Hewes Family Movers

We moved from one storage unit to one closer to our house and the move was so easy thanks to Hewes. The 4 member crew was friendly and efficient and fast. The process was easy - just a phone call and email and we were set - no problems.

I used Hewes Family Movers for a local move. Everyone person on the team was polite and professional. The greatest degree of care was taken with all of my furniture and the delicate pieces, art, flat screen and furniture were taken in a separate van to insure safety. They came in under estimate and saved me $. I highly recommend Hewes Family Movers!

Hewes Family Movers did a great job moving my son from Athens, Georgia to our suburban Atlanta home. They were trustworthy and hard working---I would recommend them to anyone who is moving locally or long distance.

Hired Hewes to move me from my home to another location within Atlanta. They packed and unpacked my POD unit quickly, wasting no time, and followed my instructions regarding where to place my items in my new place. They are very professional, work hard and, while I didn't have any issues, I feel that Bill would have stepped up to address any problems quickly and to my satisfaction. I will certainly use them again for my next move!

This was the absolute worst experience we have ever had with a moving company. We hired Hewes Family Movers to move our large appliances and some furniture across town to our new house, but the day from start to finish was fraught with damages and mistakes. 1.) Scratched/dented brand new Refrigerator 2.) Scratched brand new Washing Machine 3.) Cracked Plasma TV Pedestal 4.) Did not properly turn off the icemaker and washing machines lines and FLOODED the house 5.) Dented wooden banister & staircase.
These are the most significant issues, but believe me, there were many more. To make matters worse, even though Bill Hewes indicated that we had full replacement value insurance, he has refused to submit an insurance claim or replace/repair the damaged items on his own dime, leaving us no other choice but to seek legal action.
