the job done under budget. I'll be calling him for help in the future, and I recommend his services.

Tex came to my newly bought house and I had a lot of electrical and plumbing that needed to be done. Not only was he able to fix both, but knowing when my move in date was, he worked extra hours and over the weekend to make sure that I was able to have everything working before I moved in to the house. He is such a nice person to work with and he is able to fix so much (even a few items that were not related to electrical or plumbing but that were such a great help at the house!) Also, he has a guarantee on his parts and work but knowing the quality of his work, I don't anticipate having any problems. Several of my neighbors already have used him to fix a few items around his house. I highly recommend him! He is very friendly and reliable.

We just moved into a new home and needed some help installing our gas dryer and washing machine. (not too mention help too on the workings of another appliance) Turned out our gas tube was kinked and we lost the h/c water hoses too. Tex hooked us right and took care of the job. We'll definitely be calling Tex back to home to do other jobs and enjoy his conversation.

I hired Tex for what I thought would be a simple fix of the toilet, however, he took the extra time to get in there to find out and fix what the real problem was instead of just putting a "band aid" on it. He also made a point of letting me know what the situation was at all steps so I could make informed decisions. Tex is friendly, informative, resourceful, professional, and very handy. I will be calling him again for any other jobs I need done.

We had Tex come over to our house to install 4 complex lighting systems, some through a brick wall, some with outdoor underground lighting. When it comes to a master electrician, you want Tex. He is honest and thorough (takes pride in his work) at a fair price. His communication from start to finish was clear and punctual. I was a little nervous initially working with a contractor that charges by the hour, but when you meet Tex, you can be assured that he is going to set the expectation up front in terms of the scope of the project, and then deliver quality work. I now trust Tex with all of our home maintenance, plumbing, air conditioning, you name it...I definitely trust Tex and look forward to having a long standing relationship with him. He's a skilled man, but more importantly a good man. Now I know why they call him the Homeowner's Friend.

I had need of an electrician and I found Tex. He was on time, very professional and, answered all my questions. There was no surprise at the end on the price. I was very concerned about pricing and his pricing was excellent. He took care of what I called him out for, as well as took care of other things I needed that very same day. Tex is reliable, efficient, and honest. I will definitely use him again. Great work, great price, definitely will hire him again.

Tex did quality work but he is not cheap. In addition to the hourly rate there is also a "service charge." He also tried to charge for a full 4 hours of work when it was only 3.5 hours, and 1 hour of that was to go buy some materials--why it took 1 hour to buy some materials is totally unreasonable. And he did not present the receipt for the materials he bought, but instead charged a ridiculously high price for materials on his invoice. So, while the work was good quality, you had better be prepared for the extra costs.
