Thieves, 12/22/2014

They claim the service call is $45. Technician came out to fix a bathroom leak dripping into the ceiling below, took 5 minutes to determine water was coming from behind the shower tiles, they said... they don't do tile work, so I expected to pay $45 for the service call fee, instead the technician went around the house claiming other problems needed to be fixed completely unrelated to what I called them for, and attempted to charge me $2200 to repair them. When I told them I don't want any of it, they changed the trip charge to $150 for this nightmare and nothing was fixed!! Stay away from these people, don't let them step in your house, they will never leave and charge you terribly for it.

Great job and value, 12/21/2014

They installed a hot water circulator, fixed the water temp in one bath, and tightened up a loose faucet. They were very efficient and priced well.

Outstanding

Late on a Sunday afternoon, we had a septic system clog & a tank that required pumping, sludge removal, additional digging, risers & caps, some hydro, front & rear baffle and, finally, a bit of chemical treatment. Our septic tank turned out to be right underneath a garden we had just landscaped with a fountain that requires Bobcat-type equipment to dismantle & move. Anthony & Greg got to our house @ about 6pm. After locating the tank, a very detailed discussion about what was needed ensued. I expected them to say that the extensive amount of work required would have to wait until morning...But, NO, they were at our home until midnight! They expertly, meticulously and kindly got us up and running. Unbelievable. There really is a Santa Claus--he looks a lot like Anthony & Greg ;) Ps. They returned Monday afternoon to cover the tank, clean up & help put the fountain back together! Perhaps there is also a Tooth Fairy...

Polite but did not get full disclosure on pricing

First off everyone we dealt with was polite and professional. I called about the $159 tank pump special. Never was I told that this was for a certain amount and that any amount over that would have an additional charge. My husband was told this after the work was completed and it was time for payment to be collected. We were expecting to pay $159 and ended up paying $359. That is bait and switch at its finest.

oh no. dont let septic overflow

I was overdue for septic work so I called pink plumber and was pleased they sent someone out same day I called. Nick and his helper. Not old saint nick but close. He fixed lines that were in bad shape from all the sludge and pumped out rest and offered suggestions on how to avoid future problems. Big nick even played with our tiny Chihuahua which looked even smaller next to him. Thanks guys! bill testa

As promised

As promised I said I would leave a review after my service was done. They were great, no problems wonderful service. After 15 years and no pumping with a 1500 gallon tank you can expect around a $500.00 bill for services. If you pump every 3-5 years you are fine for their special. Excellent customer service from start to finish, tipped them out the door.

Car Dealership Service vs. a backyard mechanic.

On Friday, we called Pink Plumber and spoke with "Frank" (Service Manager). He explained step-by-step the service that was going to be rendered. I could hear it in his voice that he was waiting for the typical customer "rant-and-rave" response. When he finished, I simply told him, send your team out. We received phone call updates on the technician eta throughout the 4 hour window. When the technicians were delayed at another job site, they ASKED if they can reschedule us. I exercised my "rant-and-rave" option. That same day, Pink Plumber sent out GREG AUSTIN and ANTHONY BASHIR. They arrived just after sundown and worked until 11:30pm. Despite the bone chilling weather, Greg found the tank in under 5 minutes and Anthony broke ground and gained access to the covers in under 15 minutes. The rest of the time was spent cleaning and clearing the lines. While other plumbers were at home resting waiting to charge for an afterhours emergency call, Anthony and Greg, visibly tired from a long day of hard work, worked on my septic tank (and charged standard rates). When finished, Anthony restored the landscape perfectly. The term "an artist with a brush" kept resonating in my mind. I could have shopped around and found a cheap plumber (backyard mechanic) to do the job, instead, I opted for the professionals at Pink Plumber (vs.Car Dealership)! A final thought, pumping a septic tank $1.00. Knowing how to correctly and professionally do it, the remaining balance... Excellent Job!

Very Disappointed

I chose the Pink Plumber because I heard them advertised on a station I deem to be reputable & they give back to charity. I called because of a leak in my bathroom. The employee showed up, tested the pressure on my water heater and told me right away that I needed a new pressure regulator. He walked into my bathroom, looked at the two leaky faucets and without touching them, told me they needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote for almost $1400 to replace the regulator and the two faucets. When I asked what the pressure reading was, he told me he couldn't really get one because of the leak. Although I was very shocked at the prices, I asked to schedule the repairs for the following weekend. I was told I would need to pay some money up front so they could buy the parts for the faucets. I had intended to get a second opinion during that time because the prices seemed so high and if the 2nd estimate was in line with the 1st, I would proceed. Once I was told I had to pay some money up front for them to buy the parts, I was completely turned off. I had already been getting a feeling of pressure to make a committment that day and after the ask for money down, we decided to part ways for the $45 trip charge. I called another plumber who tried to fix the leaky faucets before determining the parts needed to be replaced. They fixed the faucets for parts and labor totaling $100. No pressure regulator needed. Very disappointed in my experience with the Pink Plumber

A Biz that Gives Back to Breast Cancer Awareness

I really appreciate this company. They were very professional, answered any questions we had prior to doing the work. The men did a step by step analysis by showing us through the use of their camera what problems they saw prior to doing any kind of work. The cost of waiting longer would have presented a major backup of our septic system. The company had an in-house payment plan which was very helpful to our budget. They included in their price a cleaner to add to our septic system once the job was completed. Overall we were very happy with this company and they were hundreds of dollars cheaper than any other companies' quotes.

Most Prompt, effecient and Friendly

I had a septic tank back up three days before I was going in for major surgery. A friend told me they heard good things about the Pink Plumber so I called them. They were out that same day (in 29 degree weather) and worked past dark to get the waste water out. Then they worked all day the next to finish the project neatly. Greg Austin and Anthony Bashir, had the most amazing work ethic, very pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. I will definitely refer them to anyone needed plumber service.

Best Plumbing Experience Ever!

Jack Garland, plumber extraordinaire! He is professional, knowledgeable, and a perfectionist! From the first call into their office, up to and including the completion of the work ... All facets of this transaction were great. The arrival timeframe was precise; the quote for the service and the anticipated amount of time to finish the job were letter perfect! Don't forget to login and show the plumber their $50.00 coupon? Look no further! You've landed where you need to be! Very satisfied customer, L. D. Tanner Atlanta, GA

Had an issue with a water heater in a rental property. The heater had not been installed to code. Paul came in and made the water heater up to code and was efficient on time and in a reasonable price. I would recommend Pink Plumber for your plumbing needs.

Great service and ON TIME!

Great service! Office folks were great and the plumber communicated well. Arrive when they said he would and clearly communicated the issue and what it would take to solve the problem. Had to request more equipment and a second person to correct the problem. Gave timely up dates and stayed till the problem was solve. Was not as costly as expected and corrected the price down to reflect the new new cost. He could have charged the original price and we certainly would not have known.
