Yes it is more expensive, but totally worth it if you want high end equipment, the best personal trainers/group classes, awesome locker rooms, the list goes on. Worth every penny to actually look forward to working out.

Very expensive for what you get. Facilities are old and they are always "remodeling" and "fixing" but everything is out of date. Cleaning people always around but it's still dirty. Old clientele appears to be on verge of death but in many years I was a member, they continue to stick around. Paid for membership one year in advance, failed to cancel, they took credit card used in another department and kept billing for nearly a year afterwards despite no gym usage. Refused to negotiate in terms of membership credit, extremely short sighted viewpoint on long term good client. They are only facility like that in tight market, is the only reason they're still in business. Childcare is marginal, kids hated going was tipping point in decision to quit gym.

Some equipment is new, but most needs to be replaced since it is antiquated. Most staff members are all right but not very friendly. There are two guys who are down-right rude and crude. After 3 months of out of order showers where the hot water goes and comes I resigned and joined Exhale.

This club will rip you off!!! I was a loyal member for several years paying on time. I moved out of the neighborhood and they made the cancellation process a nightmare, including pushing out the end-date to charge us an extra month even though they staff themselves knew we were trying to cancel. The instructors and trainers are nice but the management is lacking. There are several other gyms that are more affordable within the area, shop around. Save your money and avoid this club!

I have been a member for four years and I was very pleased with the facilities and staff until recently The facility is very clean and hygienic. Many of the machines in the weight room were antiquated and should be replaced. Rather than having staff meetings after hours, the management closes the club an hour early. I am furious that as a paying member, I am restricted for the sake of the staff. There were at least 30 guys in the locker room last night that shared my sentiment. Recently, new equipment has been purchased for the weight and cardio rooms. The lobby area has been redone. Fairly often, there are craft/art shows there which almost block that main hallway and make it difficult to get to the cardio and weight rooms. These shows should be moved down the hall toward the pool area where it is not crowded. Recently I was treated like dirt by membership person and I resigned my membership. My car was vandalized in January in the front row of parking near the main entrance.

I have been overcharged, pestered and disappointed by the membership team for this gym. They are unprofessional and seemingly completely unaware of how to treat people. All they care about is their commission. You would think that after I joined they would leave me alone, but they keep bothering me about bringing guests so that they can sell memberships to my friends. It's a real shame, because, otherwise, I have no problem with the facility.

A full service athletic club with all the amenities. Top notch instructors and personal trainers. The best sports massage in town. The GM and staff and highly focused on customer care and satisfaction.

This place has EVERYTHING! It may seem a bit more expensive than your average gym, but it's really worth it. From the expansive list of classes, to the pools, tennis and rock climbing wall ACN has a great array of recreation options. Not to mention all the spa services!

I was a member for about 4 months and really liked the gym. I started to work and was unable to continue with my membership. I went to the membership office with my letter to end my mewmbership and was treated so rude I was shocked. The girl stated that she did not understand why I could not wait to end my membership in a couple of months. (In a very rude tone) At this point as I handed her my written notice to end my membership she stated that SHE DID NOT NEED IT. It states in the membership agreement that is how you notify them. But she pushed it across the desk and refused to state that I had given written notice on the form she made my sign. It is so sad that a person like that can give to last empression of the club as a bad attitude.

I have been a member of ACN for around 5 years and have always been thrilled with the equipment and the service. I particularly like the range of cardio equipment that they have. And they are always upgrading and adding new items. The spa services and the tennis lessons/classes are wonderful as well. Definitely more expensive than most places, but you get what you pay for.

I love the club the locations great the classes are all included in my membership, and its pricey but it is a beautiful club and much more upscale then the regular meat markets. Worth the money. I caution against getting involved with a personal trainer because management changes and people end up leaving for one reason or another pretty frequently thats the only bad thing.
