Called Reliance for AC service last night. "Shane" said he'd have me on the schedule first thing in the morning. called to confirm and was told they couldn't make it for 3 more days. So I called Cool-Ray, they'll be here in a couple hours.

Called Thursday 7-14 was told I had an approx 12:00 appt for Friday. Waited at home all day Friday and was given complete run around about when the technician would arrive. He never did. Then was told he would be here at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Wasn't here so I called at 8:45 was told he would be here within the hour. I am writing this at 11:00 a.m. and I still haven't heard a darn thing from anyone. Oh I have heard lies about when someone is coming but that is it. No respect for my time and no ability to tell the truth. BEWARE!

I have used Reliance Heating & Air Conditioning in Conyers for 20 years for my HVAC. I am located in Alpharetta. They service all of metro Atlanta. My elderly Mother's A/C went out last week. Reliance was out quickly when I told them the homeowner was 83 years old. After discovering the compressor had gone, I informed their technician, Robbie, that my Mother is on a very limited income. He went to work trying to find her a reasonably priced replacement. He spent alot of time on this and was genuinely concerned about her. The owner had him replace the A/C unit and I am sure they didn't end up making a dime on this service. There are few companies that actually care and I and my Mother are forever grateful to them. This is an honest and hardworking bunch of people. I will use them for my service work forever. Give them a try. I know you will be pleased.

I have been a customer of Reliance for over 22 years. Scott was my service technician from the beginning and I really enjoyed the honesty he always displayed. Scott has temporarily moved to another assignment so I was a little concerned when a new service tech was coming to do my annual heating inspection. I am pleased to say that John was great. He arrived on time and did not suggest any unnecessary repairs. First floor heating system was 22 years old. Unfortunately, two weeks after the inspection the blower failed. I called Reliance and spoke to John and they did not try to up sell me on my needs. They asked a simple question on "how long do I plan to live in the house?" In turn, they suggested the most economical system based on my needs. Given that the unit was 22 years old, it was time for a new furnace. I subsequently purchased a new furnace and also added a humidifier and air cleaner. All were installed on time and at a very fair price. The only time a homeowner really needs help with an air conditioner or furnace is when there are problems not when everything is running smoothly. Knowing that you have a company you can depend on when it is "crunch" time is worth everything. Not fun when it is too hot or too cold in the house and the family is complaining. This is when an inscrutable heating and air company will take advantage of the home owner. It is important to develop a relationship with a reputable company so when you need them they are there.

We were having problems cooling our home so we contacted Reliance. They came and discovered that the unit we had was to small for our home. Once our new unit was installed they called several weeks later to make sure that everything was going okay. They have fabulous customer service and are very prompt on getting you scheduled quickly and at a time that is convenient for you. We love Reliance and will continue to use them in the future.

Tech came out for semi annual service and used scare tactics to try and sell 2 new heater unit replacements. Brought in a family friend who is in the HVAC business and found that units are perfectly fine. $3k nearly wasted. Must be trying to make their end of year sales quota. Stay away.

My upstairs AC went out. I thought I was going to need to spend a few thousand dollars to replace. Jeff from Reliance showed up, did a complete analysis of my system and determined that I only needed a part replaced. Total cost was pennies compared to my original estimate. Thank you Reliance. I will call you again.

I recently purchased a new home in Suwanee, and my builder (Beazer) had used reliance to install the AC/heating unit. The AC stopped blowing cool air after 1 year (just outside of the warranty). Turns out, the installer (Reliance) had not installed the required brass caps on the freon mechanism, allowing the freon to escape. This in turn, caused the ac to become unable to cool the air it was blowing into the home.
