* By Appointment Only
Things change with ownership changes. We have been using WCAH for over 15 yrs. We have multiple, healthy pets. We go to the vet for sick visits, not for routine, maintenance services.

We have been taking our dogs to Winters Chapel since 1981 (just shy of 30 years!) and would never go anywhere else! The Doctors and entire staff are a critical part of our goal to keep our dogs happy and healthy (not to mention spoiled rotten)! Needless to say over time, we have had our share of dealing with difficult illnesses with our dogs that really put your relationship, faith and trust in your vet to the test! Without exception, every time Drs. Nachamkin and Silverman go above and beyond in their handling of our dog's care and illness with impeccable care (not to mention dealing with our emotional breakdowns with care and understanding). If you need a vet head to Winters Chapel or Companion Animal Hospitals!

Just like "Cheers," this is the type of place where after a couple of visits, everyone knows your name--and your pets' names. The front office staff is great, and there's very little turnover, which tells you that it must be a decent place to work. They always fit me in when my cats have a problem, and the charges are reasonable. The vets are kind and competent; a treatment by Dr. Nachamkin solved a problem my sister's dog was having after previous treatments by other vets hadn't helped.

Winters Chapel and their 2nd office, Companion Animal Hospital, are the only vet offices I take my cats and foster kittens to. Dr. N especially. Being a vet had to have been a calling for him. He just relates so well to the animals. He never gives up on the animal. They have taken care of over 41 foster cats and kittens and my own cats for me over the past 10 years and even saved the life of one of my foster kittens. They have even grieved with me when we lost a kitten or had to put one to sleep because of an incurable illness. You will not find better care, or a more caring vet in the metro area.

This clinic is asbolutely the best and without a doubt worthy of 10 stars in every category. I sit here surrounded by 72 young years of my dog children, 5 dogs and by the way, it's 72 people years. They did not get this far, healthy, and happy without the expertise of Dr. Nachamkin and Dr. Silverman! They're the best!!! We love 'em and only wish we were one of our dogs or cats so we could get the same great care!

Do not go to this animal hospital, this animal hospital does not care about the health of their patients. This animal hospital does not care about which of their clients’ reputation gets screwed and damaged. This is a bad animal hospital and I do not recommend that you take your pet here. They have extremely lousy service and have extremely terrible business practices.

This neighborhood clinic is convenient and gives good service, from physician care as needed to just bathing your pet. The staff seems to care that you came to them, and the doctors are very proficient in their care of your beloved pet.

The two vets here are very thorough with their exams of my dog. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. Their prices of medication were also lower than the other larger vet I was using. I also liked the vet assistants here, they were great with the animals. (Gentle)
