Dr. Dott is a miracle worker! I had been dealing with my medical issues for over 2 years and saw 8 doctors (2 of which were gynecologists) before finally discovering Dr. Dott. He solved my problems... in one visit. He not only is a genius, but he also has the kindest bedside manner. He is a problem solver and thinks outside the box, which I found is very rare with many doctors. From now on, I will be going to Dr. Dott for my annual visits, as well as for any gynecological problems I may have.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Dr A.Dott & his staff are comppassionate knowledgable & most of all like family. Truly irreplaceable
I changed to Dr. Dott @ 33wks preggers and im so happy I did! Dr. Dott is a very caring doctor and he will make you feel comfortable from the start. The Office staff, (Kathy and Dianne) are like the dream team. The doc was concerned and was attentive with all of my questions. He made sure I had all of the resources I need for when I deliver and also put me on with a pediatrician. On my way out the door, the staff provided me with a gift pack. I was told by my old doctor that I would not receive anything until AFTER my baby was born. Dr Dotts' office proved them wrong and showed them out! I only wish that I would have been going 2 him from the start of pregnancy.
After reading all the reviews on this website I decided to call doctor Dott's office, they got me in the following week. I had a history of ectopic pregnancy (tube removed) and miscarriages, Doctor Dott told me on my first visit that I will have a healthy baby and I sure did. I never had to wait more than 15mn (if I even had to wait) I always get in immediately. Plus I only had to see Dr Dott not like other offices (different midwife each visit), He will take time to answer all your questions, also if you do call the office; your calls get returned the same day (Dr Dott called himself once) ...Great Doctor, (Cathy and Diane are also GREAT). I highly recommend him.
Dr. Dott is outstanding. I went to him after reading reviews and his bio online...still one never knows. When I arrived the staff was efficient, Dr. Dott has a wonderful demeanor, takes time to answer questions, and is completely professional. I moved to Atlanta never expecting to find a doctor as good as the one I left...I'm so relieved and impressed...I'll be going to him for years to come.
i tried to make an appt when i was 12 weeks pregnant. i was told dr. dott was on vacation the week i needed. after that, i would be out of town for 5 weeks, so i scheduled an appt. for the 6th week when i returned. when i arrived at the office,in my 17th week of pregnancty, the receptionist said he was on vacation again! i told her i had an appt and that i made it 6 weeks ago. i asked her why wasn't i told. she showed me a piece of scratch paper that had a few names on it and said that i am 'not on the list'! i was offered to make another appt over two weeks later! i needed to be checked then! not two weeks later. at least she could have put me in the next day! this is how they run their office. what kind of doctor takes vacations every month? what kind of office is so irresponsible that they can't make proper appts?!!! i told her i will never be back! what a joke of an office. i think their families are the ones that wrote those reviews!
Dr. Andrew Dott and his staff are committed to providing sensitive and personalized care. We use the most modern appointment and scheduling programs to insure accuracy in our scheduling operations. Dr Dott had a family emergency with the pre-term birth of his third grandchild and had to leave his practice to meet his family's need. Cross coverage was arranged with three outstanding physicians on the staff at Northside Hospital. Every patient who had a scheduled appointment was notified and rescheduled for the following week and a written record was kept of all of these calls. Unfortunately, we could not identify "Truth Sayer" as having an appointment or we certainly would have contacted her. Unfortunately, with two weeks of work scheduled for the following week, we could only fit in emergencies. I am sorry that "Truth Sayer" felt disappointed and I would like to discuss her experience with her.
I have been going to Dr Dott for 14 years and would never change. My daughter has also been going to him for that long and he delivered her baby. Although she now lives in Miami, she still comes back to him. He is the best.
did not have to wait long, good service, had a full waiting room and I was concerned my first visit would be my last, but they moved people in quickly. I still did not feel rushed since I had all of my questions written down and the doctor answered all to my satisfaction in an efficient manner. The exam was quick but thorough.
I had my appt. with Dr. Dott on 5/13/08. His staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Dott listened to all of my concerns. He seemed very personable and genuinely interested in my well being. I will definitely refer him to all of my family and friends.
I decided to go to doctor Dott's office after reading all the reviews on Kudzu.com, all I can say is that Doctor Dott was great, very professional, and pleasant to communicate with, one thing that bothered me from day one until today is the lady working at the front "Cathy" the first time she was shewing gum out loud for the whole time I was there, the other visits she won't even great me when I walk in, I had more than three visits to that office and it is the same way with her every time and I think if change her attitude just a bit that office will be PERFECT ....I will still visit the office because of Doctor Dott, also I never have to wait (not like other offices)also the nurse is great...and I will recommend doctor Dott to anyone...
Visited Dr. Dott after a miscarriage and awful care from another doctor's office. I called a doctor that keeps up with my hypothyroidism and asked for a recomendatation for an obgyn that would be familiar with hypothyroid. I was referred to Dr. Dott. We met before my pregnancy and discuss the use of progesterone due to my first miscarriage and the thyroid issues. I really believe his wisdom and proactive attitude allowed me to carry my babies! He delivered all 3 of my children. He did a wonderful job and Diane and Cathy are great to work with. They are all very understanding and help to meet your needs. He is not a rigid doctor or an office that you never know who you will see. He actually remembers your name and who you are. I guess at least when you have 3 kids in 5 years! It really was a pleasure receiving care from his and his office.
I've been going to Dr. Dott for several years now and two of my friends also go to him. Last year my insurance changed and I went to a female doctor, it just wasn't the same. Dr. Dott makes you very comfortable and cares for each of his patients. LOVE HIM!!!
I met Dr. Dott the first time while experiencing a miscarriage. It was terrifying for me and Dr. Dott was compassionate and easy to talk to. He took time to answer all of my questions and ease my fears. His staff was extrordinarily kind and treated me with the upmost compassion. A miscarriage is a terrible reason to need an OB, but I'm so very glad Dr. Dott was there to help me through it. My husband and I are trying to conceive again and plan to have Dr. Dott oversee our pregnancy.
Just got back from my first visit with Dr. Dott. I must say, he is a very nice, kind, caring, professional doctor. His staff was wonderful (unlike Dr. Walter's staff). My wait time was less than 20 minutes. Dr. Dott will be my OB/GYN doctor for life. ----------- Had my second visit yesterday, 6/27/07. Dr. Dott did the procedure Dr. Walter's was scheduled to do but canceled. He did an excellent job and found something that I would have never known was there had I not went to him. He was very patient during the procedure which helped me relax even more. Dr. Dott is a very knowledgeable, professional doctor. He is the best OB/GYN doctor I have ever been to.
I have been going to Dr. Andrew Dott for 14 yrs. He is a super doctor that cares about his patients. Dr. Dott is not a cookie cutter doctor with cookie cutter prescriptions, but he IS a doctor that looks at each individual and their concerns. He is an educator that actively informs his patients of new methods, prescriptions, etc. Dr. Dott is a knowledgeable doctor and well respected by his patients.
Dr. Dott saw me as a new patient within a day of my calling his office for a very sensitive problem. What I liked most about Dr. Dott was that he listened to me. We talked for about 15-20 minutes before we did an examination. I've been to a lot of doctors and this was the first time that I felt that the doctor cared about hearing my symptoms and not just prescribing something quickly. I highly recommend him!
Caroline Dott has a midlife counseling practice and is a dedicated professional who can steer you through difficult times, which might include depression, marital counseling, job loss, life guidance and she does this always with a sunny, positive outlook in a safe and comfortable setting. Caroline is also available to speak to groups and I highly recommend her midlife women's group as well!!! A dynamite person to have in your life!!
