Not worth the headache
I got this Kudzu because I needed some small jobs and a few bigger jobs done around the house. Zach made the appointment. the first day two inexperienced guys came out and spent all day doing not even 10% of my list. I was so furious because I had greater expectations given the reviews. I am handy but I thought if I can get two guys to come out and knock out my list that would be worth it. I had emailed my list well in advance so that he would get some idea of what needed to be done. On the day they arrived, jobs were delayed because Zach had to go get supplies, I was left with two guys basically sitting around most of the day. I spoke with Zach and he was very nice and appropriately said that he would come back and finish the job. On the return day, he showed up late, left for 30 mins to get supplies and was gone most of the time leaving the inexpereinced apprentice to "do" some work. This is not my expectation for someone who is coined as an experienced contractor. On top of that, at the end of the day, I was handed an invoice for an additional $382. Apparently at 1pm, the $65/hr kicked in, yet I was not made aware of this. I have no problem paying for work but the work was not up to standard. The paint job I could have done better and should NEVER have hired this company. In fact, I have to have the paint redone because you can see where the old paint cut off. The jobs I had were not hard jobs at all and so it baffles me why it took them two full days to do it.
