Decksouth, Inc.

Decksouth built a deck for us this summer and did an amazing job. I can't tell you how many people have come to our house and commented that it was the nicest deck they have ever seen. In fact, we had it stained about a month ago and the painter (who has stained hundreds of decks in and around Atlanta) used these exact words, "this is the best deck I have ever seen." Interestingly, we really did not do anything too fancy in terms of design; our deck is a standard rectangle to fit our bungalow style house. However, I believe the comments are motivated by stellar craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality materials. I have always been fascinated by the factors that make a company great rather than just good. I am increasingly convinced that the great ones are driven by something more than simply making a profit. It is for this reason I can recommend Decksouth so highly. Through my interactions with Decksouth and after seeing the final product, I firmly believe that they are driven first by building incredible decks. Thus, they are smart enough to know that when driven by such a paradigm success will undoubtedly follow. So, if you are considering a new deck, I would HIGHLY recommend Decksouth.

Decksouth was great, I thought they were very good about clean up at the end of the day. They built a 20 by 15 foot deck on the back of my home. I love it, all ceder decking it looks great.

In the past 5 years we have been doing extensive remodeling and have been abused by most contractors. We have been cheated, gouged, and lied to more times than I can count. And on top of it all, have received poor quality of work. But this was not the case with Decksouth. I wish we had found them earlier in our endeavors. We got quality work and done in a timely manner. The people were very conscientious about their work and did a great job. No money exchanged hands til the job was done to our satisfaction. Alex and Stewart are wonderful and recommend you ask for them by name.

We replaced an old deck with an ipe deck with Decksouth and were very pleased with the process and the results. The folks from Decksouth gave us great suggestions in design. The build process was handled VERY professionally with a great team, as little intrusion as possible, and as good a 'clean up' as you could hope for. You can find less expensive solutions, but I truly believe you get what you pay for with deck work. Decksouth was worth it.

The estimater Craig showed up on time as promised. Craig promptly got me an estimate. Once I gave him the ok the crew took great care around my shrubs erecting the deck.great craftsmen, and left the site clean.

I will use these guys again!...
