They were ready to work
After receiving high water bills and evidence of water coming to my basement through the walls I figured that I might have a leak somewhere so I called in a number of plumbing companies to give an estimate to diagnose and repair the problem. After receiving estimates from several plumbing companies Reggie of Atlantis plumbing who was the service representative on this call did the scope of the problem and works to be done. He then offered two options to address the problem. He said they could either repair the leak or replace the waterline complete. There was however one problem to the repair option and that was to cut into the foundation to find where the leak was because it was apparent that the leak was in the wall and the existing incoming waterline was the dreaded blue poly that has serious manufacturing issues.

My wife and I choose to replace the waterline because this would take care of both the water leak and the blue poly issue.

They came out ready to work from the moment that the crew arrived and worked diligently in adverse conditions (heat then rain then heat) to get the job done and stayed until late in the afternoon to complete the job. Reggie and his crew of Atlantis plumbing did an excellent job in addressing my water leak problem. I recommend them as excellent plumbing professionals that can be trusted.

Top Notch plumber and leak detector
I was recommended by my coworker to call Atlantis and could not be happier. Brian was prompt in his appointment time, well dressed and good at explaining my problem and the solution. He took the time to listen to me and my wife, and our opinion of what was causing our high water bill. After patiently listening, he gave us two options on locating and repairing a leak versus installing a new water line. Our budget was not ready for the full replacement, so we chose the repair option. He got the equipment off the truck and went to work correcting our plumbing problem. Brian’s professional attitude and diligent work in the heat made feel comfortable with his experience. Within two hours Brian located the leak under a small bush and made a repair. I will be calling them back to replace the line as soon I can save the money. I hated spending the money fixing an old rusted steel pipe. I could live with rusty water but could not afford a $700 water bill. I would certainly recommend Brian to anyone.

Worst Service in Town dont call them.
I called Atlantis plumbing to repair my American Standard toilet. They told me they were no available parts to fix them so I should replace the entire toilet, even though it was a specially ordered Victorian style installed only 4 years ago. They wanted to charge me $1,500 to replace the toilet. He charged me just to come out and tell me he wanted to scam me into replacing a new and perfectly fine toilet. I went online, found and ordered the parts to fix it immediately after talking to the fraudulent repairman. They cost $42. My handyman installed the parts and charged me $142. I think that because I am a woman they thought they could scam me out of money. I would NEVER use them again and I warn all women to stay far far away from these people. UPDATE: The company refunded me the $69 they charged to tell me they would not fix my American Standard toilet unless I found my own parts or waited 6 weeks until parts came from Mexico. Strange, since my regular handyman who had returned from vacation fixed it with American Standard parts the very next day. The best way to let you know what it will be like to deal with this company and disagree with their business practice to to post the email the President Michael sent me: as per our conversation via telephone yesterday, Atlantis plumbing has refunded the agreed upon diagnostic charge to your tenant.

"Specially ordered Victorian style" toilet parts are not that common. We called the wholesaler and ordered the part. The only way at that moment we knew to get the toilet fixed immediately was to go buy another super expensive toilet. There are over 1000 places to buy toilet parts in Atlanta and probably 1,000,000 on google. If American Standard was back ordered that does not mean that someone does not have it on the shelf somewhere else. There is no database of where a flapper and flush valve are being stored. We could have searched all day for the part. What more can I do than refund the money we charged for trying to fix the toilet, a service call and spending time trying to match the parts. Why is everyone so critical? If the part was common or in stock you would have had the toilet fixed on the spot. I'm sorry we could not repair your toilet in a timely manor and that the only way we knew how to get the exact toilet working that day was to replace it. A $1500 piece of porlein toilet in a rental house is too much for me. Mike Whitman, Atlantis Plumbing. Please contact me personally if you would like to chat mikewhitma@aol.com or please tell me how we could have handled the situation in your opinion.

Will use them again!
We had a pressure valve go bad in a 40+ year home. The plumber we trusted and used for 10+ years sadly passed away, so we read reviews and found Atlantis. Bryan came out and replaced a pressure valve. We will recommend Atlantis to friends and family. Very competent and the knowledgeable and we have found a new plumbing service. Its hard as most know to find someone dependable and trustworthywe feel we have found that with Atlantis....
