I had a complex electrical system for a koi pond, landscape lights and irrigation system the result of 10 years of incremental changes. Michael Williams efficiently diagnosed the electrical short problem, greatly simplified the wiring and replaced a receptacle and GFCI. Did a great job. I'll have Michael and Lightning Bug back for any electrical problem.

James came out today to replace a flush mount with a chandelier. He was efficient, courteous and professional and took the time to make sure existing wiring was done correctly and was safe. Will definitely use them again!

Scheduled service with Lightning Bug Electric to repair a fried kitchen outlet on my 10-year old home. James did an awesome job installing the replacement outlet. He also evaluated my circuit breaker and other kitchen outlets and confirmed that my homebuilder had done excellent work. I appreciated James feedback and I highly recommend Lightning Bug Electric for their quality service.
We had an electrical emergency over the weekend and they were right out. Duaine was great in diagnosing the problem and gave us options to fix rather than just trying to run up the bill. I had them out once before and if I need more electrical work, will definitely have them out again!!

August 5, I had Leo and Jaison out to the house for some electrical work. They were fantastic, neat and clean, cleaned as they went from task to task, no do-overs, answered all my wife's questions (and I am sure there were many). Recommend them for all jobs, large or small.
Worst customer service ever!!! Do not use Lightning Bug Electric! The electrician lied, oversold and didn't actually solve the problem. Completely dishonest, and refused to solve or even attempt to fix a problem after the issue was "fixed" the day before. The management, call center and electrician do not communicate because when I called about the problem, they dismissed it to the duty of the electrician. Definitely unprofessional. In addition, after our electrical issue was 'fixed' and the next day we had issues, we called the management, where they told us that everyone was 'booked solid' for a week. After being oversold and under-delivered on the first trip, and finally got them back out to fix the issue as discussed, we told them that we would not be paying them as they have already ate into our pockets. After previously "fixing" our fixture by rewiring and finding wiring issues, the electrician said that the company does not rewire of any sort. So what's the beef? When he came out and discussed the issue with us, he said that he even gave us a "deal" of not putting the labor on the receipt after selling us more BS. We didn't want the other add ons, we wanted our fixture fixed! After they came out and told us they'd be charging us...we told them to leave and that we'd probably do a better job ourselves. Guess what we did?!

Lightning Bug Electric and specifically Bobby and Jaison did a fantastic job on a number of problems I had. They were informative, keeping me in the loop. They did what they said they would do and faster than I thought possible. I give them a 10 out of 10 and will certainly use them again.
I am selling my house and the inspection was same day as the panel upgrade. I was so stressed about having to leave for inspection and the electricians did a great job of working around this. Top notch techs, so glad I went with this company, will recommend and use again

This was the first time we used an electrician since moving to Atlanta. We wanted a surge protector installed in my parents' townhome. Very easy transaction. I used Kudzu to find Lightning Bug Electric through reviews (thanks, again, fellow reviewers)--this was again a great call. Liked the emphasis on a team lead being a master electrician. I called and found out that they did do work in my parents' neck of the woods. They made it an easy call. I got a reminder call a couple of days ahead. We got Bobby--who arrived right on time. My parents really liked him alot. He was patient with them: took the time that was needed to diagnose and fix the electrical issues that needed to be addressed. In addition to the work we requested (the installation of a surge protector), he also found 2 circuit breakers needed to be replaced and showed my parents that you could tell this was the case from the fact that they were warm to the touch. He wasn't in a hurry to get out of there--Bobby took his time. And my parents felt he was an honest person and wasn't trying to find any additional (unneeded) work to pad the bill. He explained everything that was needed and didn't lobby for anything else to be done. I would definitely call upon Lightning Bug Electric again (and hope to get Bobby)! They also offer senior/military discounts, which is really appreciated.
Had a bedroom with no electric, trouble shot as far as I could then called Lightning Bug. Two technicians arrived and I informed them of the problem. They let me know the price to fix the problem and then proceeded to troubleshoot. With in just over 20 minutes they concluded a loose wire in the adjoining bedroom was the issue. There were no high tech tools used just a circuit tester and experience.They traced the issue to a ceiling fan wire and sure enough there it was, a wire that had come loose from the wire nut. Once connected the dead bedroom came on. I was impressed with both technicians ability to find something that I would not have found otherwise. The price was a little more than I was hoping to spend but they had a coupon available which helped.They also provided information of other items that may need attention in the future and the price of those services.I will use Lightning Bug in the future for any electrical needs.
