J. R. Jones Construction, Inc.

Knowing that we had multiple things needing repair or replacement, my wife and I decided to find a local general contractor to handle our project. Our project list included some brick work, replacement of rotten siding, trim work, painting, gutters, some plumbing, and garage doors. I researched the different GCs in Atlanta and narrowed it down to two firms. In the end we decided to go with J.R. Jones Construction. Jim was very personal yet professional and based on the other reviews here I felt he was the type of GC we wanted to do the work. We couldn't be happier! His subs were all great to work with. There was good communication. And in the end, we feel like we got a new house! Just look at the pictures. Thanks Jim for everything.

I got Jim Jones construction information from Home Advisors.com. They provided me with several other companies names,but Jim Jones is the only one that I contacted. After contacting Jim we met and I told him about my vision for a Handicapp Bathroom and Laundry room combined addition. Jim presented me with a design and a price quote that I could work with in a very timely manner. When we agreed on the project Jim and his Crew started and he kept me informed about every phase as they went along. Jim and his Crew were very professional and very knowledgeable about the building process. The project turned out to be exactly what I wanted and needed all done within the time frame that Jim projected. I also had Jim to built a Wheel Chair Ramp after they finished the addition. Jim Jones Construction is a great company to help any one with their building needs A+ work!!!

Jim helped us plan our basement finishing and front entrance rehabilitation project. Honest, professional, and punctual are only a few of the superlatives I can think of to describe Jim. He provided details on varying levels of finish to fit different budgets, turned project changes around quickly, and arrived at appointments prepared and on time. He was the only designer we worked with that also considered the safety aspects of his design plan. Highly recommended for any home construction project!

I had a very small guest bathroom with some water damage. So I called Mr. Jones to discuss the repairs and discuss my options. He was very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. I will definitely use him and his services again.

We selected J. R. Jones Roofing & Construction, Inc. from six contractors we interviewed to repair water and termite damage in our kitchen and breakfast area.  Jim was concerned about my advanced COPD and had his crews put up a barrier between work areas and me  All trades were involved in the repairs, framers, Sheetrock, painters and floorers.  All worked hard and cleaned as they went.  When they found live termites they asked me if I wanted to contact my exterminator and waited for him to arrive an spray the area before they continued with the repairs.  Jim had warned us the popcorn ceiling might not match perfectly, wrong, his painters did an excelent job.  Once the walls, ceiling and floor was repaired, enter the flooring crew lead by Richard.  Jim and Richard helped with selection of the right tile to meet our needs and budget. There are several key points to make about our experince with Jim Jones and his crews. 1.  Jim is former military and a true professional.2.  Jim truely cares about the customer and quality of service.3.  His crews are carefully selected to be on time, clean as they go and work for customers satisfaction.4.  Jim is very personable and willing to insure his customers needs and budget are met. Jim, thank you and your's for your help, advice and uderstanding when we made several in-process changes.  You will be the first one we call should we need home repairs again.
