Atlanta Basement Creations

Michael of Atlanta Basement Creations and the outstanding folks that he hired did a great job for us on renovating a bathroom and bedroom in the basement of our older (1950s) home in Buckhead. He tailored the scope of the project to our limited budget, worked with us to get precisely the design elements we wanted, and was very good about explaining things to us, as this was the first time we've ever contracted a significant renovation. He's also been very good about follow-up, and re-did some paint work without being asked to do so. We were pretty nervous about this project, and had a firm deadline - by wife was due in early March and we needed the space ready for visiting family. After looking at several contractors, we perceived that Michael / ABC would be more responsive and meet our timeline, and that's how it went. It wasn't the lowest bid but we believe that in some respects (ideally) you get what you pay for, and quality was a major factor for us. Overall, there were few surprises; I'll just say that like any detailed project you have to keep communicating clearly. The rooms have been earning rave reviews from friends and family. I'd expect to work with Michael again in the future when our budget supports more renovations.
