We recently switched our home and business contracts to Bartlett after we became dissatisfied with our old provider who was constantly trying to sell us unneeded equipment or questionable repairs. ... We've been really pleased with the switch. Anthony even had to return to finish our maintenance since there were padlocks on the power disconnects that we were not aware of. Our commercial units are on the roof. Evidently our old provider was cutting corners during their maintenance trips since there was no way to disconnect the power to the unit. Anthony returned with bolt cutters to remove the locks and replace them with our own and finish his inspection without charge. Above and beyond what we expected.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Jerry showed up right at 10am (my window was 10-12) and he quickly found the problem. Unfortunately he did not have the part on hand but said they would order it and have it ready to be installed by... the end of the week. He did hook up the AC so it will run until the part shows up which makes me happy. Very happy overall and can't wait to have it completely fixed. THANKS FOR SUCH GREAT SERVICE!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I was referred to Bartlett by my neighbor who uses them, and I've been using them for about 5 years now! Have a service contract with them as well. My technician is Jerry and he's great. So thorough and explains everything he does. I had a new AC installed a few years ago and their price was the best. I highly recommend this company. These guys are just totally awesome. Not only did I get the junk system tore out of my basement and replaced when they found other issues 2 small leaks in a water line they fixed it also. These guys go above and beyond expectations. Anyone who needs any HVAC work done these guys are AWESOME!

My husband and I recently switched HVAC companies and happily found Bartlett Heating and Cooling. Shannon Bartlett answered my initial phone call inquiring about prices and contracts, and she easily answered my questions and convinced me why Bartlett was our choice. Between my initial phone call and December 8, the scheduled service date, Bartlett kept me updated with helpful email and phone call reminders. On December 8 before Jerry Jenkins, Bartlett's technician for our area arrived, Denise called to alert us he would be arriving within 30-40 minutes. Jerry showed-up on time to service our furnace and spent time with both my husband and me explaining what he did, giving us heating tips, and re-orienting the louvers in several heating vents for better heat distribution. Jerry is a thorough professional and now is our recommended HVAC technician, and Bartlett Heating and Cooling is our new HVAC company. Not only does this company answer the phone, but also it provides efficient, quality, professional service. Kudos to Bartlett and to Jerry! My husband and I look forward to his May 2015 visit to service our A/C and to a long relationship with Bartlett Heating and Cooling.

We have been working with Bartlett the last 3-4 years. They service our current home and our rental. Chris is our service technician and he has done a fantastic job every time we have had to call on him. We look forward to many many years of business with this company. I would highly recommend them.

Our A/C died, which was a mess considering the fact that it flooded our carpets and caused a HUGE mess. Anyway called these guys and they came out ASAP to get our unit back up and running and provided a quote that seemed to very reasonable. Thanks guys!

We had several quotes from several people and this was the best price for the highest quality model we could afford. Losing the AC in the summer in Atl is no fun, and they were here ASAP to take us out of our misery . Thanks yall!

My husband I were really bummed when our A/C went out on a Friday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Of all the times, it had to happen in the summer. We had a small hiccup in the system a few month ago and had received quotes on a new system from 4 different companies. Bartlet had given us a quote on the top of the line system (which saves us a ton of cash in the long run) for the same price for the least upgraded model from another company. Becasue of this, we chose to call Bartlett when our system went out Friday afternoon. We were dredding having to wait through the weekend for the install, but they offered to come out on Sat morning to get the system to function until the could replace it the following Thursday. This was a huge plus, we would have had to get hotel otherwise. Thanks guys, we will def be calling you in the future!

I am glad you went with the top of the line system, because you are correct, it will save you cash in the long run! Doesn't it always seem like things break at to worst possible time? We know how hot it is during the summer so if at all possible, we are always happy to get our customers up and running until a permanent solution can be done. Thank you so much for your business :-)
Thank you for your review. I am glad to see that you ranked our quality and service high. You mentioned the capacitor that we installed at your rental home and had recommended at your primary residence in the past. Capacitors are one of the more common components that wear out on a system due to their almost continuous usage. Run capacitors run each time your blower motor, condenser motor or compressor runs, so it is almost constantly working. While servicing your system, our technician will test the microfarads on the capacitor to ensure that it is running at full capacity per the manufacturers specifications. If it is outside the range, we will recommend replacing it. When the run capacitor is not running at full capacity, it can cause the motor to become noisy, increase energy consumption, cause performance to drop and/or cause the motor to overheat. It is much less expensive to replace a capacitor than a motor or compressor. We do encourage as much preventative maintenance as possible, which actually decrease your overall costs and helps to prevent breakdowns. Please know that we do take each review to heart and really consider what we could have done differently or better. Your business is important to us and we want you to be pleased with each service we provide. At Bartlett, we will always test your system thoroughly, provide you will all of the information we gather, provide you with our professional opinion, answer any questions and then allow you to make the decision that is best for you and your family.
