I agree with everything that SRASHE1 and MEDMANSRI said. I have one good eye with 20/20 vision and the other eye is legally blind. He recaommended a procedure that would have still left my bad eye legally blind, a fact hed didn't bother to tell me, and a procedure for the good eye that simply wsn't needed, all according to other eye doctors. Its called greed. The man is a toal jerk at best definitely an egomaniac, a sociopath, an arrogant condesceneding, conceited disgrace of a doctor. I was just a broken piece of furniture with a credit card.

My name is Charlotte and Dr. Gordon removed my cataracts a couple of years ago and inserted Toric Acrysof lens. Formerly my vision was -10.00. Now I have the vision of a hawk. Two weeks ago I was looking at the stars at 11pm on the top of a riverboat in the Ukraine. The only artificial light was from the boat. I was able to see various constellations in the heavens, the Big and Little Dipper, the milkyway, Orion, and satellites creeping across the heavens. It was very exciting. I am thankful to God and to Dr. Gordan for my excellent vision.

Dr. Peter Gordon is a great doctor. I had cataract surgery in both eyes during the past couple of months and Dr. Gordon provided great pre-op care; a very positive surgical experience; and an extremely thorough and professional post-op experience. The success of my surgery was far better than I anticipated and I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Dr. Gordon. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. I would recommend him without any reservations or hesitations. He is a great doctor!!!

Dr. Gordon performed two cataract surgeries for me recently. He is very professional, thorough, pleasant and has a nice sense of humor. I am very pleased with the result and am glad I trusted my eyesight to him. I highly recommend him.

I don't care how "brilliant" this guy is, he's still a jerk. There are a lot of doctors who are both brilliant AND caring. I saw Gordon once and never went back, simply because of his rude, arrogant attitude. He's one of those doctors who thinks he's God. Stay away! There are other doctors who will treat you with dignity and respect.

**Please note that the positive reviews are years old and the negative ones are from recent months.** That said, I just left from my second experience with Dr. Gordon. I have had significant eye problems for four months, which have only gotten worse since I began going to this office. Also, of note I will mention that Dr Gordon and his collegue Dr. McDowell have told me two completely opposing opionions. Dr Gordon arrived to my 8 AM appointment at 8:50 (I heard techs in the hall saying he was not even on site until that time). He failed to apologize. I won't go into too many details, but this man was incredibly pompous and rude to me. When I asked him to explain what was wrong with me, he began to explain what a cell is to me as if I were an idiot. Since going to this doctor, I have gone from a corneal abrasion to double vision (I can barely read this screen) and intense sensitivity to light. This doctor has no empathy, as the previous reviewer stated. He simply could not have cared about me less - at least beyond my money. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go elsewhere. Not only to another doctor but to another clinic.

Being a Med School Grad, I've been to many clinics and met many Doctors. At this particular office though, after waiting for 3 hrs, the only thing that kept me sane was my wife. When asked how much longer, the nurses would say he is almost done which was about a dozen times before he actually was. Other patients and disgruntled family members said "this is how it always is here." After finally being called my name, Dr. Gordon didn't express an ounce of empathy which further infuriated my wife and I. Being the last patient of the day, I can understand his urgency but the man was planning his evening right in front of us on his phone! During the exam he did not explain what he was doing or what his finds were, he wanted to simply write an Rx and get rid of us. He virtually had one foot out the door before we asked a question to get a professional's opinion and what the Medication script was for and what they do. Furthermore, as new patient he didn't bother finding out my profession, instead he assumed from my recent habit (using a computer to studying for exams) that I WORK with computers. As a Doctor in training and as a patient that is just in the need for a medical attention, I can unequivocal express that Dr. Gordon is an absolute waste of time and money. To show empathy and good medical treatment with a human touch is what we're trained to express not to be treated as a number and made feel I had to pay upfront so I can be treated in anyway he pleases.

Dr. Gordon is a thorough professional who pays attention to the smallest detail. You will feel comfortable trusting him with your eyesight. He performed my Lasik surgery. I wore glasses for 40 years, but now my vision is great without glasses. :-)

I've worn glasses since I was 5 - and being blessed with a HUGE astigmatism, I've bounced around from doctor to doctor trying to enlist some understanding. Dr. Gordon got it immediately. The man is a sharp, smart, no-nonsense kind of guy, but can make and take a joke with the best of them. I've found my eye guy - at last!

Peter Gordon is an opthalmologist on top of his game. This careful, thoughtful professional spares no effort to make sure your vision is as good as it can be.
