overpriced and Dr. Babcock is unprofessional
Gave me a quote for service of $87.00. The price turned out to be over $170.00 and when I complained (nicely) they told me I could no longer bring my pets there.... which had been 2 dogs, three cats with over $1500.00 in service in less than one year...overpriced and Dr. Babbcock is too old, unprofessional and imature..the other doctors there are good, but the place charges way too much...go elsewhere

Great Bird Doc!
I had a parrot that was egg bound. While she should have bounced back immediately after removing the egg, it took over a week. She stopped eating and had to be tube fed. Dr. Babcock is very informed and passed on his knowledge to me. A lot of you complain about the prices, yes it is expensive but when you have exotics they are going to run you more than cats or dogs. My parrot was saved and I cannot put a price on that.

BAD BAD BAD SERVICE
This is the worst service ever. I went in with a complaint of animal that couldnt walk and was in pain. Ross Babcock is old and should retire. Just like the previous person he proceeded to do a physical exam to see if anything was broken, good thing nothing was broken. During his doing the exam the animal whimpered but Babcock was to deaf to hear it. He proceeded to talk down to me and tell me nothing was wrong with his he wasnt in pain and there is no pain medications to give this animal and did more tests. Come to find out this is what happens in the end stages of animals life.. I am sad my animal died the next day so if you worried about your animal RUN FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!

Not a Fan
They seem to have a pretty steady stream of clientele so am disappointed that I didn't come out with such a great experience. Dr. Babcock needs to give up his throne and move on. He got cranky/arrogant when I wanted an estimate for all the services he wanted to do for my pet bird. And while I fully respect people with disabilities, his inability to hear makes for a very difficult exchange when discussing matters related to the pet. I felt like I was being subject to paying for unnecessary tests and made to feel guilty for inquiring on what the tests would help with. More than once I was reminded by the doctor of his years of experience when simply wanting to know more about why he was recommending something. Just didn't feel very good about this particular doctor and in general feel the hospital overcharges. Hope others have a better experience, but I will not return.

Very impressed with Palo Verde
I have taken my chihuahua to see Dr. Babcock a few times now and will continue to do so. I feel very comfortable knowing that my baby(dog) is getting the best care with such an experienced veterinarian. I was very impressed with the one on one time the doctor spent with my pet. The staff was very friendly. It was very obvious to me everyone there loves animals and working with them.Over all I really believe Palo Verde to be a great place and provides more than fair prices :)
