Need to replace the cast setters, 10/26/2012

I had an arm cast applied by a male tech. that squeezed the broken bone really hard while applying it. Ended up with several pressure points, one over the wrist bone, which were very painful x 2... wks. When they changed the cast, another tech. twisted the arm quite a bit while removing it and again while applying new one. A refresher coarse in cast application technique is really needed here. Saw Dr. Reddy and was very pleased with him. The girls at the font desk spent too much time talking personal business between themselves while patients waited. Overall, the staff could use some training or replacing, but the doctor was great.

I highly recommend that if you are injured OJI be treated somewhere other than POC. The doctors when treating you through Worker's Comp do not treat you the same as they would if you were paying or... insured. I have had two surgeries there and I am so disappointed that I had to have Dr. Hal Silcox as my surgeon. If you have an appointment, expect to wait up to an hour past your appointed time. Think twice, three times, before you go to POC!

Such a headache

Being a Kaiser member we are forced to use POC. I have had 3 surgeries with them and all were a headache. Every time you go for a office visit they are at least 30 minutes to a hour behind. This time they charged me a copayment for my third post op visit plus 25 dollars and 1 week to fill out 2 pieces of paper work I needed to return to work. I would never recommend them!!!

Poor customer service

I was in severe pain with a broken foot. Thought I could "walk" in without an appointment. Didn't realize that walk-ins are Saturday only. They wouldn't even see me. Even heard one of the girls behind the desk mocking me. I had no ride. Had to make my way on crutches to Northside ER. This is not a rating of any of the doctors there which I'm sure are fine.

Do some more research

I was referred by my primary to PTree Orthopedic. I saw Dr. Chang due to a lot of pain in my neck & shoulder. He told me I was manifesting the pain & referred me to a psychiatrist!!! So insulting. He did not listen to ANYTHING I had to say. I went to Resurgeons for a second opinion, and they found a pinched nerve. I would recommend going somewhere else. It truly felt like I wasn't a large enough pay check for him to care. I have never had any doctor, who is supposed to treat you while you are in pain, treat me with the disrespect Dr. Chang did. The office and everyone else was nice, but I REFUSE to ever step foot back in that office. I even filed a complaint with my insurance.

Dr Henry is great!

I had a serious car accident and tore my PCL in my left leg. I was referred to Dr. Henry and absolutely loved him! He is so nice and made me feel completely at ease during a very physically painful time. I would recommend him to anyone needing to see an orthopaedic physician.
