PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT
My daughter, myself and her mother in law to be, along with 2 of the 6 bridesmaids went to look at wedding gowns. my daughter found a dress on the rack and her eyes lit up and she said ""this is the dress"" when she put the dress on she looked beautiful almost like the princess that she is( to me and her father anyway). Well we decided to order the dress and proceded to order the dress and I put 60% down on the dress in good faith thinking that the measurements were right( I am no seamstress and do not sew or even know how to measure for a dress or anything). Well when they ordered the dress they ordered a size 6. my daughter has never been a size 6 and wears a size 9. She took her bridesmaids to another store to look for dresses and asked the salesperson at the other salon about the size difference in her dress because when she measured my neice for a bridesmaid dress she ordered her a size 4 and she wears a size 00. the salesperson told her to go back to the bridal store and get measured again. Well this time we met the owner (linda), what a piece of work, I can't believe this woman stays in business the way she treats people. We told her of our concern that the dress was ordered too small and could she re-measure my daughter, well when she did the measurements were different than before and she said my daughter gained 2 inches around her waist in less that 2 months. my daughter had lost about 12 lbs in the meantime. I asked for my money back at that time and she refused. Linda was so rude and nasty with us and told us the dress was not even a wedding dress that it was a debutante dress. She asked us to wait until the dress came in and go from there. She would order another dress if the first one didn't fit. I said ""no"" if the dress doesn't fit when it comes in I want my money back. I said why not just give me the money back since she would be stuck with the dress that didn't fit and stated she could ""put the dress that didn't fit on the rack and sell it to a d

Horrible customer service and rude owners
Horrible wedding experience. They kept telling us we owed balances when it was paid off. The dress wasn't ready when it was supposed to be picked up. They said it was because it needed steamed one last time, but in reality, it wasn't ready for pick up.

We received a call on the way to the rehearsal dinner telling us there was still a balance due. In retrospect, wouldn't have paid it because of the terrible service.

The owners Linda and a male who doesn't give his name don't care about the customers and will absolutely not take any type of feedback. He repeatedly just yelled "Are you going to pay the balance or not?" when feedback about the employees who don't know what they are doing was trying to be delivered.

They even tried to spin it back that all of the girls and the bride were the difficult ones. From the many bad reviews, it's clear it's not a customer issue.

North Allegheny girls should beware before shopping here for prom dresses or you may be sorry.

Whey they wouldn't accept the feedback, we told him we'd find other ways to share negative experience with people and he threatened us by saying "if you do, I'll get you back."

Ranked quality as high as the dress was beautiful, but they didn't make it, they merely order and deliver it.
DO NOT PARTRONIZE THIS PLACE.

What fun!
I walked into One Enchanted Evening just to simply try on wedding dresses and get ideas for what I wanted. At this point my tastes were all over the boardsparkles? ruffles? lace? I couldn't put a finger on exactly what I envisioned. And I didn't call before and make an appointment. (you should always do that)I was immediately greeted and when I told her that I didn't have an appointment, she first offered to squeeze me in before her next appointment . I knew that wasn't going to work, so she then offered another appointment later where we had more time. But she took every minute before her next appointment to just chat and let me look around the store. When I came back, I was disappointed that the woman who greeted me earlier wasn't doing my consultation. The woman working with me now at first followed me around the floor suggesting dresses. But she immediately picked up that I wanted to look on my own (i didn't have to say anything) and let me know that we would start with 5 dresses. I limited myself to 5 dresses and headed back to the fitting room where she had pulled 5 more dresses as her suggestions. Now, I know what I want to look like and didn't really communicate with her what I envisioned as I couldn't put it into words, so I was worried about the selections she had pulled for me to try. But let me tell you, in the end I choose one of the dresses she picked (!!!!!!!) I was treated like a VIP. I have never been in the store before. I had so much fun with all the women I talked to. They were friendly and helpful and honest and downright sweet. I had a roomful of dresses (and if you have ever tried on dresses you know how much work it is!) and I asked to bustle every dress I had on and asked for a veil to see what it would look like. The wonderful woman who helped me, picked out a different veil for each dress and enthusiastically helped me into and out of every dress.some even twice because I couldn't decide. I had a wonderful time at one enchanted eveni...

What a Horrible Shopping Experience!!
My daughter was going to her first prom and my wife took her out looking for dresses. They found one that they liked and purchased it and we were told it would be approx $40.00 for Alterations. When they went back for the alterations (The dress fit fine) they pinned it for the hemming and the seamstess said that they should take it in just a little bit. The cost was not $40.00 but $110.00 (we should have taken the dress and have another seamstress do the work) Two weeks before the prom they went out to pick up the dress and the dress was entirely too tight and the front of the dress was longer than the back. The seamstress said she would fix it. They went back again and it still was too tight and the hemming was the same. The seamstress was not there. They said they would fix it and my wife called to see if the dress was ready and they said it was so my wife asked if they were open on Sunday and if the seamstress woudl be there and they said they were(even though it was Mother;s Day). The shop called my daughter on Saturday and she told them that we would be out the next day and they said they were open 12 - 5. When we got there there was a sign on the door - closed for Mothers day. My wife and daughter went out on Monday and there was no apology and the dress still did not fit. We said we wanted the dress fixed and we would be there on Wednesday and wanted to see the owner (Linda) and the seamstress. (The Prom was on Friday of that week) When we went out on Wednesday the dress fit her but the hemming was still never touched. We asked for a refund of the Atteration fee and we were not given any adjustment at all. (This is why they have a F rating with the BBB). My wife had to end up hemming the dress. I wish we would have looked up the reviews before we purchased the dress they .\r\rThe service is horrible and the Owner does not care!!\r\rDON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!!

Horrific Customer Service
I have had two bad experiences at this store now. The first of which was when I was shopping for a bridal gown. When I put the gown on, I liked it. (which has nothing to do with the store but the designer). The consultant said ""that is your gown!! You have to order it now, if we wait one more day, it will not be here on time"". She also told me that because of my bust size, i should order one size large, and 8, or the dress wouldn't fit. The designer was Sottero and Midgley. I went to another store, one week later, and was told that the Sottero and Midgley dresses take six months, not EIGHT as One Enchanted Evening told me, and that i was a perfect size six - and i was shown the designer's size card to prove it. I ended up getting my dress from Bridal Beginings, and had minimal alterations (One Enchanted evening would have had to alter the whole thing -thus making money) AND had the dress in plenty of time. \rthat is why they REFUSE TO LET YOU TAKE PICTURES and they WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE DRESS DESIGN NUMBER!! its unreal. I have never heard of such insanity. Every other store i shopped at ENCOURAGED us to do both!!\rThey know you can find it at a better store. And when i was trying my dress on, the consultant was rude and pushy, and did not listen to what i wanted. She had my head covered in $400 worth of swarovsky crystals and i ended up at my wedding with a flower in my hair - that is what i wanted. She was a total nut. \rI was recently shopping again for bridesmaid dresses with my friend. She took a picture to send to her mother, who was not there, and was yelled at!!! THEN they would not give us the design number but we became detectives. And guess what?? \rI was told i was the wrong size again. \rAnd we just found the dress online in NEW YORK CITY for forty dollars cheaper. NoW i ask you why is a dress in Wexford priced higher than the same one in such a large, notoriously high priced city?? \rThese things i cannot explain. There is no excuse for the way ...
