Jason's experience as a landscape designer and arborist means he knows what he is talking about. The best part though is his common sense approach and strong desire to ensure you are happy. I had... trees removed, with one more to go and am having sod laid. My neighbors have been extremely impressed with the work he has done. Jason was very professional and did excellent work. He did all our grading, planting and sod installation. I'll only use them from now on. Definately give them a call.

Jason came out and was very personable and professional. He did all the landscape design and installation for my new house. My wife is a very picky person with her flower garden and she was very pleased with Mr. Cheshire's work ethic and the end product.

My home was in need of landscaping after the closing. Jason came out to take a look at my front beds and offered several options on how we might landscape the beds. The 3D designs he presents are amazing. He used some of my existing plants from the builder, which saved me money. Panicle came out and installed a colorful perennial bed at my mailbox, with drought tolerant plants. The crew also made my entryway along my sidewalk from the drive very appealing with basic easy to maintain plants. I wanted low maintance, and wow did they hit a home run! I also wanted a formal look in front of my home, NICE! They painstakingly edged the beds to keep out my sod. They amended the beds properly according to a soil test. Installing mulch was one of the best things I have done, but I also used pine straw in the back, since I like pine straw. The landscape was installed in early spring and still looks great! They also adjusted my sprinklers at no extra charge. I received five quotes before I agreed to hire Panicle they gave me a mid to high quote, but not the highest. The contract was straight, to the point, and itemized. The work was completed very professionally and exactly outlined within the contract. Thanks for all that you have done!

Thanks so much for this detailed review. I really enjoyed designing this landscape and watching it come to life. I highly respect the fact you wrote a review after all this time. Thank you for maintaining your landscape especially thru this horrific drought. Please let us know if we can do anything to assist you in the future for this wonderful favor in response to this review.
I have waited 11 months to write this review, trying to give my new lawn a chance to fill-in. - We wanted to do some grading and bermuda sod installation for our backyard. Jason came out and was very impressive. He actually measured the lawn (unlike 5 others who "eyeballed it") and gave me an estimate based on 24 pallets of sod plus 3 for waste. We came to a price that was on par with others. The grading was good and the soil prep was GREAT. 27 pallets of sod arrived and took ALMOST 6 DAYS to install, while drying out on pallets in the street (employees were out sick). Once the pallets were empty, the job was only about 80% complete (remember, he actually measured the lawn). I paid an additional $600, understanding that the sod farm and Jason would credit for the Volkswagon size pile of dead sod. He came back with only enough sod to cover 10% and seed for 10% (never germinated). Now that he is finished, mowing is like driving offroad. This is due to poor sod, not Jason's work. The lawn is full of bare spots which are starting to fill in, but bare still. Jason did come back out last month to fertilize and spread 2 bags of playsand to help the spots to fill in (there are so many spots he could have used 25 bags). This WILL be a nice lawn, but will take a few years - not what I thought I was getting for the money. Again, Jason did a good job, but took too long and used poor quality sod. I think the results would have been better had this been a much smaller job.

The Panicle Group strives to bring quality customer service to all our clients. There are always things that go wrong that is beyond our control. Yes, we have completed sod jobs much larger than this with no problems. However, we did have 4 employees contract a stomach virus while working on this project and could not continue the project. We could not pull other employees from other jobs, that would be unfair to the other customers. So what I did as the manager, was let 4 pallets of sod go to waste, which this customer states we did replace at our cost and is true. I only measured for 27 pallets of sod, which this is what we charged the client for, no more or no less. I also explained to the client this amount is not enough to cover to a small fence, which is a good marking point. He then gave us an additional $600, which we used to purchase extra pallets of sod and did not charge for labor. I explained it still would not be enough money to cover the area and that I would seed the rest at no additional charge, I thought this was more than fair. The customer received very good quality grade work at a very reseasonable price, which took 4 days to complete. Again, my measurements placed in writing, the client received a very expensive grading job as we had to shave down a large bank to flatten out and expand his lawn. The customer did not install an irrigation system due to the added expense, which he failed to mention. We did not use any sod that we felt would not fill in, the reason it did not fill in is due to lack of water and improper use of fertilize througout the 11 passing months. Recall the customer mentioned I did come back out last month, and I feel I am educated enough to make the last statement. This summer all of metro Atlanta was placed on strict watering bans. I am telling our side of the story for the sake of all potential customers not only for us, but also to other companies as well. I am begging you, please do not install a landscape that you can not properly maintain for any reason. The sod quality was also of market quality at the time, as we only used sod from nurseries and farms we have done business with for at least ten years. Feel free if you are a potential client to give me a call if you have any other concerns regarding this review. Again, we try our best to go out of our way to please our clients. I try to place everything in writing so you will know what you will receive, and try not to begin a project until we understand every aspect of the design and build process together. Thank you for taking the time to read our side of the story, and considering The Panicle Group. -Jason
When I first employed Jason Cheshire I was very pleased with his work. As time went on during the year it became more difficult to get him out to the house but his work was still of good quality. At the beginning of this season I was disappointed that Mr. Cheshire was not working on my lawn. I had to call several times and the work was still not done. I finally had to cancel my contract for failure to perfomr the contracted services. I regretted this action and am sorry it did not work out as Jason is a fine young man.

