I have a 15 year old system that I know is living on borrowed time. The first time, the a/c went out on a Friday night in mid-July, no one else would come out on the weekend, and it was approaching... 100 degrees. This time, I returned home on Sunday evening to a house that was about 48 degrees. I tried myself to reset the furnace but ended up breaking a condenser pipe and making matters worse. I called Peavey who had someone on the way immediately. Brandon got here within about 30 minutes. After negotiating my cluttered garage and attic to get to the unit, he spent several minutes checking things only to discover that the ignition was bad.He gave me a price that was thousands less than I expected when I placed the call, so I told him to go ahead. Within an hour, the heat was back on and the pvc pipe I broke was fixed. Brandon was kind, professional, and just a pleasure to work with. Too often, as a single woman, I'm always afraid that someone will try to take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge. I never feel that way with Peavey. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. They will also be the first call early this spring when I finally bite the bullet and have the HVAC system replaced.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Last summer both my heat and air collapsed just before going back to work.(I'm a teacher.) I had to have EVERYTHING replaced. Peavey was fast, courteous, and professional!! Originally bought voucher for AC check-up. I was not home when they came, but I did have someone waiting for them. The technician checked the furnace and did nothing with the AC. After then calling Peavey, I was told it says "RIGHT ON THE VOUCHER" that one AC tune-up and one heating tune-up are included, but that it is too cold for them to do that AC check-up today (67F). The voucher says NOTHING like this! I was then told they would contact me later in the spring to do the AC checkup. I am doubtful, but will certainly correct this review if I am wrong and they actually come out to do the check. Additionally, the person answering the phone needs to learn some common courtesy, especially since he was talking to a (former) customer. In a nutshell, I would avoid these folks if I were you! The voucher I downloaded from the net has NOTHING ON IT about the seasonal checks. Also, the response indicates that Peavey called. When? I carry the cell phone with me at all times, yet there is no indication of any call from Peavey. I stand by my original comment: AVOID THESE FOLKS!
I just called "bear971" about this review with no response. The voucher labeled "50% off 1 year HVAC contract" does include two precision tune ups: one heating and one cooling. It does say on the voucher that we perform the tune ups during each season. During the november months we run heating inspections and typically do not run the cooling inspections. We run the heating inspection as the cold weather is approaching to ensure the system is working properly. This morning when we were at the customers home it was under 65 degrees. The reason why we don't perform AC tune ups if it is under 65 degrees is to ensure our clients can get the full investment for their money. Regardless, we apologize about the mis communication that we were coming to perform the heating inspection and not the cooling. I will have a meeting with our team to ensure we are reminding our clients that we perform the heating inspection during winter months and the cooling during the summer months. Please contact me directly on my cell phone if you would like and we can get someone out to perform an AC inspection during a warmer afternoon like today. Jason Peavey 678-777-5643 **Update. We have 100% guarantee so if you would like we can refund you for your deal even though we performed the heating precision tune up. I called him on his other number without an answer. I understand we could have better communicated we were coming out to do the heating inspection but do not feel we deserve a one star review for the miscommunication. Either way we appreciate the feedback and will do bette in the future.
Technician did extremely thorough servicing of furnace. He performed quality work and noted a few problems. He made recommendations, but was not pushy. We agreed to some of his suggestions and work was performed promptly the next day. I highly recommend the company.

Jason, David, Joe and all the staff did a great job making sure that my new system and installation was done both according to my needs and my specifications. I did a comprehensive remodel on my home and worked with many vendors and contractors- Peavey was by far the best. I only regret that the professionalism, courtesy and sincerity that I received from Peavey HVAC was not provided by any of my other contractors.

I've done business with this company for the last couple of years. The business includes new systyem(s)for HVAC in my house. I've never had more confidence in a company I've done business with. They are organized, professional, knowledgeable and affordable. I found them by accident (online research) when my previous company was "on vacation and my air went out in August." I love these guys !

These guys are amazing. We have been in a bind more than once and they have always been there within a few hours, even on a Friday afternoon. All of their techs are friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. This kind of customer service is refreshing.
My AC went out and I was referred to Peavey HVAC. I made the call and they had someone out right away to diagnose the problem. Andy measured the house, did a survey and discussed our needs for the system. We chose to replace the system vs. continued repairs and then the installation team took care of the rest. They were very careful and neat in the house [put down drop cloths over the floors and wore booties to protect the carpet] and were a joy to have around. Then a few days after our install David came by to do a quality control check and to do any tweaking that might need to be done after our initial set up. That was a very nice touch and one I have not seen in other home repairs. Everyone we have come into contact with at Peavey has been very professional and so nice to work with. When my 15 y.o. condensing unit bit the dust last May and after getting several quotes from competing contractors, a friend suggested that I give Peavey a call. I'm a mechanical engineer and have a background in commercial HVAC systems design - which I don't tell contractors at first...just to see if they'll try to feed me a line of BS. I feel that Peavey’s staff –their salesman, their installers and the owner (David – who did a follow-up quality inspection visit after the install was complete) are very professional, knowledgeable and truly committed to service and customer satisfaction. They seem to understand that there are hundreds of HVAC contractors out there (some good and a lot of bad ones) and that their service and competitiveness in the market are what is going to set them apart. Peavey will be my go-to contractor for all things HVAC and I strongly recommend them to all.

Peavey A/C & Heating have replaced three major components of the two HVAC systems in my 15 year old house. In my downstairs system, they replaced the entire air conditioning system and the entire furnace system. In my upstairs system, they replaced the air conditioning system. If you've ever priced out these systems, you'll know they are one of the most expensive replacements to a house. Peavey does an outstanding job providing thorough work estimates, installation and quality checks. As part of the first replacement, I got estimates from several HVAC services providers. Peavey was the only one that provided a detailed list of work that made up the installation. Most of the other providers simple gave me a price and a brochure describing the unit to be installed. It was reassuring to know I could learn more about the different upgrades being made to my system. Once the system was installed, a quality check was performed by a senior staff member. They fine tuned the system settings and even calibrated the thermostat for the correct indoor temperature. They also gave me advice on how to run the system and adjust vents in my house to maximize efficiency and humidity control. Overall, it's been a great experience working with Peavey. These systems are very, very expensive and I'm glad I made a good investment in my home. With Peavey's professional service, I feel I have a system that will last 15 years....or more.

The team is very attentive starting with the initial consultation to the day the Technicians came to install the new unit. They worked in the rain and all day and into the night to get the installation complete. The unit works better than our old one ever did! There were some carpet stains left behind but Mr. Peavy himself offered to take care of it. The only negative were the stains left on the concrete outside where work was done. I would absolutely recommend Peavey A/C & Heating for anyone needing quality work performed.

My home air conditioning went out recently and I was referred to Peavey Heating & Air. I was extremely pleased with the way they conduct business. They made me feel like a client in a corporate environment, especially when the "comfort consultant" came to my house for a consultation. He was available after I got off work which was great since I didn't have to take a vacation day. He outlined all available options and they were out to install the system a couple days later. The phone operator checked in on me daily to provide updates and field any questions I had. The CFO of the company personally came out to diagnose my issue and to also conduct a "quality control audit" after the new system was put in. The installation crew was at my house at 8:00AM sharp and they finished the entire system installation (A/C and furnace) by a little after 5:00! The lead crewman was actually a little irked that they weren't done before 5:00, and I thought it was going to take at least 2 days! I was extremely surprised and satisfied with Peavey. This a very professional company and please believe me that this is the company that you want to call if your Heating or A/C goes out! They will make you feel like a king or queen, and you will NOT be disappointed with the results.
