Where is my estimate?
I feel I have the weirdest occurances with Contractors, I find on Kudzu?! Sorry Kudzu.
1. Dan, came to my house promptly to look at a roof leak I was having after the heavy rains (I did explain on the phone that it was a smaller job). After looking at it he told me his company did not take jobs less than $600. (what about the hard economy we need money spill?). But he did recommend someone else? who turned out great.
2. ok that was fine while there I asked Dan about two larger jobs I would like his company to do on my house, he seemed excited about these and promised to get price quotes back to me as early as the next day. Well it has been 4 weeks now, and no word. I am glad I was not in a rush to have this job done. Sorry Schantz but no business will be done with your company.

12/09 - We certainly apologize, and I will review with Dan. We also do not have a minimum job of $600 and have numerous contracts less than $600. Greg Schantz UPDATE: Dan had scheduled a second appt with this customer for the other items and the customer failed to meet Dan at the home. So, Schantz showed up on time and corrected your problem via referral, received no income, was stood up on appt #2 and then we received a poor review because of it. We admit when we make mistakes, but this time we certainly did not. Lastly, calls to this customer were not returned.

Best Contractor intown!
This is the second time I have used Schantz. Both times Greg provided superior service, product and, performance! His crews do outstanding work, are very courteous and timely.

Superb Roofing Contractor
I looked up Schantz online after another roofer screwed up. I should have gone to these pros 1st. They were realistic with what needed to happen with my roof leak, diligently scheduled it and worked with me on pricing it out.

Great Customer Service and Quality Workmanship
I live on the west coast and rent out my home. In October, we had a sewer back up at my house. Schantz Home Improvement handled it all from dealing with my insurance company to working with my tenant to keeping my nerves calm through a stressful situation that I could not be there to handle in person. They kept me informed throughout and made great recommendations for replacement carpet and bathroom fixtures. Their sub contractors did quality work and they were able to get the work done in 3 days! I highly recommend them.

Siding Work
The project was a smaller job, but Schantz still did it for a good price. The siding work was done quickly and looks good. I appreciated their work and professionalism.

Solved a tricky roof leak problem
Schantz found and stopped a roof leak quickly and permanently. They checked the source from the outside and from the attic and I've been dry for months.

The others that came out probably would have solved my problem, but they wanted to replace the whole roof (at 9 years).

I will definately call on them for future projects.

I suppose it doesn't surprise me that the others wanted to maximize profit. We like to assess the entire situation and suggest the best use of your money as if it was ours. Sure, we didn't get rich quick, but we would rather grow our faithful customer base for long term prosperity. Our repeat business keeps us in business.
