transfer student? Loose your credits!, 10/26/2007

They wouldnt take half of my credits from 3 years at SCAD. Thank God they didnt, I ended up at SCAD in atlanta. ACA is also up 400 so you will need to go through the toll if you live south.

Best Kept Restaurant in Town, 8/07/2006

Yes its students that run this restaurant but the Head Chef is the best in Town at what he teaches. Everyone in Town should try it at one point in time. Just give it a try its will worth the money or... what little money you spend for GREAT FOOD!!!!

Know what you are getting in to

This is a great school if you are aware of what you are getting in to. It is a private school and requires a lot of dedication so if you are unsure it will not be a good fit. This school is hard and is not the place for students who want an easy ride.

Design School

I graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2005. I really enjoyed my time there. The small campus was one of the reasons I chose to go there. I didn't want to be overwhelmed by a large campus because I had moved to Atlanta from a smaller town. I liked the one-on-one time the teachers were able to give me as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-campus supply store was very convenient. The parking was a little expensive, but the school is located within walking distance from 2 MARTA train stations. Overall, I would recommend this school.

Cooking Classes

Although this school's primary focus is on art, they also have a cooking school. They offer great cooking classes on the weekends for foodies that are just the right mix of beginner stuff and technical stuff.

Hello from Brad the photographer.

AIA gave me so many options to get my career going. While I was in school I took courses on photography, video production, music production, and even some fashion business courses. I received my degree in Corporate Communications which is mostly photography and video. The Art Institute gave me a strong foundation for a career that has led to success. I value my education in art even though I'm a professional pilot.

Beware the cost

My daughter went to Culinary School there and there are exhorbitant costs which are very hard to uncover until you enroll. They make it sound like eveyone will get financial aid . The professors were fair, at best, and when you graduate you are left with huge loans and a profession (cook) that is meagerly paid.

Good School

IT is a great school..they have many courses like interior ecoration, graphic desgining, advertising , media....My friend joined their commercial photography course and it turned out to be pretty good. He is doing so well in his field. They have made him so perfect can't imagine. Have seen so much change in the way he sees things now. It is a very good institute to shape a person's career.

Hidden talent

This has one of the best curriculum for training art students. Also the culinary school dining room offers excellent lunches and dinners.

Cooking Class

I took a Saturday cooking class here. Lots of fun. Relatively small class. Also, Creations, their dining room that is run by students is fun to check out as well. There are fancier cooking schools and lessons out there, but this is a good one to really learn techniques. Of course, you get to eat what you cook too.
