I contacted North Georgia Roofing and Construction to do some things around my personal home. Schedule to show up between 9:30 - 10:00 Saturday - no phone call - no show! We talked, I gave them a... second chance for the following Saturday same time - no show - no phone call. They said I was rude to them, you think after being stood up for 2 weekends - tried to make everything my fault, would not accept responsibility. I was the one who sat at home waiting on them - go figure that out! So glad I did not give them 1/2 $$ before they started I'd still be out funds if so! Not a happy person. They are now calling me making threatening phone calls about my "no show" comments. very sad...very sad.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
North GA Roof and Restoration replaced my roof last summer and did a great job. However, in the process they damaged 3 window screens. The manager promptly came out and promised to replace them - and... not to worry and pay the final invoice since the 3 screens were not a big deal - I had his word. Right! 9 months later I am still waiting on my screens to be replaced. I called several times and got the run around. 1st time they had to be special ordered. 2nd time they were picked up but blew off the truck on GA 400. 3rd time they never called back. Poor service - there are a lot of roofing companies out there. Find someone who treats their customers right and honor their word!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We have been extremely satisfied with both the sales process as well as the work. Justin was very nice and knowledgeable. The crew came in, paid attention to detail, and did a quality job in one day. Their post job support has been even better as we had a couple of questions after the work and they came out to answer them - Ray has been happy to help and provides sound insight! Have recommended them to our friends and would hire them again.
We had North Ga Roof come out and do an inspection and damage assessment for the March 15th hail storm. I arranged for my State Farm adjuster to come out and to my surprise, the guy who did the assessment had quit North Ga Roof. They had another guy on the ground looking around like he was lost. When the adjuster asked him to come on the roof and show him the damage, the North Ga guy called his boss. When his boss got here, both climbed on the roof for the first time, and all 3 started looking for damage. Needless to say, my adjuster turned me down saying "there wasn't enough damage shown". I called another company, and got State Farm to come back out, and guess what. This time it was approved, because the new roofer had marked all dents and took pictures. Also, I saw a North Ga putting on new roofs for a couple of my neighbors, and they did a sorry job compared to the other roofers used in the neighborhood. I would strongly recommend against North Georgia Roof & Restoration. BUT, it is your money, and your investment.
After interviewing a few contractors i decided to have my work done by the guys at North Georgia. I did a lot of homework and talked to some of my neighbors that have used them and they were all very happy. They were also the only ones that were accredited by the BBB, so that made me feel better knowing that someone else would be looking out for me. They were able to get me into the upgraded shingles for a nice chunk less than the other guys too!! I am very excited to see my house with my new roof!!! Thanks North Georgia!!!
These guys were GREAT! They handled all paperwork. I didn't even have to get my insurance check processed. They did it all and I got a great looking roof!They installed a new ventalation for my roof and now my house is cooler every day when I get home from work! Imagine that a roofer just lowered my energy bill. I wouled recomend them to everyone!
Like the earlier comments, the field reps were very pushy, rude and offended my wife. She was concerned about damage to new planted flowers and recently painted siding. The reps said, things happen that can not be prevented and they won't be responsible. We will not be using them. They may do good work but they do not seem to care about customers concerns or make plans to be careful about landscape or paint.
These guys are very pushy and made my wife feel uncomfortable.I have chosen a different company for my needs.

I would like to know If they say they are local then why do all of the (company) vehicles have out of state license plates. I own a small local roofing company and out of state companys like this one are making it hard for us to survive with the blown up prices and the shotty workmenship. I recomend any one in need of a new roof do some research on the company they are going to use. be sure they are local. how can you warranty a roof from out of state.Those companys wich are reading this and are from out of state ( you know who you are) GO HOME.
Field Rep was there to meet with my ins. adjuster for inspection. Work was done in a timely manner. Roof looks great and workmanship up to this point seems to OK. Only complaint is that they did not re mount my satellite dish . Now I am in a position trying to decide how to mount it without compromising the integrity of the new roof.
I were going to use them, but i found out the business was just started. the company was started 3/17/2008, 2 day after the hail storm. If i going to use somebody, he better been around for a long time.
North Georgia Roof and Restoration has been in business since March of 2005, and since then we have been doing on average 300 roofs a year in the metro Atlanta area. We have references available upon request. I'm not sure where this information was found but it is incorrect.