We loved working for the Davis residence very nice folks in a nice neighborhood. However, we have no record of any signed contract with the Davis residence. Two reason why The Panicle Group discontinued service: 1) Three instances payment was over 30 days late. 2) We take care of our twelve month contracted customers first, again the Davis residence did not hold such a binding contract. Every employee at The Panicle Group strives to give our customers quality and satisfaction, and we apologize for not being able to establish such a level of commitment with this particular client.
My project included landscaping and deck staining. The landscaping involved removing two bushes and planting four. Also, pine straw was replaced with synthetic straw. The deck was pressure washed then stained in two colors. The crew used an appropriate number of stain coats. For each task we thoroughly discussed the details before hand and the Panicle group representative was very knowledgable and helpful. Afterwards, small changes I requested were gladly completed. They were happy to add a small task (changing board) at a reasonable price.

Working with Jason Cheshire was a pleasure. He provided many options, changed the design to fit our tastes, and described in detail all items he recommended for our front yard. Installation was quick and professional. He is definitely a person of his word, dependable, and truthful. We expect to work with him again in the future.

We appreciate the review and it was a pleasure working on the project. The hard work that goes into the designs pays off when I hear compliments like this one! Thanks again!
Panicle Group does what it says it will do. Jason Cheshire has an in-depth knowledge of plant material and installation. Very methodical in the tear-out phase and excellent in the soil and terrain preparation prior to replanting. Thank you for the review. We had to take out some very tough trees and also work on a bank overgrown with junipers just to begin prep work for planting and a small dry stack wall. The crew enjoyed working on this project.
I've seen plenty of Pannicle's residential yards & a few commercials & they have all been top notch. I've included his pricing on a few of my commercial jobs that I hope start this summer. Looking forward to doing business with them.

What a great review, thanks so much! It is a good feeling to know our landscapes have made such visual impact.
These guys do wonderful work! They started by removing several large trees close to my home. After that they relandscaped my entire front lawn area, from reshaping my bank to laying down new sod, to the installation of several flower beds in both sun and shade areas. I was so impressed with their work I had them come back and install a large Koi pond complete with a riverbed and three waterfalls. Any future landscaping I have done these guys will do it!

Justman had a lot of pine trees and a sloped yard. Lots of prep work. The landscape will only look as good as the prep work. The waterfalls really made an impact! I know those Koi will look like a pro bodybuilder one day if you keep feeding them like you do! Thanks for your time with writing the review!
We had Panicle clear some old overgrown shrubbery from our house and prepare the beds for planting. They did a fine job, but more impressive was the job they did replacing our old crosstie stairs in the backyard. The stairs were rotting and we had Panicle replace them with a pressure treated frame filled with gravel. They took their time and did a great job; they even graded the ground around the new stairs so they fit in very well. They also have a spray that kills English Ivy with one application if you have the misfortune of having that stuff in your yard.

The back yard was a challenge, but that is what we love. It is a good feeling when you and your customers are on the same page, and together the vision comes true. Thanks for the review!
These guys are very professional, not to mention affordable. Their prices are great, they get the work done when they say they will and make sure you are completely satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone in the metro area!!

We appreciate your review! I enjoyed seeing your basset hound out on the job each day. He reminds me of Jerry Reed's dog "Fred" from "Smokey and the Bandit!" I will bring him a dog biscuit next time out!
These guys did a great job cutting limbs from trees above my house. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with their work, and The price was great too. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any landscaping work done for the home or business.

I will admit, one limb gave us a hard time! I apologize for the late responses to our reviews! Thank you so much for the nice review, and keep putting your knowledge of math in those young kids. I know they look up to you! I would not have to stretch so far in those trees if I was as tall as you!
I got to give you a hard time! I only met one wife, I know you meant to put a "v" in there! You are great, and I hope the pond gives you and your "wife" years of enjoyment. Thanks for letting us build a pond where the fish are happy! Go Braves!
