First rate in all aspects!
In late October of 2011 we had a whole house replacement of 25 single pane wooden windows (original, 35 years old). We received three estimates prior to our decision to select Champion. While the Champion price was slightly higher than the middle quote, we felt it was still quite reasonable. We decided to go with Champion due to their rep for quality and because we felt it was a company that would be there in the long run in spite of this less than stellar economy. Mack Scaife (highly recommend, 679-768-9134) was our salesman & he worked much harder for the sale than the other 2 company's reps, was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and could answer any question we had on the spot. Rose at the Champion office handled our install scheduling, and took a genuine personal interest to make sure everything went smoothly. She was extraordinary in her attention and kindness. The four man crew she selected for us did an excellent job with both the install and the clean up in a single day. The windows have been great over the past 11+ months. We've experienced all four seasons and find that they insulate us from outside noise much better and indeed keep the house cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Utility bills reflect the improvement. Champion's quality appears to be as claimed, and our experience with their staff shows they have genuine concern for getting the job done right the first time and are proud of the product they sell. Would definitely use Champion again

High pressure sales
First price was way high, then I was offered a discount to sign the contract today, then I told him I wanted to get additional quotes and was offered a lower "competitive" price but again only if I signed a contract right then. I think they have a good product but I won't buy from a company who uses this type of sales tactics.

Snake oil salesman
Back around Christmas I made the mistake of calling Champion for a window replacement estimate. For an entire hour i was talked down to during a rushed high pressure half full of BS sales pitch. Their scam is bill each window out at a bogus list price (around $2100!!!) then at the very end of the presentation they show you the total and give you a 'discount' of about 35% if you agree to some of their gimmicks. I lied to the salesman and told him I couldn't make a decision without first asking my wife just so I could get him out the door. I feel sorry for anyone who has grossly overspent with this company. I called Window World the next week, received a comparable window for less $300/per and they installed my windows 3 weeks later.

Beautiful Doors
We had 2 sliding glass doors installed to replace our drafty old french doors in our kitchen and dining room. Wow! What a difference it made in both rooms in regards to temperature control and overall comfort of the room. Our view out over our backyard is beautiful too! The entire sales, ordering, and install process was very efficient.

The head of the crew
The head of the crew was very professional. When they came out to do the measuring, they brought someone else to be doubly sure of the measurements. On the whole, they were very professional.
