My first experience with Barron's was on Fathers Day and a Sunday in July 2009. We lost our AC and the house was 96 degrees inside. Most companies I called would not come or wanted to charge a large... after hours fee, so I looked on Kudzu.com to find a reputable company. Barron's came and fixed my AC within hours of my call. Since then I have used them annually for repairs. This year my unit went out for good. David came out and gave us a great price and an amazing new Amana AC unit. I couldn't be more satisfied with a HVAC company. Barron's offers honesty, integrity, prompt and professional service at a great price. Look no further for your AC needs. Love these guys. Best choice I have ever made in a contractor!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Jerry is a stellar technician. We contacted Barron's to install a new hvac system and heat pump. Barron's had the most reasonable price, Jerry was out every day, answering our numerous, numerous... questions on the system, he troubleshot the problems that arose in a timely fashion, and most importantly, Jerry did it all with the most excellent customer service I have come across recently, and he was incredibly responsive to all of our texts, emails and phone calls. I will be recommending Barron's (specifically, Jerry), to others.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
last wednesday my fiance called your company because we had a major leak from our upstairs unit. the tech that came out to us was Mr.Sam Beyers and Mr. Charlie Wright. We let your company know that we had not alot of money and that we needed fixed especially because i have a son that is mentally challenged and was diagnosed with cancer. Sam promissed to fix the leak and sove our problems for sixty dollars. He then installed a drip pan pipe coming out of the side of my house, he also told us he was an inspector. To say the least it would have never passed code and the upstairs unit continued to leak and the sysytem was shut down. We than called snellville heating and air they came in and solved our leaks took the pipe that your tech put on the outside of my house cleaned up insallated and did not charge us a penny.we are very grateful to snellville heating and air for their professional job well done.
We’re frankly surprised to see this review and rechecked paperwork. This is what we found: when Sam originally went into the attic on Wednesday, May 30th, he discovered that a new evaporator coil had been installed with the original drain pan of the old evaporator coil sitting underneath it. The old drain pan was 12 in x 18 in; the new coil needed a 36 x 36. The primary drain for the evaporator coil was stopped up, and since the secondary drain had not been plugged or capped off, this caused water to come out of the secondary drain. Because the drain pan catching the water was too small for the coil, you ended up with water on your attic floor. That day, we installed a vent drain on the secondary drain and were unable to free the blockage on the primary drain despite our best efforts. We informed the home owner that a new drain pan was needed, and that the main drain line would need to be rerun. Our tech returned on Saturday with help to rerun the main drain line to the outside of the building, install the correct drain pan, install a float switch and wire it into the system, and checked the charge on the condensor. The techs also found two disconnect boxes outside that had been used for the old condensers. The boxes had power going to them, so they were dangerous and needed to be disconnected. They took care of that. They found that the new lines that had been used by whoever installed the new coil had been tied into the old line set that ran through the house. This was a possible problem because the two lines have different sizes. The old line set was 3/4 x 5/16 whereas the manufacturer of the new unit requires the line set to be 3/4 x 3/8 to allow proper flow of refrigerant to the compressor. After we left, the water backed up again, but because we had put the float switch on the new drain pan, the unit switched off and this saved the attic floor. We set up an appointment to come back out to see what else needed to be done and to make sure the coil was level. Before we could come out, we received a call telling us that a new company had been contacted and had been out there to do the final adjustments. They were not able to charge you because of all the work we had already done. And we took care of all the work for $60 knowing you were in a difficult situation. We worked hard to go the exta mile for you. A thank you would have been nice.
I bought a HUD forecloser and closed on it late Feb. The outside unit had be stolen. I called David on the afternoon of March 2nd and he gave me a quote and we made a deal on a complere system that afternoon. The David and the guys did the install on the 3rd. I didn't have my gas turn on until today, Oct. 16th. I called David yest and told him that the city of Lawrenceville was suppose to turn my gas on today. He said he would be here around 4. Like he said he came went under the house checked my unit out and got my heat going just like he promise back in March when they did the install. Barron's is a top-notch company to deal with. Professional, Great price's, and very nice people. Great job guys. MM, Lawrenceville
We have spent the past couple of weeks shopping around, trying to find the best deal on a new gas furnace. Barron's gave us the most reasonable price estimate and warranty terms. Raymond sold us the unit and David installed it, and both were friendly and professional. I would recommend Barron's to anyone.
Exceptional service. The first time they came at a moment's notice, late on a weekday evening. Randal sized up my situation very quickly and communicated my options to me in very precise and clear language. He did not pressure me into any particular solution, as a salesman might. Yet he offered his advice when I asked. I required a second service call, but not due to anything they missed on the first call. The second call they installed new AC coils and a furnace. The work is clean. It appears they crafted an easily accessed slot for my air filters. The installers were clean and professional. They left no trash behind.
The wife called and was pleased with the communication over the phone, so she set up an appointment. The tech(Raymond) showed up on time and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He had the parts on hand, fixed it and was done within 30 mins. Good service & great communication = a happy customer. Thanks, James
David was excellent. I interrupted his breakfast this morning with my a/c problem. He said he would be here within the hour and was true to his word. He diagnosed and fixed everything in less than 45 mins. He also provided excellent maintenance tips. The price was so reasonable that we had him upgrade our thermostat also.
My experience with the service tech Raymond was excellent. He promptly responded to a Sunday call and diagnosed the AC problem. He offered at least 3 solutions to fit my budget which I really appreciated.
Our air was working sometimes and not others. Ace and A charged us $229 to clean the outside unit. It went out again, called Barron's, Raymond was there in 20 minutes and replaced a switch in 15 minutes. It was working when he repaired it - Ace said they could not find what was wrong if the unit was working. The bill for Barron's was $95. Raymond was wonderful and even gave me tip on ways to help cooling. Honest, friendly, knowledgeable, excellent.
Called on a saturday afternoon and they were there within 30 min. explained and showed all the problems and resolutions. would recommend them to anyone!
I called with my air not working and they responded and repaired my air unit in less than and hour. Thanks for the quick responce.
Very courteous. Honest, and knowledgeble. Will definitely call for future issues. Highly recommended.
I have recently made a unit purchase from your company and was very pleased with the salesman, and that your guys done the job in one day!!! Very nice job done with the duct work Installation crew. Would recommend highly!! Keep up the good work gentlemen!
We called on 6/22 at 11:44 am, guy came out and fixed our A/C at 1:15 pm in Norcross, Ga. Great experience, I will use them again!
Called the company and they came over the same day. Fixed the Air and gave me a description of the problem. Even took off their shoes every time they came into the house. Great service and fair price, would highly recommend.
I would highly recommend David Barron for any heating and air needs. Work was done fast and efficient. Everytime I called he was here the next day. Everywhere else was a month long wait! Thanks David!
You know how you call some places and the guy that shows up at your door totally creeps you out and you want to hide your valuables and children? Well, not with David Barron. Not only does he talk to you with respect and understanding, he really seems to know what he's doing and understands HVAC inside and out. Plus, he doesn't give you the creeps! We had an entire HVAC system pulled out and replaced, and his company was efficient, careful, and they were the only ones that didn't try to oversell me on some monster oversized inefficient system! He's on my "I've got a guy" list for HVAC when friends ask.
