Broke my stuff, lied to me, couldn't believe reply
Shocked at all of the positive reviews on here. The broke several of my items and damage a door at my old house. They lied to me about replacing or fixing the broken items. The owner, Orlando Lynch, would not take my call and told one of his employees to tell me to drop it or speak to his attorney. It is the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Do not use Atlanta Peach Movers.

At the risk of sounding like a presidential debate, I have to respond to Mr. Boone's reply especially to the information that is just not true. When the items broke, the head mover got in touch with his supervisor and they both told us it would be completely replaced 100% even though we had only chosen the $300 coverage. That was a lie. I am fully aware that Atlanta Peach Movers is not legally responsible to replace the broken items. However, I was hoping to get good customer service. I requested the owner call me on several occasions just so that I could discuss the matter with him. Instead of taking my call or calling me back he asked his employees to deal with me. We exchanged a couple of emails of which were not very pleasant on his part in my opinion and he has threatened me with police and legal action. He also has told me that he will not continue support a charity that I am involved with as well because of this. Shameful in my opinion. I don't care about the money. It was terrible customer service from the owner.

If you are doing a move within Georgia, you have three valuation options available. (Please note that movers are not insurance agents and are not licensed to sell insurance). Instead, movers have valuation which is a contractual limit of liability. Every mover in Georgia uses the same form called The Addendum to Uniform Household Goods Bill of Lading. It is required to be signed prior to the move. Most people choose Option1 because it is included at no additional cost. It has a maximum payout of $300.00. Option 2A is available for purchase at a rate of $11.30 per thousand with a $0 deductible. Option 2B has a premium of $3.75 per thousand but comes with a $300.00 deductible. The guidelines for additional valuation state that a minimum of $5000.00 per room be purchased. Imagine that your 10 room house is completely empty. In this case, you would purchase $50,000.00. More coverage is available should the situation warrant. Some people say that they are moving , but they only want coverage for the TV’s. You have to cover the entire shipment. Here’s an example, State Farm will not allow you to just insure the stereo in your car; they require you to cover the entire vehicle. Whenever we sell a move, we are ethically bound to discuss all valuation options with the customer and require a signed form prior to the move date. Reasons for this include a more informed customer, and we don’t want to show up to your house on move day and waste your time. If you prefer an in-home estimate, the salesman will bring the form to you. If you prefer a phone estimate, the salesman will email a copy to you. We are very determined to educate you on all pertinent matters pertaining to your move.
Now, to the customer’s review. Unfortunately, some damage did occur, and the customer selected Option 1. No lies were told to the customer, and she completed the valuation form and returned it prior to her move date. The customer made a willful decision without influence. After the move, the customer filed a claim. Based on the customer’s selection, $300.00 maximum payout, we honored the contractual agreement and sent the customer a check. To cite another example, some people purchase liability only insurance for their automobile. If they have an at-fault accident, State Farm will not repair their vehicle because they haven’t purchased additional coverage. We have treated this customer with fairness, honesty and integrity. Orlando Lynch, the owner, has been in direct contact with the customer and has personally reviewed the claim. We are sorry for the damage; it is not our intent to cause problems. Sometimes claims do occur no matter how careful our movers are. Please make certain that you understand your options and ask your sales person questions before making a valuation selection. Finally, we welcome this customer to check the validity of any of our reviews. We are proud of our accomplishments and love our customers. Bill Boone

Best in the Country
We had a local move and an out of state move two days in a row with these guys and both crews were awesome. They must get an incentive to finish on time and without damages. Both destinations and no damage claims! Much thanks to Lamar, Marvin and Darrel for an awesome multi state move.

APM - Request Calvin McGuire & Crew - THE BEST
APM is great because of the great people. Three gentlemen showed up and gave me the upmost respect. These guys were nothing but professional. No need to dread your next move with APM. Do yourself a favor and request Calvin McGuire and his crew. They will do everything in their power to make sure you are comfortable with your move.

Again, I cannot say enough about these gentlemen. If I ever move again, my ONLY choice will be Calvin and his crew with APM.

Great job
We recently used APM to move extra furniture out of our house and into storage to stage it for sale. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the crew, but all three of them did a great job, didn't damage a thing, and worked hard the entire time they were there. We hope to use them again when our house sells and we move to the new house.

Excellent movers in every way
We moved from a 5 bedroom home in Roswell to a similar sized home in Atlanta. Peach Movers did a miraculous job in moving large pieces without any damage. They came at 8:30 a.m. and stayed to complete the job that night. Chuck's crew never complained, even when I asked them to move furniture that had already been placed. Some of our furniture was extremely heavy, and the crew navigated our stairs without damaging anything. Richard was particularly impressive because he was always there when the heaviest pieces were being moved. I enjoyed each of the seven guys who helped move us. They were polite and personable. Peach Movers also moved my son a couple of years ago and did the same kind of job. When you move, you worry that your furniture will come through damaged. Peach Movers took incredible care to make sure that everything arrived in perfect condition. I would use them again and again (although I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon!). I recommend them without reservation.
