This was my first service experience with Jim Ellis Audi. My Sale Associate, Early Pickett introduced me to Mike during my delivery day of my 2012 A6 3.0T quattro, so I remembered and went to Mike immediately when I pulled up to the service facility. Mike greeted me with professionalism. He reviewed my notes that were provided over the phone during my service appt call. We walked the vehicle and he had complete knowledge of what was required. He produced a level of confidence that Jim Ellis Audi will take care of all the needs required for this service. Mike called me during the time period that he estimated which was very helpful while planning my very busy schedule. The rental experience was excellent as well. Your staff was very kind & helpful, & I have never had such a pleasant experience with a service department at a car dealership! I could not have asked for anyone to be any nicer, any more helpful, & any more willing to be of assistance. That is not what one generally expects when taking a car in to be worked on...usually you expect "don't worry little lady, we'll handle this, we don't expect you to understand what's going on here." That was not the case with your service department! They fully explained to me the issue, how it was resolved, & when it would be ready! Also, as I live near Macon, they were especially helpful in the use of a loaner car. I dropped off my A4 on Thursday morning & needed to get back to work. Even though repairs were done late that afternoon, Mike asked when I was coming back to Atlanta so it would be convenient & not an extra trip for me to pick up my car. I was planning a trip back to Atlanta for shopping with my mother Saturday, & he was gracious enough to allow me to keep the loaner car until then. I cannot say enough wonderful things about your staff! Your staff Saturday morning was especially helpful & had my car ready, washed & ready to go waiting on me! Excellent service! I truly love my "new" A4 & am actually looking forward to the next time I have to come to the dealership for service, as odd as that sounds...
Believe the poor reviews. They are very true. Most of the excellent comments are from staff. Use Nalley Audi, much much more honest. These guys will rip you apart without your knowledge.
"The entire Jim Ellis staff was great. Nikki at the front desk was very organized, had our paperwork ready when we arrived and was extremely courteous. The lady who first helped us in service was also tremendous. And Chris Lastinger, our original salesman, greated us when we arrived. The service was performed very promptly and the service manager called both upon vehicle check in and as soon as the vehicle was ready for pick-up as promised. Obviously, having the water pump go out at 9,000 miles was not our favorite, but the Jim Ellis staff were exceptional in handling the problem for us. Buying a vehicle from your dealership has been the most pleasant experience, especially due to the great customer service by Chris. He was very professional and co-operative from the very beginning of our contact. He was always prompt in his responses and delivered exactly what we had asked for. We came all the way from Toronto and believe me, we were not disappointed! We asked for many documents that were required for the import of the vehicle and Chris was always ready to go above and beyond to meet our needs. I had to drive to SC one Thursday to perform some puppet shows in the afternoon. Wed my brakes starting making horrible noises. They got me in Thur morning, fixed them & did my 30,000 mile service in time for me to get on the road! My only complaint is that when I had the brakes inspected not long ago, they said they were "fine". Had they been more specific about the remaining wear, I wouldn't have put off getting them dome to the point where it became an emergency.

7 months ago I brought my 2000 VW Beetle in to have the AC repaired. They replaced the fuse panel on top of the battery and that fixed the AC problem. During that time they told me that I also needed other repairs done such as water pump etc. I ended up spending almost $2,000 on repairs. The next day my AC went out again so I brought it back in and was told that my radiator fans are going out and I need to replace them for $900. They were able to fix my AC in the meantime and told me that I can try it out and see if it’ll last. 7 months later, my car died at an intersection 40 miles away from this dealer. The fuse panel cable burned up completely in half. The cable looked as though someone crammed it into the battery compartment which caused the wires to touch the battery post that caused it to erode over time until it had completely eroded in half. I had to go to the nearest VW dealer to get the $100 part to replace the one they replaced 7 months before and install it myself. After replacing the fuse panel I called them to tell them that the part they replaced 7 months before was destroyed and how dangerous it would’ve been if I was driving on the freeway. I didn’t get any apologizes at all, just an explanation that the warranty had been voided since I did not have it fixed by them. This is the day before Thanksgiving… do you think that I would’ve gotten my car back the same day if I did? I seriously doubt it. I’ll never go back and I will never recommend them.

Jeremy was amazing. It was low pressure, he answered our questions honestly and directly and kept us informed as we were waiting for our car to be delivered. Jeremy asked questions about how we drove and really sought to understand what were looking for in a car before he start to show a single car. His friendly attitude and professionalism were well appreciated. This is my second car buying experience and this was hands down 100% better than the last experience at the last dealership. Even on "paperwork day" Rob did a great job explaining everything and walking us through the process. He really made the feeling of sliding a check across the table comforting. Between Jeremy and Rob, we really felt like we were in good hands. We are looking forward to that same level of service when we bring our new A4 in for service and when the lease is up and it is time start the process over again.

Rick Fortnam has been the definition of what a customer facing individual should be. He is ALWAYS courteous, he knows me by name when I arrive, my loaner car is always available as promised, my car is clean and ready when promised. He IS customer service. I am in sales, and our manager challenges us to "under promise and over deliver" - and I can't think of a better phrase to describe Rick's service. As a result, he gained my commitment to exclusively use Jim Ellis Audi for my service needs over a year ago - and I have been nowhere else since.
