I am very UNHAPPY with this clinic! The Establishment is dirty and unsafe. I have pictures to prove! They had used bloody goz in with the new/clean goz! Used needles and used thermometer covers in... with new/clean ones! Blood splatters on the wall! The garbage was a box with a plastic shopping bag! The "VET" that saw us had his name taped over someone elses and that was over the coat that had another name on it! Only one vet had certifications on the wall and they barely spoke English! They wanted $600 just to do an x-ray! THEY FAILED TO MENTION THE DIME SIZE HOLE IN MY POOR CAT! My 3 and 7 year old kids spotted them, how could a vet miss that? I am doing everything in my power to contact the right authorities!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
When my dog got hit by car, i was sure it will be catastrophic for me. I am unemployed and surviving on my savings. when i explained my situation to Dr Goraya, he did the bone surgery in a fraction... of cost what other emergency hospital was quoting to me. If this hospital was not here, I am sure because of limited funds, i would have to put my dog to sleep. God bless you !!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
The first time I had an exam I was unsure i felt like the treatment was very minimum, however when I called to recieve my records to leave, the doctor took the phone and personally talked to me and asked me to come in for a follow up. At his request I did and after a second treatment I felt much more satisfied. The biggest change of all was the enviroment up front, the girl working the front, I believe her name tag said Courtney was a breath of fresh air, she had a bright smile and made me laugh, and was very willing to answer all my questions, with a smile i might add! Compared to my first visit on a weekday morning, this weekend concinced me to stay.

I went with a friend to have her adopted (from a friend) cat, Ruby, checked out. We had no previous vet info for Ruby. We asked to have her shots brought up current and to find out if Ruby had been spayed. Never once did the vet use a stethoscope to check her vitals i.e.; heart rate, respiratory or did they take her temperature. The vet haphazardly shaved Ruby's stomach to find a scar, which he never found. He indicated the only way to confirm was to open Ruby up and look. When we indicated that Ruby snored and seemed to weez, he never listened to her breathing. They were concerned that Ruby is overweight, but when told she had just been put on a diet, never once asked what kind of diet, what food, etc. Overall, I felt there was no real concern for Ruby. As my friend said "They acted like they couldn't have cared less about Ruby". I have two cats of my own, and I would NEVER subject them to this vet. Hospital.
Took my dog here for a skin rash. VERY busy place. Convenient hours helped as it was 7:00 pm. Not very clean, no Vet certs displayed. I wouldn't go here for anything serious but for small, simple stuff they seems to work well and are cheaper
We used to go to one of the many hig priced vets in West Seattle. After hearing about SSVH from 3 or 4 different people, we decided to try them out. Not only are the more affordable, but really seem to care about the animals. They don't push all kinds of tests on you either. The place isn't as shiny and crisp as the other places, but the bill is less than half! I'll take that over a new lobby any day!

INHUMANE TREATMENT OF SICK ANIMALS by PROTECT PETS at Citysearch Reviews for South Seattle Veterinary Hospital - Harvir S Goraya DVM INHUMANE TREATMENT FOR SICK PETS Susan B. 1 South Seattle Veterinary Hospital - Harvir S Goraya DVM This is an unclean place for any seriously ill animal. Dr. Nagara is very unsure of himself and rambles in an unsure tone. Lisa is always on the phone instead of taking care of hands on of pets. My dog was laying in urine for over 4 days and they did not change his IV needle for 5 days. I wanted to take my dog somewhere else, but they said they were the best (later, sadly, another hospital could have saved my dog). I overheard Dr. Goraya saying he needed an organ for another dog, maybe that is why my dog was left dying instead of helping. If your dog is seriously ill, do not go here, no matter what they tell you. Also, there was a cute cat alseep in her cage and Lisa went over and flicked it on it's cheek and laughed about it. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU TRULY LOVE AND TREASURE YOUR PET"S LIFE. Report Abuse Pros: NEAR COMPETENT VETS IN BURIEN Cons: UNCLEAN, UNCARING, INEPT
This veterinary hospital is the worst I have ever been to. It smells, is dirty and the vet I saw had no people skills whatsoever. He did not explain anything to me about my dog and what could be wrong. He did not smile or talk to my dog once and he seemed very cold. I was told he was new, and I don't even know his name. It was not Dr. Goraya or Singh, it was the newer man. He was absolutely clueless in what he was doing and how he handled my pet. Furthermore, the place is a disaster. A man came out bleeding from the hand, a dog was rejected for treatment for not having money and was dying on their floor, spilling blood everywhere. It was absolutely horrifying. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever!!! After I paid for x-rays, I was told I could not have them sent to my regular vet, even though I paid for them. How is my vet supposed to follow up without the x-rays I paid for? Absolutely horrible.
