Great Dentist
I have been a patient of Dr.Woods for 20 years. I have an implant, crowns, bridges, an inlay and several root canals. His work is excellent.He has come in on weekends for emergency work on my children.You can do no better then Dr. Woods for dental work.

Awesome Dentist, Incompetent Front Office Staff
I have been a patient of Dr.Woods for over 20 years. I drive quite a distance to visit his offices and would highly recommend him. Unfortunately, over the years, his office staff leaves something to be desired. The receptionist that never answered the phone or returned phone calls finally left, which was a good thing. But the other staff that deals with the billing is incompetent. I have spent months trying to get bills straightened out. But today I actually received a bill that listed a credit for my husband who passed away 5 years ago and a charge for my daughter that had not visited in over 9 months. I will call, like I always do, and they will say that it will be straightened out and then I will get the same bill the next month. I will continue to go to Dr. Woods because he is an incredible dentist but I truly wish he would straighten out his office staff, they are driving business away!

Wow. And I don't mean that in a good way
I've been a patient here for a while. It's very disappointing to see such high turnover. After dealing with a very incompetent front desk for years they finally landed someone who really knew what she was doing. Well she left sometime early last year. When I went recently I see they had to hire what seems to be 3 or 4 girls to replace her. Too bad, because she still did a better job then all them combined. I thought it strange when she left, she really knew what she was doing. But now! My favorite hygienist is gone and I don't know if I'll be returning. I think Dr. Woods is a great dentist but I have to wonder "what's going on that they can't keep a decent staff". I've worked corporate all my life and I've seen great employees come and go. The problem usually falls in the hands of poor management. I use to really enjoy going to my 6 month visits. Liz was so personable and detailed. I considered staying but after much thought I can not. There is a reason why those girls left and it just doesn't sit well with me.

Staff Lacks Customer Service Skills
I have been a patient of Dr. Woods for more than 10 years. While I think he is a good dentist, he does have a very high turnover in his staff, specifically those working in the front office. The current ones are lack the knowledge at getting claims submitted in a timely manner and have NO follow up skills. For some reason, it takes them weeks, if not months, to get a claim submitted electronically to the carrier. As a result, I am leaving Dr. Woods as it should not be my responsibility to continuously follow up with the staff just to get a dental claim submitted.

There are too many other well qualified dentists in Atlanta who hire competent staff and would certainly provide a far better level of customer service than Dr. Woods' staff.

Dr.Woods is 1of theBestDentists I found Worldwide!
I picked Dr.Woods of several recommended Top Dentists in Atlanta, Georgia. Had no Insurance (I'm from Germany where Healthcare was never really a problem). I needed immediate visual service, regarding pristine aesthetics, the perfect smile. Dr.Woods is so open minded to his patients & newcomers he offers his private cell-number on his business-voicemail, that in itself made my choice easier. He returned my "cry 4help within 24hours" and without hesitation set an appointment first hand the next day to perform on me intense first class oral surgery. He never even thought to abandon the entire, cause of monetary focus whatsoever, till my visual presence was re-established!!! Btw, I am in sales; Commission-based only!!! I've experienced the best in Dentistry, he outweighs & shines all of them with his keen benign humane professionalism & willingness to perform beyond his "Call of Duty". Mr.Woods is the "Act of pure serene Valor!!!" My front tooth just broke saturday morning its Monday night I "sport" the superior mega smile, lol and a thorough "overhauled" entire rows of teeth. He by far isn't close to just focus on money (of course we all know dental-work is close to plastic surgery cost!!) nevertheless he is focused to make ur smile worthwhile for life!!! Cares more about money than patient care
I have been a patient of Dr. Woods since 2003. I like him as a person, but I feel that he is more concerned with making money than over all patient care.
I really like my hygienist at his office (the many many I have had), and she does a great job. However, my teeth are heavily stain, and takes about an hour or longer to clean. The last few times I had my teeth cleaned - my appointment time was much shorter.
I was told the appointment(s) had been reduced in time. Not to mention, I have been a patient at both of his offices, and he always has broken equipment.
I will not be going back. Now, I know why his turnover rate (office staff) is substantial.
