Expensive with poor customer service
Bought 6 pallets of Zeon Zyosia from them for about $300 more than their competitors (but they had it the weekend we needed it). They did deliver on time, but when the grass wouldn't grow (waited patiently 2 weeks) we had a lawn maintenance company come out to investigate. They discovered we had an 'army worm' infestation and needed to spray for them.

The maintenance company said this wasn't uncommon and that the sod company should pay the $40 for them to come spray. When we called NG turf they quickly declined any assistance and said since we had waited 2 weeks they couldn't be liable and probably some 'moth' laid eggs or something.

After paying a hefty $1500 for the sod I expected a little bit more in the way of customer appreciation.

Needless to say, I won't be using them for my sod when I do my front yard next year and I do not recommend them. For the extra price and rude service I know I can do better.

Fall army worms are easily treated once identified with a simple soap solution. (See NG Turf's resources page for instructions). The armyworm moth lays egg clusters that are green, blue or gray on grass blades, patios, tables, chairs and even walls. The caterpillars hatch 3 to 7 days later and begin to feed on grass that is lush, green and well fertilized, ie: fresh sod. For more information, visit UGA’s website. Good price, Great service
I ordered 8 pallets of Tifgrand for my yard and called 3 places. I found NGturf's prices to be the most competitive. More importantly, the delivery was scheduled for 8am, Saturday and the driver showed up around 7:30ish. No complaint's here.

Good Sod, Mediocre Service
Customer service prior to the sale was great. The person I talked to was knowledgable and more importantly honest about the whole thing. I found fescue cheaper, but given the reviews and the initial customer service I felt it was best to go with ngturf. The fescue sod I got was great, especially if you install right away like you are suppose to. However, this was my first attempt at sodding and some of the sod that I didn't get installed the first day started turning brown. I called the company asking what I should do and the person who picked up the phone didn't know. I was told someone with more knowledge in the this area would call me back. They never did, so I can't say the service was anything better than average. After some research I realized that I was overwatering the sod. I lost some sod, but it could of been less had they called me back.

Most Timely Sod Provider Ever
Our company uses North GA Turf weekly and they are the most reliable we have ever used. Quality is good, pricing is competitive, but service is unmatched. STRONGLY Recommend!

The Best Customer Service
Our company has been buying sod from North Georgia Turf for many years. They never disappoint with their service or their product. They bend over backwards to make sure their landscape contractors and homeowners are 100'% satisfied. Highly recommended.
