I found Joe recently and was very pleased with the service. The job was done very quickly, and his prices are super reasonable. He was very careful to explain what was going wrong and how we could get it fixed. I will never take my families vehicles anywhere else. Thanks Joe!

My wife and I have used ABS for all maintenance and repairs on my 3 cars for the last 3 years. I have always been pleased with the quality, price, and timeliness of service (Oil/Electrical/AC/ etc). Last March, ABS replaced my Jeep '00 Wrangler radiator. 15 months later, the radiator failed. I knew from the receipt that both the parts & labor were out of warranty. I was hoping for a discount on the repair, or maybe some advice on better radiator products to use, I was delighted when ABS replaced and installed a new radiator under warranty, with absolutely no charge to me! Joe's staff are always polite and professional. I recommend ABS to all my friends

I have taken my car to ABS for years. I recently got a new car and took it to Joe for maintenance. I trust him more than the dealer. I was in and out in no time. Joe is very honest, customer service oriented and has great prices. They do everything for cars there, not just brakes. It's the only auto shop I will take my car to.

For all concerned about the review, we ask you to take a minute out of your time to call other reputable places and price out the services we performed on the gentleman's fiance 03 BMW 325I. Full synthetic oil change ($89.99) Front brake service, included original equipment ATE pads, rotors, brake wear sensor and labor ($339.96) A brake fluid flush ($69.99) Air filter ($25.99) Both drive belts and labor ($265.59) A $5.00 shop supplies charge applied to every ticket for non billable items like brake cleaner, grease etc. All the services where performed after a full estimate was given less $15.96 in sales tax. For BMW operators, you all know these prices are lower than most. I guess we can not please everyone.
At another shop I had a brake job and was not happy with the service or price. Within two months I totaled the car and replaced it with a 2009 Toyota Camry that also needed brakes. This time I researched to find a shop that was honest and did good work. American Brake, Joe Shlomov, 1310 Johnson Ferry Rd. had good reviews compared to other shops so I decided to give them a try. Very happy with the excellent service, fair price and courtesy that offered driving me to the nearby coffee shop while I waited. Patrick gave me a choice of repair or replace, which I appreciated. Additionally, I knew that I needed wheel alignment, but I did not know how worn the tires were, which Patrick showed me. All fluids were topped as part of their service. Patrick gives truly outstanding service and even though it is more than a 45 min. drive for me it was well worth it for sure. Highly recommend. Thanks Joe and Patrick

We have been using American Brake Service for 7+ years. Joe, Patrick and the guys are great to deal with. Recently had a repair they quoted and the problem was WAY more extensive than expected. Joe stood by his quote, even though we did not expect him too. They worked over time to get the repair done. Great service, competitive pricing and work they stand behind. We would HIGHLY recommend ABS to anyone looking for a car service you can depend on. Joe is the owner and always pleasant and fair to deal with!! Best mechanics in East Cobb, Marietta and Atlanta! Don't hesitate to take your car to them for anything!!

My BMW 2001 been in that shop for 7 days due to work on "engine lingh on", when I picked the car, the problem still was there and car was driving much worse ! I called mechanic and said: " you didn't fix and car drives worse that before I brought to your shop" He replied: " I didn't have time to check my work, come back I'll see that I ca do" I called owner of the shop, his name is Joe Shlomov and he said: " that mechanic doesnt work for me, he is independent contractor and I don't know his last name". Mechanic doesnt answer his phone and I guess if he didnt fix the car in the first place, why he would do it in the second ? Mechanic name is David ( don't know his last name) stay away from him and that shop !!! Joe just add comments on my complaint, I need to inform consumer, that my car been in shop for 7 days and now it drives worse. Before repairs there been problems with code: PO500 and PO420,however, now car has 12 codes and even air hose from pump been "repaired" with the electic tape. The next day after my review Joe and David called me and threatened me with law suits. stay away.

Miss Lana Parker purchased the BMW as a used car from David as-is. This was an agreement between the both of them. Four months later she had an emmisions problem with it. She was told what the problem is, and she refused to fix it. The issue with the car has no affiliation with American Brakes and Foreign Car Service.
Joe and David just replaced the engine in our daughter's 2000 323i BMW. As always top notch service everytime from these guys! Very honest and very reliable. Also they perform regular service on our 2007 BMW and Ford F150. Thanks.

Customer came in with a 'loud sqeal when applying brakes'complaint. On test driving her vehicle heard the noise coming from the rear brakes. We inspected the rear brakes and told her that she had 30% life left on the rear brake shoes and the brake drums had big groves in them. We gave her two options 1) Replace the rear shoes and drums $411.28 or 2) Replace the rear shoes and resurface the drums, an option that would compromise pedal height due to the amount of material it would take to clear the groves $271.48. The 8000 miles life left that Steve Rayman Chevrolet told her corresponds to the 30% that we did, however, they did not offer a solution to the 'loud squeal'problem that the customer came in for.
I have been using the same auto shop for years. Every time I went there I was charged $85.00 just to look at my car. The check engine soon light came on so I decided to give abs auto a try. They test drove the car and it was a computer glich. They reset the light. Because there was no problem Joe and company did not charge me a penny! They now have a customer for life.
