Fast and Effective
My husband and I started using Bartlett in 2010 and they have NOT disappointed! They are all friendly and get the job done! What else can you ask for. Their communication is great and we could not be more pleased. Thank you!

Overcharge and Unecessary Repairs
We have been pleased with Bartlett over the past two years with the level of service received at our home. About a year ago, the repair tech tried to sell my wife a new capacitor on our then three-year old system (and fortunately she called me before buying). But otherwise we have been happy.

But we are extremely unhappy with the repairs performed at our rental home this past Friday. Bartlett replaced a circuit board on the HVAC unit there, and then sold my wife a new capacitor (this time before I could let her know now to buy it). Total repair charge - $740. The parts cost about $150 to $200. They also still charged us a $40 diagnostic charge.

Lesson learned: Make sure to evaluate very carefully what Bartlett is trying to sell you and negotiate with them before accepting a repair. Maybe our experience is due to the particular tech involved. The positive reviews on this site would suggest this is not a systemic issue. But very costly lesson learned for us.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to see that you ranked our quality and service high. You mentioned the capacitor that we installed at your rental home and had recommended at your primary residence in the past. Capacitors are one of the more common components that wear out on a system due to their almost continuous usage. Run capacitors run each time your blower motor, condenser motor or compressor runs, so it is almost constantly working. While servicing your system, our technician will test the microfarads on the capacitor to ensure that it is running at full capacity per the manufacturers specifications. If it is outside the range, we will recommend replacing it. When the run capacitor is not running at full capacity, it can cause the motor to become noisy, increase energy consumption, cause performance to drop and/or cause the motor to overheat. It is much less expensive to replace a capacitor than a motor or compressor. We do encourage as much preventative maintenance as possible, which actually decrease your overall costs and helps to prevent breakdowns. Please know that we do take each review to heart and really consider what we could have done differently or better. Your business is important to us and we want you to be pleased with each service we provide. At Bartlett, we will always test your system thoroughly, provide you will all of the information we gather, provide you with our professional opinion, answer any questions and then allow you to make the decision that is best for you and your family. If you ever choose not to have one of our recommendations performed, it is no problem at all. Everyone at Bartlett will work hard not only to keep your system running as efficiently as possible, but make sure you feel that you have received outstanding service each time. Excellent Pricing and Services
Needed a new unit upstairs. Gave us 4 choices explained them all. No pressure, worked with us on all levels. Installed on time, and just as promised. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Price somewhat high.
I have no complaints about the quality of the service I received from Bartlett. The tech was very professional.

The issue is price. The prices charged to me are similar to what I would get if I went with one of the well-known companies with a bazillion reviews on Kudzu. I was able to save a significant amount of money after checking with neighbors who referred me to a small HVAC company that charged alot less for a similar level of service.

While we truly wish that we could have retained your business, we understand that sometimes price can be an issue. We do feel like our price is very fair though, as our technicians are of the highest caliber and receive continual training in order to offer this professional service. Our price does reflect the value of the service received and the quality of technician that we send into each of our customers homes. Excellent, professional and reliable
Last summer my a/c stopped working and I chose Bartlett after reading the positive reviews on Kudzu. The technician fixed my problem quickly and was very personable. Later I chose Bartlett to replace my heating and cooling system and they made the process very easy. My whole house is much more even in temperature now. I love their commitment to quality service and I like being treated as a valued customer.
