This business is 25 minutes away from us, however they would not offer a quote because of our postal city "Dallas". I am not trying to disparage the company, but rather trying to get a message to the... owner that his service area may be being miscommunicated to his clients. If indeed his service area is less than 15 minutes from his office, good for him!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I have used Dixon Painting for over 10 years on two different houses in Alpharetta. They have consistently done a great job on interior and exterior painting, as well as alot of other home... remodelling and handyman kind of jobs. The crew is neat, on time, trustworthy, leaves a clean job site, and is cost efficient. I highly recommend them, and have lots of times, with favorable comments.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We have used Dixon Painting several years ago and were very pleased with their work. Again, we have found them to be excellent. They work as a team and strive to provide customers with outstanding service from start to finish. Ian did an excellent job of reviewing the work to be done, writing it up and e-mailing the estimate. He was extremely professional and the amount was right on. He kept me informed about when the painters would be scheduled and showed up the morning they started work to make sure they knew exactly what work needed to be done. The painters were very professional and they really cared about the quality of their work. They used the best products, moved and covered all the furniture and used drop cloths on the floors. In a few hours someone from the company came to inspect their work and to make sure that things were going well. Much to my surprise toward the end of the day the owner, Fernando Dixon, came to check on the painters work. As with any project there are always a few adjustments that need to be made. What makes a company special is how they make those adjustments. The company sent Juan who did an outstanding job of making sure that all the corrections were made. Dixon Painting did a great job. My husband and I were very pleased with the quality of their work, their professionalism and that they really cared about pleasing the customer. It was a pleasure to work with Dixon Painting.

Very hard working and efficient, they show up on time every day and all the painters worked hard and their daily clean up was great.I will recommend them to my friends.
Everything they painted looks great. Made me realize that I need to paint my other rooms. The garage floor looks amazing.Thaks again and we will calling for the rest of the house.
These guys at Dixon Painting were professionals. Dixon Painting transformed our hall, stairs and foyer into a breath of fresh air. I was impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. I can't ask for anything more than what they did, they not only did what they were supposed to do, they surpassed it! I HIGHLY recommend Dixon Painting.
First off they answer their phones! There is always someone who is there to help. I called Dixon Painting after they finished up with one of my close friends home. The job looks fantastic and the experience was great! Ian worked with me on every aspect of this job including changing colors. He even did samples for me free of charge. Overall everyone who I have worked with from the office staff to the painters were very courteous and professional. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.
Employes are prompt and pleasant to work with. Supervisor checked in every day to make sure I was happy with the job.
Sloppy work, they don't english, they won't come back to fix problems! I wouldn't use them again!!!
Excellent customer service, great attitude and phenomenal team work,Dixon just finish the exterior of my home and it was a great experience, thanks for the hard work.
Very good painters, they did what thet toll me and and work hard every day to make sure that me and my wife were happy with the final product. Thanks Dixon painting for your help.
The crew was courteous, polite and friendly, all carpentry was very well done and the painting was neat, they clean every day after work.
Workers were on time, very friendly and did a very good job. We had a peeling metal roof and they worked hard and long i a hot weather to make sure we had a sooth finish on our metal roofs. They did an exelend job, going over areas that were not included in the estimate. I will highly recommend them to others in the neighborhood.
Proceed with caution if you plan on using Dixon Painting. A month ago, a salesperson came out to give us an estimate. The price was great and we told them we'd like for them to do the job. I even called this salesperson back the next day to make sure that the price included everything (carpentry, trim, etc.) and he said "yes." However, the day the painters were set to arrive (after being postponed twice, mind you), the salesperson called and told me that he had done the estimate wrong and it was off by roughly $1000. Seriously?! How would you miss that? Then, he proceeeds to tell me that his boss said they would honor the price quoted but would not offer a warranty on it so as not to incur any additional losses on the project down the road. I was told how the salesperson was giving up his commission and being fined for the mistake, but they wanted to stand by their word (but not stand by their product). They were trying to make their mistake my problem! Obviously, I decided not to work with company with such faulty business practices. They were trying to get rid of me -- and it worked. We went with another company who is doing the work cheaper than Dixon's "real" price and is doing a great job. I'm now wary of these big companies and their salespeople who clearly aren't painters and don't understand what they are doing. And their bosses behind the desk who don't care about customer satisfaction.
The "white glove" service is a joke. No one came by to help us with the paint colors. The 1st crew showed up asking for the paint and left. The sales guy Antonio 678-201-3567 came back and tried to make things right. We gave them a bark sample and asked for satin finish. Later, we realize they used gloss paint. Antonio came back and said they were matching the current finish "in my 16 years experience, this paint on your house is semi-gloss". Well, the builder's painters left behind the paint formula and finish inside the fusebox. He was quiet after that. What fustrates us more is that it has not been 2 weeks and the paint is starting to bubble and peel. I've been told this could be because they failed to scrape the old paint before the new paint. Also, we had a brand-new wooden door installed a week ago. We gave them a 3 day notice as requested. The painter showed up with NO PAINT AGAIN. They primed it. Called the office and they were suppose to come out 2 days ago. They were a NO SHOW, no excuses, no appology. We called yesterday and they did show up today WITHOUT LADDERS. The last straw is the fact that the new door looks like it's warped. I paid in full when they asked for the check. PLEASE, IF YOU IGNORE THIS POST AND USE THEM ANYWAY, DO NOT PAY THEM IN FULL BEFORE EVERYTHING IS INSPECTED. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. I will post pictures of their "work" on my house after checking with my attorney.
