I brought my car in 3 times for a leak in my roof over 8 weeks. 1st visit: told ducts were clogged, needed to be cleaned, would be $250, which I thought was high, told them I was going to get a 2nd... opinion, dropped price to $150 immediately on the phone. Picked up car, and water poured into roof the first time it rained. Brought car back, was told they only partially cleaned ducts before, needed to do more of the same, tried to charge $250 again, told them I was not going to pay for the same service twice, knocked off price of first cleaning. 1 week later, rained again, still leaking, brought car in, was told it might just be the battery not closing windows all the way, but could also be seals on entire car, $1400 to fix. Googled issue: $50 bottle of lubricant for seals to fix them, instead of replacing. Worst customer service experience of my life. Felt completely taken advantage of. My brand new (1 month old) Jetta's engine was destroyed at a 3rd party oil change facility. The whole situation was a complete NIGHTMARE. Even though none of this was VW's fault, the service dept (D... Walski) and (D Bush) went above and beyond to transport my vehicle from TN, and install a new engine. I then traded it back in with VW Marietta for the exact same Jetta. Justin Wagner worked with me for a month to help me find a comparable Jetta for a great price. We walked into the Jim Ellis VW dealership yesterday looking to test drive a few cars and do some due diligence and drove out with a great new car. Thom Holmes, our sales consultant, took great care of us every step of the way. He answered every little question and knew every little thing about the car. We are looking forward to a long relationship.
Here's a first...I'm writing a review even though I didn't actually purchase my latest vehicle from this dealership. Another car won out over the 2 Volkswagens I was considering, but I had to write a positive review of this dealership because of the excellent service I received from my sales rep Mitchell. As a woman, I've seen it all in my car-buying experiences, and Mitchell was a first-class professional all the way. Even though I took my boyfriend with me, he made sure to treat me like the primary customer (since it was my money I was spending!), didn't give me a hard sell, and understood that I was someone who did my research before buying a vehicle. I actually felt bad buying a vehicle from another dealership because Mitchell was so nice! But he made the right impression, and I'm sure that they'll win my business in the future because of it.
I had an amazing experience at Jim Ellis Audi of Marietta. I stopped by some of the other Audi dealerships in the area and was immediately displeased with their inventory and customer service. From the moment that I walked into Jim Ellis Audi of Marietta, I was impressed with their customer service. The Internet Department was great in helping me find the car that I wanted with no pressure at all. Erikka Tiffani and team were all pleasant to work with and I got the car that I wanted at a great price. I will definitely be going back when i'm ready for my next Audi. I recommend this dealership to anyone that wants a good deal on a beautiful Audi and wants to be treated like a VIP throughout the entire process.
I have been here twice, and twice they have put the "sale" on me to get more service than my car needs. I may be a woman, but I do understand service checks and what and when certain services are needed. Today was too much when I he suggested I needed service and when did I want to schedule it? I said, I just had my car serviced 4000 miles ago, what is it now? and then, he started back tracking. This was after it took them 1.5 hours to attach my rear view mirror which is why I stopped by. I won't be back because I don't want to always have to watch my back for their charges.
My toureg was purchased at Jim Ellis with extended warranty.I took it in because the light on dash indicated problem and the car was shutting off randomly. After keeping the car for a week, the diagnosis was a paper in the exhaust/filter area which caused the light to come on and turn off the car. The service manager indicated that this would not be under the extended warranty because of a "foreign object" that entered the car. I always had my car only serviced at Jim Ellis so I was very disappointed in the entire experience and the $700 bill. A week of having my car with no lender to have a piece of paper the diagnosis not how you treat a customer that has bought 2 cars. The service manager displays an attitude that is not of customer satisfaction. I contacted VW of North America which assured me the dealership would contact me. I am still waiting and that was 3 months ago. VW of North America and Jim Ellis need to wake up! I have since purchased an american Tahoe from Raymond Chevrolet and the service is 4 star....so buy American where your dollars are appreciated by staff and service department!
I am a sales professional in financial services. And I of course run across people that are called sales professionals and usually nothing could be further from the truth. I write this to commend the True Sale Professionals I met at Jim Ellis VW. Only out of great respect do I ever write on these types of web sites. But they earned my respect and business, and will have my service business too. Great Job Guys.
I should have written this sooner, but forget, several weeks ago I purchased a New VW Jetta from Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Marietta. It was a great experience. My salesperson was knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend anyone looking for a new or used car to go there. You will not be disappointed.

I was referred to Jim Ellis Volkswagen from a co-worker of mine. He had bought several cars from them over the years and was obviously over joyed with the way he has been treated. So I went into thier store over last weekend, and was welcomed by thier Sales Person Thom Holmes. After telling him what I was trying to accomplish he provided me with more information than I ever expected from a car dealer. He was not pushy at all, then we narrowed it down to two cars I liked. But because financing and what my monthly payments would be, he offered to provide me with pricing on both, and how much the payments were. After seeing both of the cars and knowing what my cost was it was easy for me to make my decision. I have bought over 15 cars in my lifetime and never have I had a more easy and professional experience. I came in, with my 2 year old, wanting to look at a used vehicle. I had been in contact with two-three different people via emails and "online chat." Every person had a different answer. One person said it wasn't sold. A few days later, I contacted the dealership again and they said it was sold. Again, a few days after that I was searching for another used vehicle and the same one popped up. Again, I contacted the dealership and they said it was NOT sold. The very next day I went by there. First of all, no one came outside to greet me. Second, when I did go inside I asked if I could see the vehicle and I got the run around. They said that there was a gentleman coming to "look at the car and might buy it, on Saturday" (this was Tuesday). I said, "so it hasn't been sold yet?" "No it hasn't yet, but if the guy decides not to buy the car then we can call you. I have pictures on my phone if you want to look at it; we would have to go to another location to look at the actual vehicle." THEN this morning, 4 days later I get an email from the initial contact asking if I would still like to look at the vehicle and it is still on the lot. Look at a customer in the eye, no one is a waste of your time, have everyone on the same page.
I bought my Honda Accord from you all 2 years ago today, and I am still loving it! No major problems and I have gotten so many compliments on the car. Thanks!--Theresa Steadman
