I had a knee replacement by a Resurgens doctor who screwed it up in two ways. First, he put in too large a liner and second I got a staph infection in the joint. He fiddled around with 5 different antibiotics for 3 months and the infection kept getting worse. I finally suggested seeking other medical opinions and three days later "wonderful, knowledgable, skilled" Dr. John Henry operated on me, took out the knee joint, put me on IV Vanomycin for 6 weeks, 3 months later put a new knee replacement back in and I am alive to tell my story. He has also done a replacement on my other knee and I am now 100%. Thank you Dr. Henry. I recommend him to everyone I come in contact with. He is really great1!!!

I have seen pollydore under workers comp he told me there was nothing wrong but made me have a injection in my neck well it went very bad. it was so painful i laid in the floor throwing up for 2 days He refuses to do any pain management stating there is not wrong but the 2 MRIs say My shoulder is almost torn in half.AS for his coworkers that think there god. Told me they do not believe what the MRI shows or said that my shoulder in not torn just in flamed. God help anyone that has to deal with them. I suggest you run and run fast. You will suffer in pain get sent to therapy which will make the problem worse.Cause they wont fix it...I have 2 other doctors tell me My shoulder is torn bad I have been living with this crap from them for 8 months now but no more also find you a good lawyer you gonna need it

my father is almost 70-still working-fell on some stairs & hurt his back. The greeters were very nice & from there it went down hill fast. I too feel like they walk very fast-in total disregard that most people there are HURT & can't keep up. However, Dr chang was pleasant & spent avg time with my father but his support staff was terrible. They gave us a hard time when we wanted a note that would excuse him from having to pay for air line tickets purchased prior to his fall. They were VERY RUDE & actually said, "just go back in there & sit down. Hey-can you handle this because I am busy because THEY'RE BACK." that is when I had it with them. Had I not been a Christian woman I would have told them how I felt, but as I could not find a nice way, I simply kept my mouth shut & then filed a complaint. I'm very sorry that we took up so much time that they couldn't write a clear note... A NOTE! you would have thought he was trying to get narcotics! I don't care how bad your day is at your PAID JOB AS A HEALTH CARE WORKER-your day is ALWAYS going to better than that of your PATIENTS because they are PATIENTS because something is WRONG! without them you would not have a JOB!My father deserved respect-not eye rolls & rude attitudes-I am glad they mainly took it out on me-as a can take it- but to think they do that to elderly-COME ON! My father didn't want to bother them to clarify the note but I assured him they would not care- boy was a wrong! I would not take my DOG there

If you are thinking of doing business with this practice, don't expect to be welcommed with open arms. The doctors associated with Peachtree Orthopaedic are considered the best in the area and some of them have the attitude to go with it. They are not the practice for ordinary orthopaedic services. They specialize in sports injuries. Be pepared to wait hours in their waiting room. Medicare patients should not bother calling these people. I was dropped, without notice, when my doctor who I had been seeing for over seven years, decided he no longer wanted to treat those on medicare. At the same time, I was treated rudely by the person who passed the information to me. Sad to be left high and dry by someone you trusted to help you.

I fell ice skating in Jan - tore my ligaments & multiple fractures. Dr. Howard Pike is a specialist with this type thing & I chose him for my surgeon. He was great! He's a triathlete so understood where I was coming from in regard to getting back to activities. I'm 53 years old and too many people want to tell you not to do things like that at this age. He was very encouraging to continue my active lifestyle but helped make sure I paced myself for the best healing process. I also use alternative medicine (homeopathics, herbs, vitamins) and he didn't try to deter me from doing so. If he didn't know about something he said so. But when I had a better than average recovery, he said keep doing what I'm doing. I've just been released to go back to rock climbing, hiking, dancing, court sports. Because of my use of yoga & Pilates and pushing myself when I needed to but resting in the process when that was needed, I didn't require therapy. This was an ideal doctor-patient relationship for me. Remember, we have a responsibility for our own health, it's not just the doctor's job. Dr. Pike's staff was also nice to me and I have no complaints.

I went and saw Dr. York for shoulder pain he diagnosed me with hypermolity after a second opinion and a mri I have an overly large acroniom that is rubbing my rotator cuff which would only get better with surgery. Without surgery I would end up with a rotator cuff tear. I was treated without any respect and like I was a waste of time.

I used two doctors for two different injuries. The doctors were absolutely great and the x-ray technicians were very friendly. However, the reception desk people and the nurses who bring you back to the doctor are not very nice at all. The desk people (when you check in) greet you with a scowl and make you feel like you are an interruption to their day, although the ones at the check out have all been extremely friendly. The nurses who bring you back are not only very cold and impersonal, but they walk so fast, completely disregarding the fact that many people have injuries that prevent them from walking very well, or even walking at all. I was actually left behind on more than one visit. I also had problems with getting disability documentation filled out. Not only did it cost me $30 to have them fill out my paperwork (my HMO never charges me), they finished it a week too late causing me to be denied my benefits and having to file an appeal. My attempts to plead expediency were countered by a very gruff attitude by the girl filling out the paperwork. She had absolutely no sympathy for my situation whatsoever. After reading other reviews, I see that this was not an issue isolated to only me. If not for the extremely friendly and polite physician assistants, x-ray technicians, and surgeons, I would not have wanted to continue with my follow-up appointments here.

I have been not very lucky when schedulling an appointment.The first time I tried to schedule an appointement as I had a case of urgency ( my fioncee was feeling pain after being runover by a car when he was riding his bike to work) and after delaying for an hour with the insurance information, the staff told me that the first appointment available would take one month.I end up going to a private urgent care and I was seen in the minute. The second time I tried to schedule a routine appointment I got a very bad service by the people. They also did not let me schedule an appointment without making me wait for an hour as the clinic had to confirm that it was a good insurance. They didn't even ask why an appointment had been asked. Well, I end up going to another clinic that provided me similar services but with better first approach to the customer.

I went to the Peachtree-Dunwoody location and received excellent care. I only had to wait about 10 minutes past my appointment time and Dr. Schiff took time to listen to my lower back problem. He also diagnosed the problem and I am on the road to recovery! The receptionists and nurses are also very kind and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We were referred to this clinic through workers comp. I am in SEVERE pain and and can BARELY WALK but instead of trying to figure out what is the reason for my pain, the physician literally just stated that there was nothing that he could see and released me to work again. He stated that since he couldn't see anything I obviously didn't need to be on any pain meds. Once again, I will state that I am in so much pain I can BARELY WALK! His lack of ethics and professionalism is shocking and it is clear that he cares nothing about his patients.

I also had major shoulder surgery at POC. Doctor Duradle is an excellent surgeon, despite being a world-class jerk. And, like so many doctors, there's a profound absence of basic business skills. It took me over 2 months and the threat of litigation to be reimbursed after he was paid by my insurance company, and his office did nothing but make excuses and point their fingers at anyone else they could (the hospital, for example). Just getting them to help me file my claim required almost constant attention to his incompetent administrative staff. My recommendation is that -- unless you need a very special procedure that happens to be Duralde's specialty -- go somewhere else. There are literally hundreds of competent orthopedists in the metro-Atlanta area, most of whom won't treat you like dirt.

all the staff were great - from the reception desk to x-ray to the doctor. made me feel welcome and cared for. my doctor answered all my questions and took time with me each visit.

After a run-around from my HMO and another orthopedic clinic, I was referred to Dr. Doug Murray for ulnar nerve translocation surgery. Dr. Murray was very concerned about the seriousness of my condition, so much so that he called me on a Sunday to make sure I followed up with treatment. Keep up the exemplary work.
